Im looking at both of these woofers, I know their both very loud but I want to do it right and still be loud. My biggest concern is the price, the Havoc may be a tad too much, but im curious as to have the Havoc's compare to the BL since everyone compares them to the Q's. Need some help on what to buy, going to be in 3.5 cf tuned to 32 in a trunk car.

I am buying a Havoc 12 and starting over since my system just got stolen. I have 1100 watts and listen to everything from Rock to Reggae. It says I can use 1.2-2.5. I was looking at 2.0 cubes at 32hz. Anyone have any experience with better size/tuning for all around LSQ. Will something larger be noticeably more efficient. its going in trunk of Grand Prix so i can fit any size for single sub.

I have four original Assassin 8's BNIB sitting in my closet that I was going to use for my car but I've decided to get out of car audio so now I'm thinking about using them for my home theater/stereo. I've already decided on some Acculine Tower and center speakers so my thoughts are to build two sub towers to go off to the sides of the L/R main Towers, each containing two of the Assassin 8's. It'll mainly be for movies and video games but I'd like the subs to work well with music. I'm looking for something different than sealed or regular ported boxes due to the rather high FS of the Assassin 8's, I've been thinking of an Aperiodic Bi-Chamber (ABC) or Transmission Line bo…

Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …

I posted this on RoE and never got a responce so I figured i'd ask on here. I recently bought a blown 15" avalanche- I was wondering if I could still get recone parts to make it match my avalanche 18? If what I am asking is confusing I mean, can I get the same parts used in my working 18, to make my blown one an 18 as well. Meaning same dustcap etc? Do companies know that parts are used in these subs( companies that can recone them) or is there a way I can figure out the exact parts used to let them know? I have never reconed before and would probably be sending the 15 off to get it reconed, but again I am unsure of what to ask the company i'd be sending it to for a r…

However, from the searching I have done I have not been able to find a place to price or purchase any AA products. Can someone please point me in the right direction.....Thanks.

I've searched the net but haven't come up with a number. The Xmax has been stated numerous times, just not the Xmech. I have two Avalanche 18's in an IB in my 3000 ft^3 HT and love 'em. Thanks... btw, great forum!

Would 2 12" Mayhem's be ok in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box..

Im currently looking at a Havoc 15" right now due to good overall responses for sealed enclosures yet still able to play loud as in loud based from personal reviews we have. Based from specs, we can start from 1.5-3.0 CF... Q1: What does CF stand for? Q2: How does the size affect the overall output and sound quality? Q3: Would going towards the smaller size 1.5 be better or towards the maximum of 3.0? Q4: Any experince playing with the box size that possibly was the best size for sealed enclosure? Thank you so much. looking for any inputs you may have.
