I got a problem i want two havoc 15s but they are 2ohm subs and my amp is 2500 at one ohm can i use the amp i got with two 2 ohm subs

Where do I find pics of the cone on the arsenal series. The pics in the shop are all side and bottom views.

So I posted the question in the Fi forum but haven't gotten a full answer there. I had asked about woven tinsels on the Q and was wondering if this is a change that has been or will be done on the Havocs. I'll hopefully be picking on e up mid March or at tax time.

Wassup guys...Im looking into uprgading my current system: Sony xm-D9001GTR mono amp (550w @ 4 ohm/ 900w @2 ohms) pushing some new Sony XS-L123P5B 12's 330w RMS 1300peak blah blah....nothing too spectacular but due to the size of my sealed box, they hit pretty decent... Was debating switching to 2 of the AA Assassin Series 12"D4...im guessing I cant push these at 2ohm due to the amp and them being DVC 4 ohm subs and technically they'd probably run best a 4 ohms on this amp(550w)... For the hardest hit, should I just run 2 at 4 ohms(550w) in my current sealed box which is pretty big(dont know exact specs on it, maybe like 2.5ft in each chamber )...or run 4 of them at 2 o…

well like the title says im going to be getting two more arsenal 15's i have two already I AM A need help with box design the four will be going in a 4 door 96 tahoe. you dont have to tell me how they will sound i already know.

ok i allways thought chad was still in charge of AA, but just had scott help him design the subs. as i was reading in the other thread though it appears that chad has his own companey "epic audio" so does this mean that he is no longer assciated with AA? if so who is in charge?

Was browsing on the web and came across this. Seems that AA will not only have 3 but 5 series of subs: Assassin, Arsenal, Chaos, Havoc and Mayhem - Mayhem being an SPL woofer Is that old old news (like before FI Car Audio)? or ...?

I am looking at a sub box and I want to go sealed. It has limitations on the mount depth and I was wondering if anyone has specifications on the mount depth of the 10 & 12 arsenal and assasin subs? The box has 1.15 cu ft of space and sealed. Would an assaasin or arseanl be a better sub for that? Should I go 10 in or 12 in with that space? I am after sound quality so keep that in mind.

God its annoying not having a source to find out info on AA's drivers. Does anyone have the specs for the 18" Havoc? Well,i have most of the specs but i am looking for..... What is the cut out diameter? What is the overall diameter (outside diameter)? What is the mounting depth? What is the driver displacement? Thanks

Hey guys my friend is thinking about picking up one of these and i just have a few questions - What is the RMS on it and how much would it be able to take? - What is the recommended box size/hz? - How does it compare to subs like re sx, hc, fi ssd/q.. etc? I would get the new arsenal but the RMS is only 500 and my friend wants 750-1000.. if you dont know the answers, then its all good. thanks for the help

heres a short vid of my atlas 15 in the grand am, its running off a RE12.1 amp at 4ohms so around 350wrms. gets decently loud and trunk rattle is really bad. hopefully i can find someone with a camra so i can take longer vids since my memory card is full. 3dbNM31vSE4

I have 4 atlas 12's that i am putting in my living room in 2 seperate sealed boxes. Wiring a pair together what would my final imp. be? I'm going to use a pro amp that puts out max power at 2 ohms but still cranks out the juice at 4 ohm as well. I'm kinda lost with this 4/2 ohm coil configuration. I also would like know what size box would be right too. I know there is a low, mid and high qts settings, does that relate to the 2 ohm coil being open, shorted or adding a resistor? If i shorted the 2 ohm coils and wired the 4 ohm coils in parallel would i achieve a four ohm load using two subs? If i did this to the other 2 subs and then parelleled them together as four would …

Hey guys. New to the SSA forum. I've been doing a lot of research lately on getting a new sub. So far I have just bought the wire and cap. I will be buying a Fosgate T10001BD soon, so I'll have about 1200+ to 1600 watts to work with. I'm trying to choose a sub to put on my amp. I have a box built... 3.6 after all displacement, tuned to 29~31 (probably 30 by my math). I don't have the extra time or money to buy another box, and mdf is over an hour's drive away. I listen to rap. Jeezy, T.I., Three 6, 8ball & MJG, etc etc. I'm not worried about rock. I want a sub that can take 1400 watts daily easily and will hit good 28 to 40. Here is a pic of the first AA 18"s doing 150.6 on the termlab at 28 hz. we also had 4 of the 15's doing a 155.8 with no wall.

My new Havoc 12 came in today. I don't have a box built yet soI will post listening results tomorrow or Thursday. This sub seems to be built very well. It is very beefy. The packaging wasn't too great, but it arrived safely. The only thing is one spring terminal is sticking. I think that will be easily fixable though. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment.

Hi All The ava15 I'm having problems with isn't co-operating, so it looks like the next step is to take it apart and see whats going on inside, whats making that clicking / tapping sound. Hi All I've got 2 Avalanche 15" drivers, both of which I recently got from shipped from the US. I also recieved the EP2500 I'm going to be driving them with just a few days back. Im eventually going to be installing an IB sub for HT, but for now I'm going to build dual enclosures. Yesterday I hooked each of them up without enclosure, (haven't build them yet!) just to make sure they work. one works fine, but the other makes a "tapping" or "clicking" sound as it moves. the sound is like the sound it would make if you put your finger close enough to the cone that it hit it every cycle. I'm not sure the specs for the box but they were set exactly like chad told made by someone on sound domain who was a good box builder =). Anyways ; I wanted to get 2 Assassin 12's because Chad told me they could be drop-in replacements. My girlfriend thought as a christmas present she should get me the Arsenals' instead because they cost more and would be better. I didn't find this out till they were shipped to my house.
