Some of you might've seen my scores before. I have 2 12 BTLs in a 4.2 cube box tuned to 33 hz. I'm running the AQ 3500.1. My burp score is currently at 142.7 (2 batts) at 38 hz in my 02 Camry. The score seems alright for a trunk car, especially at that frequency. Well I clamped my amp, car was on this time with 3 batts. My rise is from 1.0 ohms to 4.5 ohms and I only clamped a little over 1,000 watts out of my amp. So for my 142.7 run, it's probably a safe guess to say it was only around 800-900 watts. In conclusion, I'm more satisfied with my score now seeing on how little power I'm using. Sucks that my rise is so bad.. But.. GO BTLs!

I bought 2 fi bl 12s on feb 20 and still still never receive them. Just was wondering how long suppose to take? By the way i live in hawaii if that make any difference.

Hey guys, i have a question about box size for the BL. I have an 18" BL fully loaded and its going to be going into the trunk of a 1995 Honda Accord Sedan. Currently, the box is mounted horizontally because I needed to do that to get the minimum size of 5 cu ft. However, after taking up the entire trunk in my car and having the subwooferer horizontal. I'm wondering what the minimum size you guys could see? I'm hoping to still keep it ported somewhat low...at around 32hz or so. I realize this goes against all of hoffman's Iron Law and what not, but what are your guys best ideas for this? I'll sum it up for you: Current Box: Subwoofer mounted horizontal 5 cu ft box @ 29Hz…

Fi BL 15" w/ cooling option only... rockford t1500 or sundown saz1500d which will last longer? which puts out more power?

Hey so i jsut bought a dvc 2ohm 15q. Now i was wondering if the gauge of wire i run inside the box to the sub matters? I have some 8 guage wire layign around but the spring terminals on the subwoofer itself will not hold 2x 8 guage wires which would be necissary to wire the sub to .7ohm. ..... http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/learning...mpedance=DVC2x2 If anyone knows if i can use liek 12 guage or like 16 guage for this let me know, or if you have any ideas of how i can get two 8 guage wires into the spring terminal.

I hate to start a post like this. I have already emailed you regarding my order. I ordered an fi btl 18in. and i got the dual2. I need it changed to the dual1 considering the amps i picked up only do full power a 2ohms. Once again sorry for the hassle, but i figured since it hasnt started being made it shouldnt be to big of a deal.

why does it on every single Subwoofer on the Fi website it says N/A for the sealed box size

Hey guys my buddy has a Fi 15inch fully load btl sub dvc 1ohm and he was wondering: "does the btl have a universal motor option? Fully loaded yes, but i'm thinking of getting it reconed to a dual 2" i guess he wants to run it as a duel 2ohm! i guess he wants to run it down to 1ohm rather then .5 or 2ohm load for his amp! I was flippin through the new issue of Truckin and had to ask this. why is it that in all these magazines, with these amazing trucks, the subs in the bed of the truck point towards the tailgate. I am assuming cause they do this there may not be a blowthrough, never really could tell. even if there was, what would be the point of pointin the subs this way? is it just show?

the BL costs $244 and it will be shipped to anaheim ca. i just want to make sure about the cost, will the $244 be the total cost? or will there be addt'l payment needed?

my customer have 2 FI BL 15 on a 2.8 cubes each box tune @ 41hz using 2 4inch round port. each enclosure. we did a 148.4db on TL.the car was a toyota rav4. sub up port rear position. any idea how to gain it's db? i'll post pictures later.

hey guys, im currently running a 10" MTX 8500 series sub with a JL Audio 500/1 amp, in a Pro Box. Its already pretty loud, but i dont think the sub would last that much longer, i was listening to a couple songs on the the way home from work and when i was a block or two away from my house i smelled something funny, went home and popped my trunk and the smell was coming from the sub, the cone was pretty warm from only 10mins of music and i had the volume at 14 on my alpine headunit. The sub is rated 500watts rms, and thats what the amp put out or a little more, but i didnt know it could heat up that much. Im looking to sticking to a 10" sub if possible since the box wasnt …

I RLLY neeed help i just hooked up my brutus to my fi ssd 18 and all its doing is go thud thud thud thud thud thud thud nonstop kinda quickly with no music bass coming from it idk wtf is wrong with it if i take the RCA out it stops please help.... i hooked it before and it worked fine but someoone broke into my car and ripped everything out but they caught them and i got it all back so idk just any suggestions

Ok My max dimensions are 15" x 36"x 22" these total up to have an external dimension of 7.18 cu ft and I come up with internal dimensions of 13.5" x 34.5" x 21.5" that comes out to 5.79 cu ft internally I want 32 hz tuning so I came up with a port of 4" x 13.5" x 22" This enclosure is for 2 FI qs with the bp power option once I sell my beloved ssds of course. I am looking to do subs facing my trunk lid and the port unloading to the side with a flair of course so please somebody help me to let me know these numbers are correct and what is the total sq inches for the port.

Just to give you guys an idea of a score these can put up... 142.5 outlaw on a Hifonic BXI1206d, stock electric, 4 gauge wire. Done in a 1988 Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon. Box was 3.75ft^3. 46Hz. Burp done at 48 Hz. Being it was my first even I got nervouse on the sweep and screwed that, so had no peak freq yet. So Being as my peak was 46 in my old Subaru wagon with a different box I figured it could be round abouts there. At 140ish Dbs my CD player started to skip, so I was stuck rolling the volume and capped at 142.5. Only imagine if I knew my peak and the CD player didnt skip . Just thought I would post the score. which amp will push a BL 12" sub? a sundown 1000D or sundown 1500?
