Hi i was wondering if anybody out there know what would be a better subwoofer, i own a t215d2 rockford fosgate paid 450 for it sound really good , i was tinking of getting another sub but i wasnt sure if to get another t215d2 since ive been told that they are overpriced this guy sugested me a fi bl 15 fully loaded price is 344 shipped, but im now sure do u guys think that the fi bl15 can keep up with my t2 if not please list some brand and models aout ther that could thanks :Touched by NDMstang65: Sorry if this looks choppy guys, but i merged all of his threads into this one. If I'm not getting enough (12v) through my remote wire, how do I fix it? HU ground? I'm only getting 11.8-11.9

I will be building a box for 2 18" BTLs in a Tahoe. The subs will point up of course, but what about the port. Should I port up or back? I am not to sure as this is my first build for an SUV. I have heard back before, but have seen some greats like Meade do both and am unsure myself. Lastly, do you think this setup will hit real hard. Lookin for some pretty high numbers, as is everyone probably is though.

How much does it weight? Trying to design specifics of the box and I want to know if I should get screws or bolts. At what weight would bolts be a better choice?

Well this past week i finally finished up my install so i thought i would post a few pics now and ill upload the rest later on. So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? Hello! Im thinking bout having a Q or a Bl 15! I want to use it daily with 1250watts@1ohm! Which one will be louder (im not that sq man lol ) Im listening to dirty south hip hop(because off the nice low frequencies) Also i want to know how many liters the enclosures will have (as well for the 18Q or Bl). Okay I just recieved my two 12" SSD with copper coils about a week ago. I purchased a very large sheet of mdf yestarday so I'm set with wood. I also just purchased a US AMPs XT4000D so I am also set on power. This is my first time building a box. I am going to be putting the box in the bed of my avalanche so I have a boat load of room. I was going to tune to about 32 or 33 Hz and do 2.5 cubes per sub. This box will be ported. If someone could provide me with diminsions that would be awesome!!! or even a plans. My friend who is going to be helping me build the box (he has experience building boxs) said he will help me. Thanks a lot if any of yall could help me!!!!!

a couple videos i took of a guy with the screenname "headshok" from my forums. He lives in Singapore........he came all the way to Nor Cal to check out the Tahoe for himself. i gave him a ride in the Hoe and the Civic... Very friendly, funny guy....... The Tahoe demo The Civic demo my admin wasnt awake when i finished editing the vids so Youtube will have to do until i get it on my video page......no problem though these vids get the point across

im kinda mad about my first run score for my loaded BTL 15 its runnen off about 1200 watts right now and my amp can max 1600 i have a stock ALT. (80 amps) now but my new 200 amp alt on the way! its 4.1 cubes with two 4"flared ports on the side tuned to 35hz FIRST with a 137.1 NOW tuned to 40 with a 139.2 MAX i have NO room for a bigger box! any suggestions? Porting? will the new alt. help tremendously or just very little?

Is there a posibility to run these in sealed? There is an old comment about testing this in sealed and wanted to know what the results are if any?

im doing an install in a 2000 expedition im going to use a MM1400D and a MM100.4, the budget is kinda tight since he wants to spend $1000 for everything. it's going to be for everyday use only and never see a mic. should i run 4 kicker cvr 10's or one 12" Q ported? and why?

So I have been sittin here planning out my next system almost to a T, when the thought pops in my head, maybe I should find out the competition rules and types of competitions there are before I do any major planning. Does anyone have any ideas or sites I can hit up to find out the various competitions and rules regarding these comps? My last plan was a F150 with shell on the bed. I was gonna do a wall with 4 18" BTLs, allowing the box to take up some room in the bed. I was probably gonna port front as well, but have some templates and planning to do first. Is there even a competition for such vehicle or do i need to go back to the drawing board. 4 18" BTL's not sure …

Can a BL 15 handle 1000 watts rms on music for 10 to 15 min at a time with just p chamfer, Daily?? I need to know asap so I can place my order. In a 3ft3 enclosure tuned to 48hz.

What I have now: 2006 toyota corrolla Cadence TXA1000D (1000rms @ 1 ohm) I have about 6.5ft^3 airspace before driver and port displacement I want one ported sub ( a 15" or prefferably an 18" if I have enough airspace after port and driver displacement) I'm undecided whether to go with SSD, Q, or BL with my airspace and power. This will be for a daily driver with an occasional trip to local competitions for fun, so a little on the SPL side. Any help would be greatly appreciated Beau

so i noticed a lot of you on here are very well educated when it comes to systems in cars (ie doing it yourself). where/how did ya'll learn all this stuff? was it just trial and error pretty much? reason i ask cause i really would like to learn and dont have enough time to go to a school for it. read two "eh" books but want tons more info and want to learn more.

I want to order two BL 15's, I'm not sure about the options (some, Not all). I have tried contacting FI by email 4 times and have gotten no response. Scott or Shawn please get in touch with me soon.
