So I ordered my subwoofer after a summer of saving finally. Anyway I never got a UPS tracking number email. It's been 17 day since my order has been sent in along with my money being accepted. Just wondering if I understood what they meant about it. Do I get it when they actually ship my subwoofer or after my order was placed? Thanks for the help guys

They will be available shortly, 3" coil 750w woofer. This is 16 of them in the green truck with ~200 watts (if that) a piece. Sorry for the quality of the video, just got the phone that I could make a video with.

Shipped my n2 motor to fi. It was delivered and signed for July 20th. One month later, 5 emails to fi... nothing. I have been very patient and very polite. Could I please have an update?

It's been about 2 weeks now and when I check the status, it still says being processed. How long should I be expecting to wait for this kit?

Ok so today my dual 1 SSD 18 stopped working for seemingly no reason during very low volume music. The sub is not frozen. I checked the sub with a battery and it did nothing, checked all wires etc. etc. I will check the coils on my multimeter when I get to work tomorrow. The box is build to the specs of the sub 7cu.ft. @ 32hz. Powered with a Fosgate t1500-bd (2ohms and very conservative gain). The coils look normal to me, not black or even dark in any way. Sub doesn't and never did smell like burnt coils. I'm thinking the coil's glue failed. I'm stumped on this really as I've been good to this sub and only had it for a few months. I have tried to get ahold of someone from Fi since apiril i have recieved one email back asking if he had helped me yet at the beginning of june. I have sent email after email and i have yet to get a reponse since then. i need to order a recone for a 18" n3 7 spider with sp4 basket. i am hoping someone on here will be about to help me out, i wish i would of waited the extra months and got a normal basket so i could order recones normally. i would go ahead and order normal baskets with recones but pending 65$ a piece extra right now and having to buy 2 recones instead of one isnt an option. thanks -getloud

My new SP4 18 reads 2.2 ohm on both coils Fluke Dmm leads touched it reads 0.1 the Sub reads 2.3 ohm Craftsman DMM leads Touched it reads 0.0 the sub reads 2.2 Cheap harbor freight meter leads touched it reads 0.1 The sub reads 2.2 My other two SP4's Both read 1.4 ohm. I have been waiting on a response from FI Car audio. I Hope they come through and fix this. Anyone have this issue too?

Hi, I have a strange issue that seems to be getting worse. Ill start from when I think it happened. My friend and I built a 4CF box for 2 FI SSD tuned to 30HZ. When we put the box in my cobalt I noticed that the wire terminals were upside down. I didnt care at the time I was just wanted it done for the time being. This was back in 2010. A few weeks later I decided to have my other buddy help me remove the box and put it in the right way.and reposition the subwoofers so that the labels looked the right way. When I was reorienting the subs I unhooked one completly to show my buddy,turns out when I hooked it up I wired the coils out of phase. I didnt know until I was on my w…

Just purchased a new in crate 18" btl with the ufo style motor.is there a way i can tell if it has the daily use or spl option?? The sub is EXTREMLY stiff.. I looked on the inside to see wat it said in maker on the former but all it said was dual 2 btl 18 fc. I hope its the daily lol im gona need to sell it if its the spl option unfortanantly.. any input would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Ok I've never put any sound in any of my cars in the past. I went out one night with friends I was able to ride in an SUV with a decent set-up (from what I experienced) and that got me interested. I have a 30-40min ride to work each day and my OEM speakers are going out so I've been doing my research... From what I've read Fi subs have been given great reviews and the only complaints are due to the lead time on getting them. The set up (in my friend's SUV) that I liked was 2 10" JL w7s in a ported box on a 500w JL amp from what I was told. I prefer sound quality over loudness and won't be going crazy loud. I just looked at my woofers, and noticed the "Chrome Red Fi" is coming off the cone. It isn't peeling from the edge (like at tip of the F or I as if something peeled it back) It is coming from the middle part of the logo as it bends over the dust cap. It almost seems like the foil-ish vinyl is flexible enough to follow the curve of the dust cap? I think standard vinyl would have been fine? Anyway, anyone else have any issues like this? Is it possible to get replacement logo stickers for the dust caps?

Hi all, I have built two 120 L cabinets two drivers per box in a dual opposed configuration (drivers facing out) I have been told that the std Qts drivers can sound peaky ? Can someone explains to me the term PEAKY. I have four Fi Q 15" first two orderd was dual 1 ohm but the second set I orderd later was dual 2 ohm so I will be having these changed back to dual 1 ohm as this suits my inuke amps. So it it worth having all my drivers changed to High Qts or is there not much difference between them ?? Thanks for any input

I purchased a 15" Q back in 2009 and the cooling portion "blew" out of the sub, cracking/destroying the dustcap in the process. I have repaired the sub but still need a dustcap! Any help? I have tried to order one on the website but cannot find an option to do so... thanks for any help guys.

i was thinking of getting a BTL n2 15'', an ported box from this website: http://www.klausaudi...oofer-boxes.php , im not sure what amp im getting but something like a 2000W-2200W, then im getting new battery, big 3, and a high output alternator (250 amps), also im currently looking for new navigational system and speakers. i have a 2005 cadillac escalade esv so i got plenty of room. i was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the amp and speak system. i just need some decent speakers and amp. also what would you recommend for box volume?

just kidding. but since your here... what are some good brands of speakers for my lade (escalade) (6 1/2 inch) also getting fi btl 18''
