Who is administering the warranty for Ascendant audio? I realize that there is a merger with Ficaraudio. I wasn't sure if I should post the question here or at Ficaraudio's spot. Scott and I have exchanged a few e-mails as I have been trying to isolate my problem. He has been EXTREMLY helpful, especially considering how busy he must be. Now that I know which driver I'm having issues with and what part failed, I'm curious which vendor will help me and if the 3 year warranty is still valid. I've got my driver boxed up and ready to ship, just wondering where it'll end up. Carl

I posted this on RoE and never got a responce so I figured i'd ask on here. I recently bought a blown 15" avalanche- I was wondering if I could still get recone parts to make it match my avalanche 18? If what I am asking is confusing I mean, can I get the same parts used in my working 18, to make my blown one an 18 as well. Meaning same dustcap etc? Do companies know that parts are used in these subs( companies that can recone them) or is there a way I can figure out the exact parts used to let them know? I have never reconed before and would probably be sending the 15 off to get it reconed, but again I am unsure of what to ask the company i'd be sending it to for a r…

Well I'm really aching to get some new subs, well really a new entire set up but at the moment only subs. Currently I have a 12" cvr and I'm really dissapointed in it. It probably has to do a lot witht the enclosure but I really didnt feel like trying to make a new one for it. As always money plays a mojor role in my decisions and I"m kinda torn between (2) 12 Assassins and (1) 12 Q. I have really been wanting to buy the Q, but one of the things holding me back is the amp. Im looking into getting a 12" havoc if my dd 3515 doesnt start shaping up or fitting in my car. Now whats ported enclosure size for a 12" havoc. Min and Max and Recommended and The size that makes it shine. I would like to know opinions on all 4 sizes. And tuned to what hz and what size port. Maybe this is just me.... but the AA Icon in the store menu has (18) products available but there are only 12 in the store. Is this a tease or an actual number of products that is going to be available in the store. Are the AA poly's (carb's) going to be part of this? I'm just curious. What's gonna fill the 6 motre slots? I can't decide whether to go with AQ Hdc3 12s, SSD 12s, or SA 12s I can give them about 2 cubes per sub ported with a sundown 2000d on each pair

i saw they had a 3in only 4 layer aluminum voice coil now alot have the 8 layer is this going to make a differnce in performance or anywhere. bc im am prob going to get one!

Sorry to ask because I know it's all over the forum but I cannot figure out what I need or where to get it. My AA has broken tinsel leads on one voice coil and I have no clue how to fix it. I would assume to fix it the right way, I'd need to pull the cone out, but after that I'm not sure what parts I'd need to repair it.

I am buying a Havoc 12 and starting over since my system just got stolen. I have 1100 watts and listen to everything from Rock to Reggae. It says I can use 1.2-2.5. I was looking at 2.0 cubes at 32hz. Anyone have any experience with better size/tuning for all around LSQ. Will something larger be noticeably more efficient. its going in trunk of Grand Prix so i can fit any size for single sub.

Just ordered my set of Assassin 12's today (I cant wait!!!) and Im wondering what to do a/b the box. I have 4cubes total before disp of anything to play with. They will be behind my bench seat in my 84 GMC single cab, so I planning on the subs on the passenger side, with a slot port out of the drivers side. What tuning/port area should I use for these? I know my old 8" assassins loved higher tuning (45htz) are these new line subs different? Suggestions/opinions please!

Still working on my AA Arbiter and needed help with my Precision Port tubes. The enclosure plans call for a 3" diameter and 5" length port. The enclosure is a 1.0 cu.ft. I have two questions..... 1. What is the tuning freq. of the enclosure 2. Are the dimensions for the port specifically for a Precision Port or is this for your regular 3" tube at 5" length. Reason I ask is because the Precision Port directions have different direction for tuning. I guess this is because of the flare on both sides. I really need some help with this. Ive been all over the forum trying to figure out which sub would work best for me and I still havent come to a conclusion. Most recently, Im thinkin about either a 12" Chaos or 12" Havoc. I have a 2.5 cubic ft box ported and Im planning on buying an audiopipe ap10001d or ap15001d depending on which sub I choose. I drive an infiniti sedan so the box will be in the trunk. I am currently running on Fi X 12 at 2ohms with 250 watts from a fosgate prime and it sounds good for a $250 setup but I want an increase in SPL without having to build a new box. Is the Havoc worth the extra money in my situation or will the Chaos being a satisfying upgrade from the Fi X? I know it can be…

So I see AA is affiliated with fiaudio? Why not just have more sub lines at fi? Anyways whats the difference in these subs compared to fi? And what sub would you recommend that doesnt have a motor diamter of more than 6.75" and the over all depth of the sub not deeper than 7" And can handle a sundown 1200 v2. Looking for 2 12s
