Hey i have a bl 18 powered by a jl 1000/1. all electrical upgrades are done (upgrading soon) anyways the sub saw 750 watta at the most, it was not beat at all. The other day it cut off in the middle of a song. When i pulled it out i saw that one of the tinsel leads are broke. How would i go about fixing this? is it covered under warranty? would soldering work? Thanks for the help

car is a 02 cadillac deville, 1 15 d1 btl on strapped saz1500ds, subsonic all the way down to like 15, gain at a little lower than half. box is a chambered t line built by rich which i think is in the neighborhood if 30-36 hz tuning. i have a EQ with 8v preouts, HU is a max675vd. i think i need some guidance to set amps before i order a recone or try to replace the lead itself. volume on the hu 27 out 33... but the volume on the EQ is almost all the way up.

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? ok well i bought 2 subs a few months back and one of em ended up blowin. so i got scotts number and called him. he told me to send it in and theyd look at it and try n fix it. it has been about 2 months now since i sent it off and i havnt heard from them since. i have emailed scott and nick and ive tried calling scott and no answer what so ever. i understand they are busy but i would atleast think they could answer a phone. i mean seriously......2 months. hopefully one of them will answer me on here

just wanted to know wut kind of soldering gun you guys use to solder the tinsel leads on to the subs, im goin to recone my sub soon and i dont have a good soldering gun. and wut percent silver solder do yall use.

I am gettin a 18 inch btl soon gonna get 2 in the mean time im gonna be pumping 4000 watts rms at it with the memphis 4kw could it handle that on a daily basses

ok guys i really some opinions on this, im tryna decide if i will run 4 15s or 4 18s for my next install. if im goin to wall or no wall. i use to think wall were for wussies lol, but boy have i seen the light lol. this will be a non spl setup. bassrace/music setup. which would be a better fit in a blazer. the 18s or the 15s? subs will be BTLs, thanx

I have a Alpine Mrd-m1005 Amp (1000W Rms 1800 peak) amp in a 4.0 cube 35 hz box (aero port) with Alpine Type R 15. Going to purchase a Fi woofer but really unclear as to which sub I should use. Also unsure to what my setup would compare to an Sq/LSQ/Spl setup. Bassically, I love how my current setup shakes the tip of my nose and the hair on my head when I play good bass songs. Seems to hit the lows reallllly well. Also, moves a decent amount of air. I am leaning more towards that setup but something that will take it to the next level. Anyone at Fi, I need to send back my 15" Q for repair. My brother wanted to help me when I was attaching it to the box and he slipped with the drill, poking a hole in the rubberish material between the paper cone and the gasket. I was wondering what repair costs would be for that? I no longer have the box it was shipped to me in, so what I will have to do is have Fi send me a box for it. If it is an option, I would also just like to have the box already pre-payed to ship to y'all and then y'all send it back to me, and I can pay the total for repair and the shipping both ways, whatever it would be. I just ordered 2 fi Q 15s Friday (02/06/09). I know that it takes 2-3 building days plus the time it takes to deliver but I have heard that UPS just leave yr stuff at the door if they dont get an answer. Where i live if u leave stuff out it WILL be stolen. Is there a way for me to to find out the status of my order and its tracking number? Thanks

Hey I was wondering if I'll receive a tracking number when my recone ships? I know you do for sub orders but do you e-mail one for recones as well?

Its been 1 month since I placed my order and sent payment and have not recived the shipping tracking number or my order

I ordered last Monday the 22nd and I just got a tracking number in my email. Does this mean they shipped it out or what?

My paypal payment was accepted on June 6th and I was wondering if I was supposed to get a tracking number right away and they would update it when it was shipped..or do they give you the tracking number when it is actually shipped?

So i understand that it takes 3-7 days to build the subs and such, its been around 10 days, so i figured id try to check on UPS tracking. To see where my Sub was via shipping. I looked at my pay pal confirmation and it gave me a tracking I.D. is that the tracking number? because every time i use that number it says that its invalid. Also what shipping company or method does Fi use? I live in south Florida, so it shouldn't take long to receive my order right? Thanks Please, any info appreciated
