I see that the efficiency of that sub is 89.9. Its one of the higher numbers ive seen. Is that good? I want to run a single 15" arsenal off a Kicker zx750.1. Is this too much power? I hear that this line of woofers are very underrated. Should I be fine with 750 watts? I want to first put it in a 2.4 cube sealed box to see how it sounds then I want to put it in ported 4 tuned to 30 like AA recommends. Any input is very much appreciated.

I am looking to purchase a pair of Havoc 12"s in the near distant future and wanted to know what are the box recommendations for these subs and the optimum tuning?

Can I get an idea on the cost of reconing one of the newer Havoc 15's? And what would the cost be to convert it to a 12"? I might have a line on a 15 motor and basket for the cheaps.

I just bought an aa avalanche 18 for my home theater sub. I'm looking for the .wdr file for winisd. It seems like everytime I put a new sub in, it comes out wrong. If anybody could email me or post a link I'd really appreciate it.

I have a pair of AA Chaos 10's, in about 2.3 cubes net. I was wondering if one 4 inch Aero was enough. I may do dual 3 inch ports, but if I step up to 6 inch, it has to be longer than the box.

I'm really don't know how to go about planning a subwoofer box from scratch. I used to start with the calculator for plans on subwoofertools.com, but that website just went poof. Now I don't know what to do... My dimensions are 17 high x 17 deep x 37 wide... tuning needs to be 33htz... I will add a second baffle and bracing, but we'll just used those dimensions for simplicity... If there is anyone out there than can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I am looking at the arsenals and chaos series subwoofers. The thing is I do not know what the prices are for the two mentioned subs. I am looking into 12's and 15's for both models, and based on the price I will be able to make the best decision on what is the best for the buck, since they are both high quality. The problem is that I have e-mailed AA twice requesting pricing info but have not heard back from them. I understand they are busy but it has been a week or so. Hi guys I just recently got an 18" AA Chaos and just put it in my car and i must say im extremely happy. I am surprised at the SQ this subwoofer has! The transitions between bass lines are so smooth, it handles highs great. And im still breaking it in! Compared to my older subs (Soundstream T415, RF HX2's) i must say this stuff is the best ive ever heard. Ive got it on a Mac Audio Fearless 1000 (~900wrms), in a 7cuft box tuned to 34hz. I know you guys do not check the forums very often, but I've sent a few emails and I know that you guys are super busy, so I just wanted to ask here of the off chance on of you checks it. I sent in my AA Havoc 15 to get repaired and got it back good as new (excellent service btw). But I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what went wrong with it, as we were never able to figure it out. Not just "mech issue" or "thermal issue," I am wondering what actually went wrong so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for the great service and sub guys!

On the old webpage it didn't recommend any box sizes for HT use. Does that mean the arsenal shouldn't be used for a HT sub. Can anyone give me any recommendations on a box size for the 12" version? I'm a noob when it comes to home theatre. Thanks!

So I finally got a car that will be sticking around for a bit. I picked up my AA Avlaanche 12s a few years ago and want to install them in the new car. I cannot find the specifications on these subwoofers. Could someone please point me to them? Also, what is the recommended sealed and ported enclosures? I have 2 ascendant audio avalanche 12s but one is damaged. I want to have 3 for the setup I am planning. Are these still availible? Can the aresenals also work as drop in replacements? Thanks, Neil

id like to run 2 18 havocs sealed off a bxi 2610 and i have ~ 12 cft of space for the box. the reason i want to go sealed is the more flat response and stronger low end production. does 12 cft work well or is it too much / less.

Hi, i’m from germany and i’m looking for some ascendant audio subs. i have an us amps usa-3000 (class a/b) and now i have to decline between two havoc 15d2 or a single mayhem 18d1. I want silly lows for tracks like “put on by jeezy” or “love for money by drama”. the box would be the same for both installations. i have space for a 7 cu ft. box after all displacements with a 85 in² port tuned to ~28 hz. So what do you think would be the best choice for me in this box? two havocs have more cone area, i think this could be an advantage for my goal but what i’ve heard the Mayhem is a very brutal sub. thanks for your help carsten

does anyone know where i can get AA components. i've seen them i dont know if there are exclusive, limited or any one can get them but there pricey. can any one let me know.
