Hey guys, I just ordered my Image Dynamic components and now I'm starting to look into my subwoofer setup. I've narrowed it down to three choices. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, but I do like alternative every now and then. Here are the three setups that've really stood out to me. 1) 2 12" Fi SSD's powered by a Cadence DCA 1600.1 in a ported box to specs. 2) 2 12" Image Dynamics IDQv3's in a sealed encolsure powered by a AudioQue 1200D or Sundown SAE-1200D. 3) 2 12" AudioQue SDC2.5's in a ported box powered by an AudioQue 1200D or Sundown SAE-1200D. Alright, I have 2 Fi X12's in a prefab ported box right now. they sound alright but not great. Either I put ~$200 into a box for them or I save up and buy a Q15 and a box(~$300+$200). my question: how much better will the Q sound than two 12X's? is it worth waiting to save up for the Q and the extra $300. Hey everyone I have a quick question. How does it work with the RMS wattage and the impedance the speakers are wired to? Are they always the same RMS wattage at the different impedances you can have the speakers wired to?

ok i know im going to buy a couple 12" but which should i take im between the BL and the Q. i need some advice. ok ive got two DB DRIVE PLATINUM PD1200.1 and they are strappable. so id be getting around 2000 rms i want to be loud and still be able to sound good and pick up lows. i will be building the enclosure my self at about 4.5 cubes tunes to 32Hz. any input will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Just givin some scores at the local competition the USACI put on at the NOPI Import Faceoff in Montgomery, Alabama yesterday. I took 1st in 1001-2000 modified with a 147.2. Metered in passenger kick panel sealed up. I did not like the placement of the mic due to the fact my system is geared towards the windshield!!!! I also took 1st in super port wars with a 162.8. Not bad scores with dead cells in my battery under hood. metering 11.5 volts in the back at 2200 rpm. Replacing battery tomorrow. I put my back yellowtop under hood today and metering 15.8v in the back. I'm running 2 18" btl's with 1 rockford t20001bd. I was placed in modified because my box was 2" above windo…

I was just wondering if you shipping calculator is messed up on the Fi site as it wants to charge me $40.60 to ship 7 teeshirts to 15936? Thats seems like alot considering its not even 10lbs with the box. Now I ordered from them before and got 6 teeshirts and 2 hoodies and the shipping was like half the cost it wants this time. I know shipping has gone up but

alright so i have a sundown sae-1000d. i am currently running 2 type r 12's and they just dont do it for me. which singe sub should i run? i was looking into a single 15 or 18. i know 1000 watts isnt too much but its what ive got to work with so any help is appreciated. budget isnt too big of a concern since i will be selling the type r's.

I want to put 4 15's in my truck and have no clue what to do. I love SPL and would like to do small competitions. The big problem is what to I go with. All in all, what is the huge difference between the BTL and BL, other than power. About how much of a difference will I notice between the two. Finally, I am a daily driver, so overall, which will be more benificial for me. I am lookin right now more at the BL due to price. Alright, so tonight i was planning to sit down and order all my wiring, connectors and terminals for my upcoming install. Eclipse CD7000 Hertz High Energy comps 2- 12" FI BL's 2- Sundown 1500's 1- Sundown 4/100 2- Kinetik 2400 220 Amp Iraggi Alt. 2006 Grand Prix I started mapping out my runs and trying to get figures for wiring, terminals etc when i realized i wasnt exactly sure how i should wire everything. I plan to finish the big3 as im installing my alt, thats no problem. Then run my 1/0 runs to the trunk where my 2 kinetiks will be. Here is where im confused... i know i need to run the batteries in parallel. This is as far as i got... Should i use dual battery term…

Which is louder for a single fq?? How is an 8th order like? I know 6th is ported in ported. I am trying tomake a box to peak extremely high at one note.

I used the search feature and all i can find is threads where people want a recone. Questions: 1. Is there a link to something that explains exactly what a recone is 2. What are the benefits? 3. When do you know when you need a recone?
