Aight... So I used to have a T1 15 and it hit lower songs (such as White Girl, Hood Figga, etc) with authority. I just hooked up my friend's Fi Q 15 up to my amp (exact same settings) and it hit those lows like my T1 used to... My problem is that when songs dip into about 29-31 htz, the sub starts moving VERY little and the sounds just kinda poofs. No real BOOM or loudness. Now this might be dependent upon the box. I tuned it to about 31-32 htz. I played tones and it moves the least at a 31 htz tone, so yeah. I realize that it moves less in this range b/c it is nearing the tuning freq and the sub's beginning to "unload." But why does the volume decrease so much? The box i…

Just picked up an original 12" Assassin, single 4 ohm, ones with stamped steel basket. I'm looking for the best SQ I can get with ported enclosure, as i listen to all genres of music. I was thinking 2.0cf @ 32hz? Going with a slot port so how many sq inches of port? Going in the trunk of my grand prix btw.

Anyone have the Arsenal Series or heard them? My friend is looking for a pair of 12s for sealed operation to power off a JL Audio 1000/1. These look nice but how would they sound sealed?

Hi, I've got an AA Avalanche 12 that I purchased about 4 years ago. Last year it started cutting in and out intermittently so I shelved it saying I'd deal with it later. I had it in a 1.25ft^3 sealed box on a 350W PG amp. I don't get any grinding noises when i push on the cone and see no physical damage. Can anyone tell me who I can get in contact with to possibly get this thing repaired, assuming it's cost effective? I really enjoyed the sub while it worked. When I bought it, I was looking for a low priced sub with XBL^2 ( used to have a Brahma) and this sub was perfect. Im looking at both of these woofers, I know their both very loud but I want to do it right and still be loud. My biggest concern is the price, the Havoc may be a tad too much, but im curious as to have the Havoc's compare to the BL since everyone compares them to the Q's. Need some help on what to buy, going to be in 3.5 cf tuned to 32 in a trunk car.

What is the retail price on the havoc 18's the website does not have any prices.

Well, I feel like a moron. I was messing around today, doing nothing extremely stupid, and turned a 30 hz sine wave up a bit and the bass stopped. These are the Havoc 18 pre production subs. Only one is pwned. Both coils are gone, and there seems to have been a joint failure at the spider/coil/cone connection. Needless to say, my heart was broken when this happened because I love these subs so much. How much am I looking at for a recone? Certain people's inboxes were full when I tried to send this via pm.

anyone ever did a ported box at about 3.0 cubes @30 hz for an avalanche 15? if so how does it perform? i have alot of power to throw at it so i can build a smaller box

from experience has anybody played around with the new arsenals yet how do they match up with last years model. just order a pair of 15's i bought them cause i trust AA and FI. I know they make great subs just wanted to know anyways Ps. IM AAfanatic
