So how do I go about this , do I email someone or are the T/S going yo be posted up any time soon on a forum or on the AA website ? want to make a backloaded horn for it so simply giving box recomendations won't work for me . thanx.

Ok, I am most likely purchasing the L1 and L4 legatia drivers from Hybrid next week, and would like to use the Assasin 8's to complete a 3-way active component system. My plan was to xover the L4 down to ~140 maybe 150, then have the 8's from that number down to about 45, and the 15" Q from that down to 28. Would the assassin 8 be great for this? also, I wanted to mount it in the doors, (the L4's and L1's are going in kick panels). how wold it do in IB and what kind of power handling am I looking at? (i could build little sealed enclosures for them in doors if needed. (crossing fingers) hopefully will be ready for some of next seasons SQ competitions.

Hey guys. New to the SSA forum. I've been doing a lot of research lately on getting a new sub. So far I have just bought the wire and cap. I will be buying a Fosgate T10001BD soon, so I'll have about 1200+ to 1600 watts to work with. I'm trying to choose a sub to put on my amp. I have a box built... 3.6 after all displacement, tuned to 29~31 (probably 30 by my math). I don't have the extra time or money to buy another box, and mdf is over an hour's drive away. I listen to rap. Jeezy, T.I., Three 6, 8ball & MJG, etc etc. I'm not worried about rock. I want a sub that can take 1400 watts daily easily and will hit good 28 to 40. I finally have a day off of work and would like to build my box tomorrow for 1 15" Ascendant Audio Havoc powered by a Sundown SAZ~1500D. I want to do sub up and port back preferrably port on the passenger side to increase my own listening area. Port will be a slot, vent type and I will do a double baffle for bracing along with one 2x2 in the center of enclosure for internal bracing. My maximum external dimensions are 38" wide, 12" high, and 22" deep. Thanks to any replies in advance. I am looking to purchase a pair of Havoc 12"s in the near distant future and wanted to know what are the box recommendations for these subs and the optimum tuning?

In anyone's professional opinion, what port area would you recommend for 2 AAchaos 10's in a 5 cuft box running off 1 saz3000 at half ohm(or do you think this is too much for the amplifier?)? to be tuned to 33hz for street bass use. 5cuft is what i have available any recommendations?

So ive got 2 atlas 12s and they have that odd dvc setup (1 4 ohm coild and 1 2 ohm coil). i remember reading that u shouldnt wire the amp directly to the 2 ohm coil. what id like to know is, what are the various ways to wire up a pair of these subs. like what final ohm loads can i achieve and how do i wire them to achieve this. if u cant wire the 2 ohm coils by themselves, is it possible to wire them along with the 4 ohm coils? all this time ive only been wiring the subs at 2 ohms for 2 subs or 4 ohms for one sub just using the 4 ohm VC.

Is it possible to get a sticky started for the recommended box specs for the current offerings? I was hoping to get a 15" but I'm not going to be able to fit a 4 cube box in my trunk and leave enough room for anything. So I need to know box specs for a 12" havoc please

alright i bought 4 assassins from a friend well old friend now lol. only got 3 of em and the run around when i tried gettin the last one. the box i had is falling apart to say the least and its time for a new one. was gonna get one from a shop and waited a month to find out if i have them make me one they want 190 bux. screw that the box was only gonna b like 2.4 cubes. ive tried a few of the box calculators and not having the best results and vents under 3 inches seems too small but ascendant doesnt give any rec on port area so i was hoping somebody could give me a hand. id like to slap it together today or tomorrow. its gonna house 3 of em on the front with the vent on …
