Just picked up an original 12" Assassin, single 4 ohm, ones with stamped steel basket. I'm looking for the best SQ I can get with ported enclosure, as i listen to all genres of music. I was thinking 2.0cf @ 32hz? Going with a slot port so how many sq inches of port? Going in the trunk of my grand prix btw.

I've got two 10" assasins that were in a Wicked One. Needless to day, the wicked one gave great sound (SPL and SQ) but it is simply too big. I am looking for some ideas for a relatively small box. I have two ideas, simple ported or isobaric ported. The majority of the music will be heavy metal and country with the occasional rap song as well. It is going in a 2001 Grand Prix with Alpine Type S Co-Axils (40w per side) and stock rear speakers. The avalable space is: 13" Tall (wiggle room) 36" Wide 15" Deep They have a Hifonics ZX440 for power. Hey, I purchased two of them about a month ago, I am going to run 2 US AMPs MD2D to them. What I needed to know is, what should the box look like. well i have the older model arsenal the 15inch i still have a warrenty on the two subs anyways everything checks out right the subs are reading 4ohms but the sub wont move the cone is locked up i dont get it

I see that the efficiency of that sub is 89.9. Its one of the higher numbers ive seen. Is that good? I want to run a single 15" arsenal off a Kicker zx750.1. Is this too much power? I hear that this line of woofers are very underrated. Should I be fine with 750 watts? I want to first put it in a 2.4 cube sealed box to see how it sounds then I want to put it in ported 4 tuned to 30 like AA recommends. Any input is very much appreciated.

What subs would you guys recommend to run off my Rockford 2000?

Aight... So I used to have a T1 15 and it hit lower songs (such as White Girl, Hood Figga, etc) with authority. I just hooked up my friend's Fi Q 15 up to my amp (exact same settings) and it hit those lows like my T1 used to... My problem is that when songs dip into about 29-31 htz, the sub starts moving VERY little and the sounds just kinda poofs. No real BOOM or loudness. Now this might be dependent upon the box. I tuned it to about 31-32 htz. I played tones and it moves the least at a 31 htz tone, so yeah. I realize that it moves less in this range b/c it is nearing the tuning freq and the sub's beginning to "unload." But why does the volume decrease so much? The box i…

well like the title says im going to be getting two more arsenal 15's i have two already I AM A need help with box design the four will be going in a 4 door 96 tahoe. you dont have to tell me how they will sound i already know.

I know you guys do not check the forums very often, but I've sent a few emails and I know that you guys are super busy, so I just wanted to ask here of the off chance on of you checks it. I sent in my AA Havoc 15 to get repaired and got it back good as new (excellent service btw). But I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what went wrong with it, as we were never able to figure it out. Not just "mech issue" or "thermal issue," I am wondering what actually went wrong so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for the great service and sub guys!

Does anybody have the original sealed enclosure size recommendation and the driver cutout diameter for the Avalanche 12"? I found the 15" and 18" info through search and on their archive website but can't find the 12" info. Thanks in advance!

I'm really don't know how to go about planning a subwoofer box from scratch. I used to start with the calculator for plans on subwoofertools.com, but that website just went poof. Now I don't know what to do... My dimensions are 17 high x 17 deep x 37 wide... tuning needs to be 33htz... I will add a second baffle and bracing, but we'll just used those dimensions for simplicity... If there is anyone out there than can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I have a pair of AA Chaos 10's, in about 2.3 cubes net. I was wondering if one 4 inch Aero was enough. I may do dual 3 inch ports, but if I step up to 6 inch, it has to be longer than the box.

Is the mayhem louder then the btl??? How much are the mayhems? And last do they have options like the btls?
