I got a VW Golf and i want a nice system with some heavy bass, Shall i pick 2 Fi BTL or 2 Pioneer 3000? and what amp shall i get if im picking the 2 Fi BTL`s?

Ok guys. The time is coming up fast to kick off my build. However, I had a few last minute worries (still designing a box) and was curious. I am still debating if I wanna build a box so I can slide it between the wheel wells for real quick sub "fixes" if I must, but am still not sure, what do you think? I want to compete in SPL comps, so I wanna make sure I do this right, lol. How much of a difference would I notice if I went with 2 15" BTLs over 4 12" BLs? With 2 15's the box would just be soooo much easier to design, and I think I am worried about fudging something with the 4 12's. sigh, I need a little help plz, guidance, anything.

Hey guys, need s'more help once again . I got a price quote from somebody online about having a box built for 2 Fi Q 15's... I told him the dims I had to work with (40" deep, 19" high, 48" wide) and the tuning freq (32Hz) and he came out with the rest. Is this a good setup? 30" deep x 19" high x 28" wide 6.1 cu ft tuned to 32 hz w/88 sq in of port. Thanks

I want to put 4 15's in my truck and have no clue what to do. I love SPL and would like to do small competitions. The big problem is what to I go with. All in all, what is the huge difference between the BTL and BL, other than power. About how much of a difference will I notice between the two. Finally, I am a daily driver, so overall, which will be more benificial for me. I am lookin right now more at the BL due to price. So, about how great do they sound, esp running 4 15's??? thanks for the help guys......

alright so i have a sundown sae-1000d. i am currently running 2 type r 12's and they just dont do it for me. which singe sub should i run? i was looking into a single 15 or 18. i know 1000 watts isnt too much but its what ive got to work with so any help is appreciated. budget isnt too big of a concern since i will be selling the type r's.

I want to buy/make a Fi polo. I didnt see one on the site has anyone done it before i want the design. I cant figure out how to get just a black Fi logo on a dark grey one. I would do it if i had photoshop but i dont.

i have a 3 inch by 12 inch port that goes in 9 inches which means its tuned to 32 hz ... if i maybe woulda made it thinner and went back farther could it of been louder?

whats the biggest size to have a sub reconed to? 18" ? and thers noooo way it could be made bigger?

I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with 2 12" RE SE's in a custom 4 cu ft at 34hz enclosure (the old ones, not the seX) on a nasty TMA 1000.1 (I didn't know much about this, bought it cheap from a friend). I'm right on that 1000 rms borderline so I have not performed any electrical upgrades and my car is fine (no dimming etc). I was just wondering if you shipping calculator is messed up on the Fi site as it wants to charge me $40.60 to ship 7 teeshirts to 15936? Thats seems like alot considering its not even 10lbs with the box. Now I ordered from them before and got 6 teeshirts and 2 hoodies and the shipping was like half the cost it wants this time. Wanting to try 2 BL 18's and will have about 1600wrms going to each sub. Is that too much? if not, which options should i select for them to perform well with that much power. It will be a daily beater/bass racer..box will probably be around 10 cubes net crx style with about 150 sq inches of port if this helps at all.

I used the search feature and all i can find is threads where people want a recone. Questions: 1. Is there a link to something that explains exactly what a recone is 2. What are the benefits? 3. When do you know when you need a recone?

Alright plan on re-building the box and I may try this. Remember my trunk is extremely sealed off, I have computers and what not all on behind the rear seat and with the panel off it doesn't let much air intot he car. Anyways, I want to face the subs the same way, towards the back and have the port facing up and into the car. It would be built so the port goes directly into the rear deck. How you guys think that will work?

Here's the deal. I live in a small eastern Montana town where the most exotic subs you see are the one or two people with a few Eclipses. Everyone here is running either Pioneer or Kicker (with almost no exception). I will give you a small rundown of what I have used most recently (and currently), along with what I am trying to achieve.
