I know they are similar to SSD, but not the same. Need Parameters or recommended ported box, size, tuning. Listen to a lot of Metal and Reggae. Each sub only getting 500 watts in the trunk of a Grand Prix

I have a pair of AA Chaos 10's, in about 2.3 cubes net. I was wondering if one 4 inch Aero was enough. I may do dual 3 inch ports, but if I step up to 6 inch, it has to be longer than the box.

  7. Nick, Scott, and Shawn - sent out an email about this the other day - any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!! Also to anyone else that might have some ideas for a sick wall setup behind the 2nd row seats in my trailblazer let me know. Info on the truck: its a 2004 EXT, so its a little longer than the normal blazer Rough measurements are 42in wide, 39 in deep, and about37in high - i might be able to squeez out another inch or 2 for the width and height. Looking for something different....goal is the 149.9 bass race class thanks in advance

I'm really don't know how to go about planning a subwoofer box from scratch. I used to start with the calculator for plans on subwoofertools.com, but that website just went poof. Now I don't know what to do... My dimensions are 17 high x 17 deep x 37 wide... tuning needs to be 33htz... I will add a second baffle and bracing, but we'll just used those dimensions for simplicity... If there is anyone out there than can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I tried to get some answers out of AA about the difference between the two materials and never received a response. What I know so far is that AA will offer mids in a carbon cone as opposed to the original Poly cones. Can someone give me a better feel as to how these speakers will sound compared to the two different materials. As far as I know, the two are built the same but the material for the cone are different. I'm really on my last string with AA. Don't get me wrong, I love what they have done in the past. AA has been more than kind to me. Chad has done some wonderful things for me in the past. Updates and news about new and improved products have been terrible. I'…

Hey fellas.. can someone help me with dimensions for putting together a sealed enclosure for a 15" Avalanche into a 2003 mustang? KU40 PM'd me dimensions on carstereo but that forums down.. again and i cant access my inbox =/ Im looking to put together a sealed enclosure at first. I'd like to try 2 different dimensions... 1) that could slide in through the back seat... therefore the max dimensions would be. 36"w x 27" d x 11" h .. upfiring and id like to try 2.2cubes after displacement 2) Id like to try to put together a 2 piece sealed box.. with a max height of 14.5" ... so this one would be like putting the "bottom half" of the box in, and then putting the top half in a…

I'm thinking about either getting an AA Havoc 15" or a Fi Q 15" with all the options. The box that I'm planning on getting is a 4 cubic foot vented box with a port tune of 32 hertz. Would this be a good box for either of the two subs??? Heres the site of the box too. http://cgi.ebay.com/15-CUSTOM-VENTED-MDF-S...oQQcmdZViewItem

  24. I am buying a Havoc 12 and starting over since my system just got stolen. I have 1100 watts and listen to everything from Rock to Reggae. It says I can use 1.2-2.5. I was looking at 2.0 cubes at 32hz. Anyone have any experience with better size/tuning for all around LSQ. Will something larger be noticeably more efficient. its going in trunk of Grand Prix so i can fit any size for single sub.
