If I'm not getting enough (12v) through my remote wire, how do I fix it? HU ground? I'm only getting 11.8-11.9

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? Well this past week i finally finished up my install so i thought i would post a few pics now and ill upload the rest later on. This was my first attempt at a somewhat nicer audio system and damn did i learn a few things the hard way... lol. Here's a quick rundown of what all i did. 2 layers of deadener in trunk, doors and floor Optima yellowtop up front Kinetic 2400 in back 220 amp alt by iraggi (dom was awesome, and i got my alt in just over a week) big 3 - knu 1/0 Eclipse CD7000 2 sets Hertz high energy 6.5 comps 2 FI 12" BL's loaded 2 sundown 1500 1 sundown 100/4 First box didnt fit as i was hoping to squeeze a bit more out of the trunk ...go figure. Ok, so I order a new loaded BTL 15 on July 5th...It I got it yesterday so it didnt take long at all(it actually made it in a day earlier than UPS said it would). I got it all installed and its everything I wanted it to be. I look inside of the box and......NO STICKERS!!! The last BTL I had didnt come with stickers either but I was jus like...ok ...whatever...I'll get some next time I get a sub. STILL NO STICKERS!!! Do you hate me Scott? I not really mad lol! But I want stickers next time!

hey whats up... well first i want to know how much do fi or scott charges to recone 2 re audio mt motors to some kind of 15 inch re audio mt/ fi btl sub. i have 2 mts well lets say motors i want them to be fi and well rep fi so i just want to know like a estimate to recone 2 subs to 15 inch with fi btl softparts. thanks

What I have now: 2006 toyota corrolla Cadence TXA1000D (1000rms @ 1 ohm) I have about 6.5ft^3 airspace before driver and port displacement I want one ported sub ( a 15" or prefferably an 18" if I have enough airspace after port and driver displacement) I'm undecided whether to go with SSD, Q, or BL with my airspace and power. This will be for a daily driver with an occasional trip to local competitions for fun, so a little on the SPL side. Any help would be greatly appreciated Beau

Okay I just recieved my two 12" SSD with copper coils about a week ago. I purchased a very large sheet of mdf yestarday so I'm set with wood. I also just purchased a US AMPs XT4000D so I am also set on power. This is my first time building a box. I am going to be putting the box in the bed of my avalanche so I have a boat load of room. I was going to tune to about 32 or 33 Hz and do 2.5 cubes per sub. This box will be ported. If someone could provide me with diminsions that would be awesome!!! or even a plans. My friend who is going to be helping me build the box (he has experience building boxs) said he will help me. Thanks a lot if any of yall could help me!!!!!

im doing an install in a 2000 expedition im going to use a MM1400D and a MM100.4, the budget is kinda tight since he wants to spend $1000 for everything. it's going to be for everyday use only and never see a mic. should i run 4 kicker cvr 10's or one 12" Q ported? and why?

a couple videos i took of a guy with the screenname "headshok" from my forums. He lives in Singapore........he came all the way to Nor Cal to check out the Tahoe for himself. i gave him a ride in the Hoe and the Civic... Very friendly, funny guy....... The Tahoe demo The Civic demo my admin wasnt awake when i finished editing the vids so Youtube will have to do until i get it on my video page......no problem though these vids get the point across

So I have been sittin here planning out my next system almost to a T, when the thought pops in my head, maybe I should find out the competition rules and types of competitions there are before I do any major planning. Does anyone have any ideas or sites I can hit up to find out the various competitions and rules regarding these comps? My last plan was a F150 with shell on the bed. I was gonna do a wall with 4 18" BTLs, allowing the box to take up some room in the bed. I was probably gonna port front as well, but have some templates and planning to do first. Is there even a competition for such vehicle or do i need to go back to the drawing board. 4 18" BTL's not sure …

Is there a posibility to run these in sealed? There is an old comment about testing this in sealed and wanted to know what the results are if any?

so i noticed a lot of you on here are very well educated when it comes to systems in cars (ie doing it yourself). where/how did ya'll learn all this stuff? was it just trial and error pretty much? reason i ask cause i really would like to learn and dont have enough time to go to a school for it. read two "eh" books but want tons more info and want to learn more.

I just took 1st in class two weeks in a row with one 12" BTL fully loaded doing a 142.2 coming out of the trunk of my car. I rebuilt my box to 45 Hz instead of 33 Hz and gained 1 DB I think that we are going to wall of my trunk to try and get another 3 to 5 DBs out of it. Is any one else going to world finals for USACI in Omaha Ne this year or will I have to be the only one that represents FI this year? Also let me know what you think about walling off a 300.

When i place my order, since I live in an apartment building, I was wondering if you can require signature confirmation so whoever you guys ship through doesnt just leave the sub sitting around the mail room or outside? this way if I'm not home, I can go pick it up and sign for it. thanks

i have tried to get ahould of somebody before i have had no luck.....i loved re then i got to fi and its discouraging to not be able to contact anybody.......all i have is a snapped tinsel lead and i was wondering about how i would go about sending it back to get fixed.....my local shop says either they cant fix it or if they can itll cost 175 and i know that some bs......i have to get this fixed asap cuz i have to do work at a bass comp in like 5 weeks.....i want everybody to find out what fi is about..... thank you Eric
