I entered the first carshow in Labuan Malaysia with 2 15Q powered with 2 Revo 1500.1 amp. It was supposed to be a car audio show (that was what I have been told) where lots of insallter and shops joined to show their gear. got my FI bl 18" metered today @ 141.1 db on music with a single stock battery. i dropped down to about 137.0 db within 10-15 secs. will a second battery give me a lesser or greater then a 141.1 db? going to fix box as well. (baffle,bracing, rounding off, ect.)

im lookin into buyin an fi bl, and i have an RF T10001bd amp rated at 1486 watts at 1 ohm, would this be enough power for a daily BL if it is wat options should i consider?? i was thinkin get just the cooling (i also got a kicker zx1500.1 rated at 1706 watts at 2 ohms, and i would get the sub loaded w/out extreme leads) thanks

I had an accident with my sx15 with dual 2's. And want a price quote for a recone. I'm not sure why but in my particular install the sx15 was .5 dbs louder than a FI Audio Bl15 with p chamfer, dual 2's, daily, and custom coils. So what I am wondering is if I buy the recones from you all can I be sure that it will still be as loud as the original SX or louder? If so how much for the recones and how long will it take to receive them? Thanks in advance for any help.

well originaly i was gonna get a BLT fully loaded for daily driving.. BUT NOW im not sure if i should run a BL or the BTL... ive heard of people running the BLs more for daily.... heres what i got a RF amplifier benched at 1,620watts RMS at 1ohm.... and only running a single 12inch sub. currently im running a 12inch REaudio SX sub BUT............ it overheats and STINKS if i pump it to much... which i know IS BAD!!!!!! and well i KNOW im overpowering that sucker.LOL since its only rated at 1K watts. and well iwant more bass but still good SQ cause my subwoofer setup is front firing into the cabin and i drive it DAILY! which would you guys think would be the BEST DAILY DRI…

I was planning on purchasing a fully loaded 15'' btl and wanted to know if I could get a couple suggestions on what amp I should purchase. I'm looking at the 2-Channel XXV Colossus (1 x 3200-Watts....Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms)-$660.00 or the hifonics BXi 2006D (2000-Watt x 1 RMS @ 1-Ohm)-$314.00 or the memphis mojo 16-MC2000D (RMS Power 2 ohm (Watts) 2000 x 1 @13.8V)-$880.00 or the Sound Streem PCA3500D PICASSO ( 3500W x 1 @ 1 ohm)-$480.00. The reason I ask because I've only had experience with the memphis amp and was impressed but as you can see its alot more expensive then the other amps that put up similar numbers. I was flippin through the new issue of Truckin and had to ask this. why is it that in all these magazines, with these amazing trucks, the subs in the bed of the truck point towards the tailgate. I am assuming cause they do this there may not be a blowthrough, never really could tell. even if there was, what would be the point of pointin the subs this way? is it just show?

well if someone could pm me with a price on reconeing a 18 to a 15 and part two is it possiable to fit 2 btl15's in a box 36wx30 or less deepx20h with a interchangeable port one at around 45-50hz and one at low to mid 30hz. Couple quick and dumb questions. This is my first SQ vehicle and I am not sure about a couple things. I know I will be going with Q's, keep hearin these things are amazin. For SQ, what is better, sealed or ported. I was thinkin about maybe 2 12's or 4 10's. any input is good though. I want something that can possibly give me the opportunity for little competitions.

Anybody have any sealed number for a Q? Preferably a 15. FI's site says that the Q is made for good SQ and output in a sealed box; but everyone I see puts it in a ported box and gives numbers that way. Even The Great 12" Challenge by on ROE only tested the Q in a ported box. I don't get it. -C

P chamfer, cooling, flatwind, Hixm Coil, 3rd magnet ..... etc When are they necessary? ... anybody have pics to go along with it? I'm interested in buying a loud setup probably 2-12" BL's that still maintain a little sq TIA

Finally got around to videoing my 15" Fi SSDs once I got them proper power.. Am running them off of 1600 watts now.. They are in a 8ft^3 net enclosure tuned to 33hz.. You can tell how they slaughter the lows from the videos..The flex is still much more noticeable in person than it is in the videos.. These dudes move some air! First show with the BL18's finally playing in the wall, didnt do dbdrag, but managed a 148.3 for bass race....I was pretty happy considering we still havent done any testing on it Lots of work to do yet, the baffle (5 layers thick) was still flexing like a mofo, so we def. need some bracing. Still have to tune the wall as well, woofers getting a little warm and smelly :-) Love the subs, def seeing a 150+ bass race in the near future!! I'll try and post pics soon...

Just stopping by to say hello its my first post over here and im making it because i have two packages coming to my door in 2 days Its two 12" SSDs cant wait to get them installed even though i think im underpowering them a bit (running em off of a zx1500.1) They should destroy my 2 12" CVR! even though im disappointed that my original shipping date got moved back from today to the 15th im still pleased with FI cause i know they make em well thats all the talking im doing for now till next time
