Still paying off the past unsucessful attempt to get a decent substage in my truck. I am going to try the following: 2x 12" Fi Q DVC 1-Ohm AQ 2200d Amplifier(2200w@1-Ohm) ...in this box. Roughly about 1.6ft^3 in each chamber after subwoofer displacement. Sealed. Total Volume = 3.52ft^3. Housing two 12" Fi Q DVC 1 - .16ft^3 Subwoofer Displacement. Whatcha guys think? Its going behind the seat.

I am getting my new FI Q 12" on Tuesday and want to have everything set up and ready to go when it comes so I can hook it up and go without fiddling with settings on amp or cd player. I need to tune my amp and will not take it to a shop to get charged for something I can do. My question is how to properly tune my amp without an oscilliscope, or hooking my sub up. I want to be able to somewhat tune it with the sub unhooked as I want to properly break the sub in and cannot do that by tuning my amp with the sub hooked up. Once I have the sub broke in, then I will fine tune my amp to the sub w/ it hooked up, but until then how will I have it tuned pretty close w/ hooking …

has anyone ever done a horn shaped port, where its wide at the baffle then gets narrower towards the back of the enclosure.....just curious if anyone has done this in a wall....

So I've been bumping two American Bass XD 10's powered by a mmats 1400.1 amp. I think I just burned up one of the subs so I obviously want to replace. I want something louder. My system hit 153.2db and that's with two 10's. I like American Bass's products but the VFL's are 1500wrms each and I don't want to buy another amp. I'm looking at the Fi subs and specifically the IB3 12's. Anybody have them? They're 50wrms each more then XD's (500wrms each). The amps 1400wrms @ 1 ohm so I don't want anything that's more then 650wrms each. Reccomend another sub? Thanks =)

I'm thinking of going with a 15" Q for these, powered by a Sundown SAZ-1000D So I've been messing with the RE calculator and think I have come up with a couple of designs. I just want to make sure all the numbers are right on these and see some opinions on which one is better. I like the first one more, sub up port back, does that design output well? How do you make the horizontal and vertical 45's come together smoothly? Also, would the first box fit a 15" BL? I know the second one doesn't have the airspace for a BL which is another reason I like the first one. How long does it usually take for turn around on emails? I've sent one to the sales and recone emails for Fi over a week ago and haven't heard anything. hello, just trying to get some input, use to bass race a few years back, then "lost" all my stuff, so i'm now finally getting back into it. This will be strictly a dd set-up/bass racer. Tell me what you think, input is much appreciated. My set-up consists of the following: 2001 Chevy blazer Alpine 9857 200amp HO alt Big 3 done in 1/0 optima yellow top under the hood (3) kinetik 2400's in the back (2)Fully loaded BTL 15's (2)Audioque 2200d's strapped at 2 ohms 9.5 cubic ft. net crx style using 3 6" aero ports tuned around 34hz Does this sound like a good setup? I know more about the cutting. that is fine. But say I want to do a massive wall. how do I account for flex between the bed and the cab. I would bring it into the cab just an inch and baffle it inside the cab. will it be ok or will there be too much flex.This will be a FULL cut through. window and all. I hear the boot the fits between the cab and bed/shell is EXPENSIVE. how much are we talking? just an est. 200? or 1000?

I was wondering the full weight of the 18 BTL with all of the options added?

Say I made a 4 cubic foot box put a BL15 inside with 1500watts rms, then used the same box popped in a BTL15 in the same box with 3000watts rms. Would the BTL be much louder. I'm a little confused to how much watts make a difference in car audio, everytime someone asks if they should go for 1 powerful sub, or 2 less powered subs, people always vote for the 2 subs due to cone area. Would the btl make you feel and hear noticably more bass then the bl with my given senario?

Alright they don't answer E- Mails at the sight. I'm wondering if my purchase is going to be this way? I will soon be ordering 1 of 2 BTL 18's and want it to go smoothly. It should money talks right?...lol I want D1's, daily, no 3rd magnet, and where does the cooling cancel the other out? Just choose the chamfer right?
