Ok so it has been 10 days seince I ordered an fi q 18 and I have not received a update on shiping information. Is fi backed up or is somthin up with ups?

my buddy was lookin was a Q or BL 15" which one and what amp would be better sub would be dual 1ohm

do the recones on the btl come with woven tinsels?

I am going to be purchasing a 15 Fi Q, and powering it with a Sundown Audio SAE-1200D. I wanted to ask what ohm sub I should order and if the BP option is a good choice. The amp does 1200x1 @ 1 ohm. i was going to build a 2.5ft sealed enclosure, suggestions? im rollin a 94 s10 blazer. thanks homies.

I bought two 12 Fi Q subs about 4 months ago and I haven't had anything but good things to say about them. Everyone who gets a listen smiles instantly and asks me all about them. So the reason for me wanting new subs? None really, just getting a new car so I figure now would be the time to get the louder audio setup. I actually got into an accident not to long ago in my Lincoln LS and it seems to be totaled so I should be going to pickup my Audi S4 sometime this week. Anyhow, right now I have two Fi Q's in a sealed enclosure powered by a sundown 1500d. It gets pretty loud, but theres always room to get louder I haven't actually seen the trunk size of the S4 in pers…

ok i know im going to buy a couple 12" but which should i take im between the BL and the Q. i need some advice. ok ive got two DB DRIVE PLATINUM PD1200.1 and they are strappable. so id be getting around 2000 rms i want to be loud and still be able to sound good and pick up lows. i will be building the enclosure my self at about 4.5 cubes tunes to 32Hz. any input will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Thinking about (for budget reasons) trying to do the 149.9 class with 4 SSD 15's without a wall...just wondering if anyone thinks its possible....was thinking maybe a crx style box......vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer EXT....

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a SSD10 (Dual 2) but I don't quite understand the other three configuration options, flatwind coil, copper coil, and BP Power. Could someone explain what each of these mean/are and what their benefits are? Thanks! Adam

Howdy everyone. I have pretty limited experience with car audio and I was looking for some opinions on what I had in mind for my next build. (I just blew my old subs, not too sure how, but they were junk anyway.) I was looking at the SSD 15". I'm going to make a custom box thats going to be right around 4 cubic feet after displacement and tuned to 33hz. The amp I'm looking at is the Rockford Fosgate Prime R1000-1d. It's rated at 1000 watt RMS @ 2 ohms. I was thinking I would go dual 1 ohm's and wire it up to 2 ohms. Now would I have to add the flatwind coils since I would be putting it 200 watts over the RMS rating? Any criticism/opinions welcome, thanks.

Alright, I have 2 Fi X12's in a prefab ported box right now. they sound alright but not great. Either I put ~$200 into a box for them or I save up and buy a Q15 and a box(~$300+$200). my question: how much better will the Q sound than two 12X's? is it worth waiting to save up for the Q and the extra $300. Just givin some scores at the local competition the USACI put on at the NOPI Import Faceoff in Montgomery, Alabama yesterday. I took 1st in 1001-2000 modified with a 147.2. Metered in passenger kick panel sealed up. I did not like the placement of the mic due to the fact my system is geared towards the windshield!!!! I also took 1st in super port wars with a 162.8. Not bad scores with dead cells in my battery under hood. metering 11.5 volts in the back at 2200 rpm. Replacing battery tomorrow. I put my back yellowtop under hood today and metering 15.8v in the back. I'm running 2 18" btl's with 1 rockford t20001bd. I was placed in modified because my box was 2" above windo…

I have US Amp's MD.3D amp (2000 watts output), would it be necessary to add BP Power for this setup? Or will i be ok? Is there a differance in SQ or sound output without BP Power?
