I got an AA Arsenal as my first piece of good equipment last year. Hooked it up to an 1100d in a sealed box. Played and LOVED it. Until one day the output dropped considerably and i got out, the surround had torn 1/4 around the subs outer edge. I was upset, i blamed manufacterer error. I sent the sub in, Chad didn't beleive it was workmanship error. pulled the cone out and the coil was black. I was clipping the amp, very common mistake. although i was convinced i wasn't clipping, i sucked it up and accepted the truth. But despite my stupidity. Hey guys I am at the Daytona SBN right now. It is Saturday night. My head has been rocked today by lil jons 18 15" AA Chaos in a sealed clamshell with 2 partial dividers and 9 Clarion 1500 rms amps. lil jon said he's getting about 800rms per and his installer big mikey says each sub has 2.5 cubes. Chris a builder at Fi/AA explained to me that the AA lineup is thir retailer line (avail to dealers) and that each sub is exactly comparable to the Fi lineup. The Chaos that lil jon are running are in fact an SSD w/ the copper coil options. The rest of the lineup is in AA is the Fi equiivalent with all options. Im one of those guys who can look over some t/s specs and not know what the hell im lookin at lol.. Basically AA is new to me, i went straight for the Fi BTL, but ive been seeing these for sale locally lately (craigslist) and im curious.. For the most part i need to know what each sub is good for.. as in SPL, SQ.. Ive been eyeballin these 2 havoc 12's but dont really want to buy them knowing nothing about them.. AA is a good name, that im sure of. just need more details, if someone could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it. At the very least someone who knows the havoc series please fill me in.

I have bought myself a small hatchback(87 Toyota FX 16) and my 2.5cf box just will not fit. Any box ideas would be welcome as well. Thanks in advance.

As the title states I am contemplating designing a down firing box for one 12" Atlas. I have heard this helps increase SPL as well as makes for a stealth install. EDIT: 15" assassin...ha ha. I feel stupid now. What volume am I looking for a sealed box for a 15" arsenal. Also, what volume/tuning for a ported box. I'm not going for boomy bass so much as controlled punchy bass. I don't want a small box with no range, but I also don't want a huge box. I want something in between that leans toward the small side. I would model it myself, but I can't find the specs as the site is down. Also, what amp in the ~$200 range would you recommend for this sub? Right now I have a MTX MXA8001 running 800@2. But I'm not sure that I like it.

Hey guys, i drive a 2004 saturn ion, and first of all. Not using the trunk. Puting bucket seats down and putting the box on that and building my amp space in trunk by battery. Wondering some good specs for box you can reply to i can start building . I also want it double baffled and double baffled faceplace. Powering the beast with kicker kit 09PKD1, and AQ2200D.

I just purchased a 12" Atlas and am looking for some suggestions on enclosures. I will be running just one 12" with 300w rms going to it. Any recommendations appreciated.

I lost my copy of BBP6 when my computer crashed a couple months ago. My original plan was to run the Atlas at 4 cubes at 30hz. Well, plans change, and I have far too much equipment to run in the back of my Blazer 2 door with the spare inside. I'm looking at probably 2-2.5 cubes tops, and I "want" to reach down as low as possible with some authority. Will 2 cubes tuned to 28-30 hz work without creating a narrow peaky response? I'll be running a set of Dayton Ref 8's in the doors, so I'm ultimately looking at something that will play from 60hz down to the 20's fairly flat. If this isn't going to work, I'll have to look into other sub choices, as the space is now going to h…

Hi everyone ... I am confuse to decide which better and suit to my system. I used HAT Legatia 3way, and now consider to used Fi or AA product. Which better between Fi Q 12" vs AA Havoc 12" with sealed box for SQ competition ??? I will drive it by Genesis dual mono extreem bridge @ 4ohm. Is it true to compared Q with Havoc ??? or Q should compared with Chaos series or another ??? is Havoc for SQ like Q series ??? Can Havoc play SPL also ??? I also want to build fun SPL car here. For the msrp under USD $400.00 which AA's product would be better for fun / daily used SPL ??? Arsenal or Chaos series ??? Thanks for help me.....

I found this spot to experiment with Baffle building Baffle install Black paint Assasins installed Completed IB This setup consists of 4 12" Assasins, a parts express 1000 watt plate amp, and behringer feedback destroyer... It hits relatively hard and clean however my crappy drop ceilings vibrate uncontrollably which ruins it for me. I went with a different route with the assasins, 8 cubes sealed, sounds so much better to me. I can post pics of the sealed box if anyone wants to see. This is my basement, I'm gonna try another IB in the living room upstairs with some Mark I Brahma 12"s soon.

Will the new Assassin 8 work well in a free air application? I'm looking to do 2 door mounted 8's for midbass duty.

from experience has anybody played around with the new arsenals yet how do they match up with last years model. just order a pair of 15's i bought them cause i trust AA and FI. I know they make great subs just wanted to know anyways Ps. IM AAfanatic
