What are the ID, OD, and WW of the old 2 stack, old 3 stack, and the single slug BTL coils? Both the D1 and D2 of each.

Ok I've never put any sound in any of my cars in the past. I went out one night with friends I was able to ride in an SUV with a decent set-up (from what I experienced) and that got me interested. I have a 30-40min ride to work each day and my OEM speakers are going out so I've been doing my research... From what I've read Fi subs have been given great reviews and the only complaints are due to the lead time on getting them. The set up (in my friend's SUV) that I liked was 2 10" JL w7s in a ported box on a 500w JL amp from what I was told. I prefer sound quality over loudness and won't be going crazy loud. I was wondering how a Fi Q12" sub would perform in a 4.2ft^3 enclosure tuned at 21hz? I would be giving 2 of them each in their own 4.2ft^3 enclosures 1000 watts each from a crown XLS2500 amplifier. Would this perform well or are their better sub options? They would have a subsonic filter at 21hz and then a LP at 80hz. My surround speakers can easily keep up with almost any sub combination out there considering I spent about $4,000 on DIY towers and DIY center channel alone... I hope this being a car audio forum it doesnt bother you guys me asking about home audio... I know a lot of guys using car subs for home theatre.

So I've emailed all three emails at Fi, and I can't message Nick so hoping to get a response here. I know I'm a broken record about this but ... I was reading some of your production process. It said the day after the order I should have gotten a UPS Tracking number. I ordered my recone march 5th. I emailed [email protected] a couple times after the initial time I was told of 12 to 15 business, being as its now April 1st, and I have got no tracking number, no email replies, and no recone. It was an AA Havoc 15 d2 to Mathew Gardewine. Wondering if I could get an update. Thanks, Mat

got a 15" BL and i bought a cadence amp kit and it came with 12 gauge speaker wire was wondering if that size would be okay or should i got alil bigger?

I purchased a new pair of 10" RE MT recones and the surround is about a full inch from the surround landing on my 12 spoke baskets. I've only seen RE MT subs built with 12 spokes so my question is are the recones faulty or are there different size 12 spoke baskets? Mine are just black 10" 12 spokes with the correct size spider landing (8.25 I believe) I e-mailed about this on wednesday and haven't received any response. Just want to know if i need new baskets or if i need to return the recones.

Does anyone have any news on the HT range from blueprint. There just doesn't seem to be any information or updates anywhere. Perhaps Nick can shed some light on this.

hey guys i need some help. i have a FI BL 15 fully loaded for daily for over a year now, never been pushed to it limit, running on about 1200watts, never turned the gain on the amp past the 75% ish mark and never had the receiver on max volume. it seems that some of the coppering windeings around the coil may have slightly seperated. the copper coil itself looks like brand new still not scorched at all from what i can see. i get no audio at all of the woofer , its just completly dead... : ( i loved that woofer too is there any reason y that would happen..? are there maybe any cheep fixes because unfortunatly i dont have the money to get a replacement at the moment. t…

Im going to get a Fi Q 12 dual 2 and was curious what options I should go for. I am powering it with a Sundown SAX-1200D parallel. Thinking about doing the big 3 upgrade I already have the 1/0 hyperflex but I have a new 2010 A4. Runing 8g from the battery to the trunk in the amp. Again, What options should I go for with a ported enclosure about 2.3 cubes.

How do you recommend to brake in the sub fib l 10?

I ordered a 2 ohm DVC sub but I need a 1 ohm DVC sub. My invoice # I-17666/00. I sent an email, but I know it takes a couple days to read them and I placed the order 2 days ago. I hope I'm lucky and it's still early enough to change. I apologize for my stupidity :/

I keep reading threads about people sending in there subs and waiting for a long period of time, as well as the outrageous shipping prices, just to get some recones. I'll post a video of a guy reconing a N2 for your better understanding of the process, but I recommend doing the process like how I describe (from Nick.) Part 1, watch all 5 parts. If I order the sx recone will it come with the 1.4 ohm coils? Also, if it does have the 1.4 ohm coils will it be a direct fit or will my motor need to be sent in to be modified? And does anybody know the t/s specs for the sx 18 recone because I can't seem to find it anywhere and I know it's not exactly the same as the sx 18? I have been competing in MECA for the last couple years, and due to the rule changes Im dropping out. So now Im headed back into a daily set up, no longer chasing numbers. I have both the ufo mag and n2 btl's and love both, I finally got a blazer and am looking for a just a monster daily system. Both my btl's are 12s, since I now have a blazer I will be looking at an 18. Question being....what would fit my bill better, going with a sp4 or just reconing one of my current btl's to an 18. Will be on a saz3500 with the proper electrical.

So im upgrading my system again, I first had 1 Q 15 sealed with the High qts option, then I wanted to go ported, so I bought another Q 15 with high QTS to be the exact same as the first sub. Im now going to rebuild my wall and run 4 FI Q 15s (later ill probably SP4s) the next 2 subs I get will have all the same options as the other 2 but should they still have High QTS since im running ported? I know high QTS is not optimum for vented enclosures, but should they all be the same when it comes to QTS?

My gf asked me what FI stood for yesterday because she knows SSA is for Sound solutions audio and AA is ascendent audio. got a big boner right now cant wait to get that beast in... igot the dual 1 flatwind,cooling,daily option... someone told me the d2 was better than the d1 just because the d1 has 1000rms and the d2 has 1500 how tru is that ? i know you got more wiring options with the d2 but it cant be that bad right?? anywho im going to be running at least 300 maybe 500rms over ,would you guy consider going over rated rms???
