I'm wondering when to order my 15" SSD. I want to order it after Christmas I figured just wait until the 29th, the Monday after Christmas. ???

ordered my 12" BL tuesday 11-27 and the UPS man delivered it this past thursday 12-06 i must say that was rather quick, and the sub was packaged great! :beer: for all those who had part in getting my new baby here safely... guys at Fi, UPS, everyone lol

I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. The fs of the Q kind of makes me nervous, as the MASS was around 25 and the q is 34. My front stage consist of a DLS up6i set, being powered by an amp that is 150x2. Hey guys my buddy has a Fi 15inch fully load btl sub dvc 1ohm and he was wondering: "does the btl have a universal motor option? Fully loaded yes, but i'm thinking of getting it reconed to a dual 2" i guess he wants to run it as a duel 2ohm! i guess he wants to run it down to 1ohm rather then .5 or 2ohm load for his amp! Hello all, Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone here for indirectly helping me choose my sub. I say indirectly because I haven't posted any questions, rather just took some time to look at everyone elses threads to find a listening style similar to mine. I ordered a 12" Q dual2 last wednesday and I got an e-mail saying that it will ship today.....can't wait! I already built a sealed box for it at around 1.3 cu.ft. I'll see how that sounds at first but have plenty of MDF left over if the need for a new enclosure arises. I will be powering it with a RF T5001bd. I RLLY neeed help i just hooked up my brutus to my fi ssd 18 and all its doing is go thud thud thud thud thud thud thud nonstop kinda quickly with no music bass coming from it idk wtf is wrong with it if i take the RCA out it stops please help.... i hooked it before and it worked fine but someoone broke into my car and ripped everything out but they caught them and i got it all back so idk just any suggestions

What other subs does the SSD compare too??? Just wondering what subs from other companies are comparable to the SSD. A friend of mine who i'm tring to get hooked on fi was asking me...any input would be appreciated.

So i recently bought a basic Q 12 and thouroughly enjoy it. i have a mono ma audio amp that runs at 800 rms. Question is ... would it be beneficial to upgrade the amp? could possibly get a deal on last years brutus 1206d or look for something different. dont think i could swing a sundown. what rms would you run a q 12 at?

ok i know im going to buy a couple 12" but which should i take im between the BL and the Q. i need some advice. ok ive got two DB DRIVE PLATINUM PD1200.1 and they are strappable. so id be getting around 2000 rms i want to be loud and still be able to sound good and pick up lows. i will be building the enclosure my self at about 4.5 cubes tunes to 32Hz. any input will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

I already have a set of cdt cl61A's and tw24's amped with a RF 4002 with a 4 gauge kit from kk installed, and am going to get my SSD shortly. I need to know what kit to go with for the next install. Do you think I'd be fine with 4 gauge or do I need to go with a 2 or 1/0 kit? Thanks

Fi BL 15" w/ cooling option only... rockford t1500 or sundown saz1500d which will last longer? which puts out more power?

I have a blown 19Ov.2 Is it possible to get a recone for this motor??? The VC is 2.5" I'd like to recone it down to a 12 or a 10 if possible. Thanks

Alright so I'm making my first system, I have a 15" BL and a T1500-1bd. I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my alternator. I just bought a optima yellow top, but I noticed some people tend to have an extra battery for the sub would I need one?
