How goes it guys. It has been quite awhile since I have last posted anything or had any questions. Well, 2 weeks ago I got in a car accident with stupid tourist who was slightly drunk. My poor Silverado was toasted along with everything in it. The only thing that really lived was my head unit...sigh, it was junk anyway. So, needless to say, this morning I got a brand new 08 Silverado...thanks to my insurance and the threat of a law suit against the guy. Anyway, I wanted to try something a little different, but am not entirly sure. So, before I start asking questions, here are my goals. I wanna get fairly loud but sound good doing it. I am not talking about all out…

Are these parameters taken on the subs when they are freshly new or taken when the suspension has loosened up? And I am referring to Fi subs.

A year or so ago, I sent a Crossfire XT motor into Scott for a recone and he was unable to find a coil that would work for daily bumping. Anyhow, I ended up purchasing two BL's that same week and basically told Scott whatever on finding a coil for the XT motor. So my question is; Where is that motor now? lol Let me know if Scott still has it, because I wants it! Thanks, Matt

had some broken tinsel leads on a btl. no warranty on these subs, im the 3rd owner, sub was even reconed by someone else before i bought it, and damage had all evidence that looked like user error on my part (which wasnt but i can guarantee you kicker, RF, eclipse etc would use this to save on warranty costs etc) and yet Scott STILL sent me 4 brand new tinsels for the BTL. no cost to me, no shipping cost....nothing. Scott gives a **** about his customers :fyi: -George ps scott and the fi crew: ive told everyone that i know that is into car audio about you. and i have bought 2 18's bl's and have gotten my buddy to buy 2 as well. i have no intention of straying from Fi prod…

First, should i get the 2ohm build and wire it down to 1ohm? Or get the 1ohm build? Also,I will be getting a sundown amp, but which one? I think the 1500 will serve it's purpose, won't it?

okay so this maybe a dumb question...but not about to through 260 out the window. just got my Q 12 and the outer layer for the screw holes consists of the surrounding rubber with holes through it, a botttom layer with hole, and a top layer with-OUT hole. i assume i just punch through the top layer with the screw? I know i read this in here somewhere else in someones post but i cant recall what it said and i can't locate it now. thanks in advance kind of eager to begin my upgrade from a flame 1206t to this beast. yeah i bought audiobahn...i was young and dumb.

well starting to think of a set up for next year going to maybe wall off the bug. Not sure if I want to go with 2 BTL18 with 2500RMS each or 2 15BTL on the same power. I compete in street beat and with 1 btl18 I do 145 but want a little more. With the 2 15's I would stay in the same class and should be louder box would end up at around 12-16cf before displacements. so from the experts here which would seem better I am leaning to the 15's. Is it possiable to recone a 18 to a 15 if I go to the 15's this would be nice.

Any chance that enough of these have been done that you guys could send out a recone kit or would I have to send the motor in? I am not happy with the power handling offered by the TC Sounds top assembly.

i am proud to say that i just placed my order for 2 - 12" Fi q subwoofers. i cant wait for them to arrive. i had 2 alpine type R subs hooked up to a 1000 watt hifonics monoblock amp. do you think these fi q subs will pound alot harder than the type R subs? The Q's will be powered by a brand new hifonics brutus amp rated at 2000 rms at 1 ohm. any comments or suggestions will be greatly appriciated.
