So i recently bought a basic Q 12 and thouroughly enjoy it. i have a mono ma audio amp that runs at 800 rms. Question is ... would it be beneficial to upgrade the amp? could possibly get a deal on last years brutus 1206d or look for something different. dont think i could swing a sundown. what rms would you run a q 12 at?

I've got 2 x 18in BL's going into a wall and was wondering how big to make the port. The way it sits now, there's about 10.5 cu per sub. How much port/port area should i have. It is for daily booming and bass race.

After applying ca glue and forming to basket, how long do you let it sit? How many clamps do you use to get best results? Any other procedures that you've used that yield really good results?

Hello everyone, ok Im planning on ordering 4 Q15s for my pt cruiser, it will be a single sealed box with 2 subs facing up and 2 subs facing foward, how does this setup sound? Will it effect sound quality or overall output, also there be 2 seperate chambers with 2 subs in each chamber, or should I go for 1 chamber for each sub? thanks..........Brian

I was interested in purchasing the BL 12 subwoofer with all additional options. I currently drive a Honda Civic 2 door and don't have a lot of trunk space to work with, specifically 16" height X 32" depth X 30"+ inches of width. I wanted to know what the smallest possible enclosure dimensions could be for a ported box, with the box tuned at 33 hz with roughly 2 cubic feet. I am planning on running a Kenwood X1200M, which is 1200 watts @ 2 ohms, which should be sufficient for the sub, right? Also, is there an advantage in running my sub at 2 ohms instead of 1? Specific dimensions and instructions would be appreciated as I am a rookie in the field of car audio. Thanks.

Hi everyone i got my fi bl15 today. i just finished taking out my t215 rockford out of the enclosure and puting my fibl15 in, same amp same everything but different sub was used, results were, both subs sounded same to my hearing, great sub fi i played the same songs i play everyday and i tought as if i had my t215 rockford in the trunk but it was my fibl15, well everyone i just wanted to let you know that both subs are really loud like i said very similar on how loud they can get.

Well I received my recone today and its the right model, but wrong impedance. I asked for a dual 1 and you shipped me a dual 2 Q 15. I posted on the forum as soon as I received my tracking # as it looked like the wrong ref. # because it said D2. I don't know what else I could have done to try to prevent this from happening. This is really rediculous that you guys can't get this right. Simple logistics starting from your ordering to your picking/shipping can't be done correctly. I wanted RE and a friend told me about Fi and I must admit the price is a lot cheaper. I want to know if you have a 5X Fi shirt available. Finally got around to videoing my 15" Fi SSDs once I got them proper power.. Am running them off of 1600 watts now.. They are in a 8ft^3 net enclosure tuned to 33hz.. You can tell how they slaughter the lows from the videos..The flex is still much more noticeable in person than it is in the videos.. These dudes move some air! Just built my enclosure for my 12 that is going to arrive on tuesday. Vented box is 2.48 cu ft tuned to 32.2hz question is which side of the face should i place the sub in? furthest from the vent possible, in the middle, near the vent? I havent cut out the hole yet, so i figured ide ask while i have time also, how much volume will the sub consume so that i know exactly how much cu/ft i am working with? little interested to hear the sub, every thread i keep reading tells people to buy the BL if you want any kind of spl. Im not going for spl at all, i just enjoy loud low bass with no intention to compete. Beginning to think maybe i should have opted for the BL instead..…

Couple quick and dumb questions. This is my first SQ vehicle and I am not sure about a couple things. I know I will be going with Q's, keep hearin these things are amazin. For SQ, what is better, sealed or ported. I was thinkin about maybe 2 12's or 4 10's. any input is good though. I want something that can possibly give me the opportunity for little competitions.

Alright so I'm making my first system, I have a 15" BL and a T1500-1bd. I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my alternator. I just bought a optima yellow top, but I noticed some people tend to have an extra battery for the sub would I need one?
