just wanted to know what are some things to look for in a great sub. i know xmax but some other things that are important. just little question like why different size surrounds?

Will the new Assassin 8 work well in a free air application? I'm looking to do 2 door mounted 8's for midbass duty.

so ive seen that ppl have been rebuilding sub to a different diameter and im wondering if i should consider it an option? right now i have a 12in AA arsenal running of 600rms, in a 2.2 cubes net, ported to 30hz and im pretty happy with but i was considering the possiblity of going to a 10 in a ported box or a 15 sealed because i think it would sound better.... is this just a waste of time? its 2 in the morning so maybe my heads not in the right place.... could i go 18" just for chits and giggles???? lol

What would be the most daily power you would give a 10" Arsenal? How does 1200w sound

Has anyone actually heard a Chaos? I had my heart set on a Havoc 12 but I'm afraid it may now be a little too rich for my blood after seeing the dealer MSRP. If anyone has actually seen a Chaos in action would you consider it a worthy upgrade to the 1st gen Arsenals? My plan is to get a refurbished Sundown SAE 1000D to power either the Chaos 12 or the Havoc 12. I won't be doing anything for several months but I just want some reliable info before I dive into it. Thanks.

UPS just showed up and dropped off 4 of these beauties Picked these up for a decent sized sealed setup. There is a bassrace show coming up on the 19th so hopefully I'll have some numbers on them soon. Will be running them off of an american bass 500.1 at .5 Really can't wait to watch some movies in the truck with these guys

Hey guys my friend is thinking about picking up one of these and i just have a few questions - What is the RMS on it and how much would it be able to take? - What is the recommended box size/hz? - How does it compare to subs like re sx, hc, fi ssd/q.. etc? I would get the new arsenal but the RMS is only 500 and my friend wants 750-1000.. if you dont know the answers, then its all good. thanks for the help

I was thinking of using a pair of 8" Assassin's 8ohm 1st. gen. in an IB. This would go into my 07 Atima. Are these subs set up to run in an IB install. If not, I need to find another use for these subs.

Ok. Long story short... My current set-up the last 2 and 1/2 years is 2, 12" Atlas's in a sealed box. I'm not sure the specs for the box but they were set exactly like chad told made by someone on sound domain who was a good box builder =). Anyways ; I wanted to get 2 Assassin 12's because Chad told me they could be drop-in replacements. My girlfriend thought as a christmas present she should get me the Arsenals' instead because they cost more and would be better. I didn't find this out till they were shipped to my house. My current amp is Alpine 605m. It does 600RMS at 2 ohms, and 400RMS at 4... It is not stable at 1 (unfortunately =(..) My atlas's were hooked up at 2…

Is the atlas 12 able to be used in an IB set up for car audio? I can't find any of the old specs.

I have an 18" Avalanche that i bought about 1.5 yrs ago. Was wondering how much it would cost to get it reconed. Had it in a 13cu.ft box tuned to 30hz with 1200RMS and i loved it, but i assume it took all it could and is now making a scratching sound when i turn it up.

I just bought a SAZ1500.1 and sold the Q's about 3 months into it. I would like to know if it is possible to have a pair of Havoc's made with D1 coils? If this is possible, will this significantly effect the drivers performance, BL, etc... to the point where I should just wait until I can buy another amp? Please let me know. Thanks, Chris

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum so bear with me. I'm looking to pick up 2 10" subs but I'm deciding between two. The first choice would be 2 10" AA assassins. My other choice would be two DD 510Bs. There specs look the same but i don't know which to get. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

where can i purchase them? heres my zip 94579 how would a pair work in 2-2.5cuft on a sundown 1500d? what frequency would be good? 70% rap 30% everything else.

from experience has anybody played around with the new arsenals yet how do they match up with last years model. just order a pair of 15's i bought them cause i trust AA and FI. I know they make great subs just wanted to know anyways Ps. IM AAfanatic

how much power does an 18 mayhem handle in the max 8 cft enclosure for daily bumping? i have two 2610s which i could link to 5,2 kw. BUT with voltage drop to 12,8 there will just be around 3,3 kw.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I searched and nothing came up. I want to run a 15" Havoc but my amp (Zapco 6.0) is only 2 ohm stable mono. Can AA make these in dual 4ohm versions?

What is the weight of the 18'' Havoc? And will it bang harder then the fi 18''Q's?

I love those huge systems, but I'm not rolling in a SUV so I'll be limited to just one sub. Who here has just 1 12 or 15 havoc. How do you like it and what kind of numbers are you getting if you've ever been metered. How big is your box? thanks

Hi, I've got an AA Avalanche 12 that I purchased about 4 years ago. Last year it started cutting in and out intermittently so I shelved it saying I'd deal with it later. I had it in a 1.25ft^3 sealed box on a 350W PG amp. I don't get any grinding noises when i push on the cone and see no physical damage. Can anyone tell me who I can get in contact with to possibly get this thing repaired, assuming it's cost effective? I really enjoyed the sub while it worked. When I bought it, I was looking for a low priced sub with XBL^2 ( used to have a Brahma) and this sub was perfect. I just read that AA is in the process of a merger and there really isn't a whole lot of info …
