While we figured to have the sub ready to go by the end of Feb, we have ran into a couple of tooling and parts delays with the sub. Currently we are waiting for the latest material sample for the spider as well as a new lead with a completely different core and wrapping technique... not to mention that it appears that the spider spacing ring we tooled is MIA due to the injection molding company we are using in China seems to have gone under. This has put us in a bind for several other parts that we get through them as well and we are having some help in China in tracking down the tooling for these parts (shot in the dark). Looking for some ideas on building a box for my new mayhem 18 that should be here sometime this week. It is going in a 2002 pontiac grand prix 4 door. I can put it in the trunk or I can do a wall if thats whats needed. Just not sure on size and tuning for it.

So, I understand the two companies are focused on different areas of the market, but I'd like some help figuring out which sub to buy. I've got an awesome wife who wants to buy me one for Christmas. Can someone who has experience with both of these subs try and explain the difference a person might be able to hear, like is one louder than the other in their spec'd boxes? I see some differences in construction (triple vs double magnet and spiders) and t/s specs (Bl, Vas, etc.), what differences would these make. Hi everyone ... I am confuse to decide which better and suit to my system. I used HAT Legatia 3way, and now consider to used Fi or AA product. Which better between Fi Q 12" vs AA Havoc 12" with sealed box for SQ competition ??? I will drive it by Genesis dual mono extreem bridge @ 4ohm. Is it true to compared Q with Havoc ??? or Q should compared with Chaos series or another ??? is Havoc for SQ like Q series ??? Can Havoc play SPL also ??? I also want to build fun SPL car here. Still need to clean it up, wash it, and get all the saw dust and crap off everything so it looks better. Pretty dirty right now though. Not finished though. Going to have more highs inside the cabin when I get money (obviously), glassed doors, glassed center console, and some extra stuff on the amprack like more speakers and some logos on the black thing. Its not anywhere near "finished", but its all playing, and it looks pretty good now. As said, still need to put the line driver in and hook up my alternator. Will make a huge difference since right now the batteries sit at like 12v and the voltage drops so low that the amps shut off. Havent gotten the subs even close to …

i'm from another forum and a guy is claiming that he bought 6 AA Arsenal 10"s for separate applications, and all suffered suspension problems.. he says the guy who built the boxes said i looking to find out if this is a known problem, or if the problem lies elsewhere.. thanks

Nothing special... I'm not all that great at building boxes... but here is what me and and my friend threw together. about 10 different braces lol. I had a bunch of extra internal space.

Alright, I dunno wtf went wrong or why it happend but my two Assasain Series 8's sound like complete ass. I had a shop install my subs for me, custom built wood box, memphis 500watt amp and they BLOW!! I think my stock system bumps harder than these things. I dunno what the hell is wrong. I got the subs, they sat in the box for like a week and a half, then got installed. The installed said he looked the whole sub and system over and saw nothing wrong. They hooked up a Memphis 8'' into my box and it hit harder by itself, HELD IN PLACE, than my two subs did screwed down and cranked. Im pretty much pissed off to no extent right now, id love it if someone on here of authorit…

What do you guys think i should get? 2 15" BTL or 2 15" SMD. Not for SPL but i want my daily driver to hit. Im getting a sundown 3500 for which ever i choose to go with. Is the SMD more expensive then the BTL?

Hello, For nearly 3years now, I've been using the very first 18" hAvoc that was made. But, sadly, it died on me, well, there is a chance of resurrection, but I doubt it... After continuous playback(around 5 hours), thumping, at a party, it got super hot to the point where the basket was almost to hot to touch, and, dindt work anymore, obviously... My amplifier is a Crown XTi2000 (2krms@4ohm) and the enclosure is a 7.3NET @ 17hz (PR setup), mainly built for movies. So, now, I'm looking for something somehow, bulletproof. I recently pulled a pair of my AA POLYS from one of my vehicles and wanted to build the AA TM Arbiter System. I already have the Vifa XT tweet from the kit. All I need is to build a cabinet and buy parts for the crossover. I have the cabinet dimensions and I was hoping that someone could give me a part list from Parts Express so I can get the project going. Thanks!

My new Havoc 12 came in today. I don't have a box built yet soI will post listening results tomorrow or Thursday. This sub seems to be built very well. It is very beefy. The packaging wasn't too great, but it arrived safely. The only thing is one spring terminal is sticking. I think that will be easily fixable though. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment.
