I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. The fs of the Q kind of makes me nervous, as the MASS was around 25 and the q is 34. My front stage consist of a DLS up6i set, being powered by an amp that is 150x2. Does the BL 10" have the same issue as the BTL 10"?

***Attention Fi Car Audio Staffs!*** This is a notice regarding the future ordering of two Fi BTL Subs. one 15" BTL (dual 2, cooling option, daily, universal) and one 18" BTL (dual 2, cooling, 3rd magnet, HiXmCoil, Daily, universal). Didn't know if this belonged on the tech page, so here goes. Just recently looked at the SSD 10 and 12". Looks to me they have the same power handling. Anyways Im currenty torn between the two of them. I know I would get 1 with a copper coil but thats it. I would like some more input on both, so I could get a better idea on which version would give me the results I want. Amp I have is an older Memphis 500D. Matt I'm also looking at the SoundSplinter rl-i10 if it matters any.

For 15" BLs what is the ideal box size? I know on the 12s it was 2.4 @ 32, which performed great. What about 15s though?

Hello all, Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone here for indirectly helping me choose my sub. I say indirectly because I haven't posted any questions, rather just took some time to look at everyone elses threads to find a listening style similar to mine. I ordered a 12" Q dual2 last wednesday and I got an e-mail saying that it will ship today.....can't wait! I already built a sealed box for it at around 1.3 cu.ft. I'll see how that sounds at first but have plenty of MDF left over if the need for a new enclosure arises. I will be powering it with a RF T5001bd. I have a tahoe and i was curious just to see what your opinions on my set up would be? I 'm looking to do 2 18'' ssd's, epicenter, my question is should i go with 2 old school punch 800's or a memphis mojo 2500? i'm looking to do 150-155 db

So I have been checkin out his posts and now I am curious. What would be "louder" in an overall sense....4 10" Q's sealed or 2 12" Q's ported. I have no exp what so ever with sealed enclosures and would like to know the answer to this. I know the 10's win with overall surface area, but will the ported cause much more SPL than the 4 10's? Any advice on this would be great cause I have been thinkin about it for quite some time now and it is driving me nuts. Side Note: Probably use a RF4000.1 to 4 10's or Kicker2500.1 or such for 2 12's. THANKS
