alright so i have a sundown sae-1000d. i am currently running 2 type r 12's and they just dont do it for me. which singe sub should i run? i was looking into a single 15 or 18. i know 1000 watts isnt too much but its what ive got to work with so any help is appreciated. budget isnt too big of a concern since i will be selling the type r's.

whats the biggest size to have a sub reconed to? 18" ? and thers noooo way it could be made bigger?

not sure if you guys are just extremely busy and not being able to get to the emails but i would like to purchase 4 replacement btl leads for a 15" btl. i sent 2 emails titles "ATTN SCOTT HELP ASAP" like you told the other guys to do that wanted to buy some btl leads. it has all my info in there, including address, sub model and options on it, my email adress, and my phone number, as well as what im inquiring about, which is the btl leads. just not sure if you guys recieved it. thanks George

I have a 12" BTL with all the bells and whistles, and I decided to get a dual 1 ohm and not a dual 2 ohm sub. My question is: can I wire the dual 1 to to go with an amp that does one ohm. Or am I left with getting an amp that does two ohms(if so what will be a good amp for the BTL at 2 ohms)

well got a BTL today. and when installing it i couldn't decide whether to take the logo off the bottom or leave it.. i left it.. should i take off the logo on the bottom of the magnet? i have the cooling option and the hixmcoil option. it didn't seem like sticker i should've taken off.. i just played it for like 5+ hours and it was fine. then i looked at some BTL pics and none have it that aren't already used.. only just unboxed ones have it.. should i take it off or what? thanks.

Wanting to try 2 BL 18's and will have about 1600wrms going to each sub. Is that too much? if not, which options should i select for them to perform well with that much power. It will be a daily beater/bass racer..box will probably be around 10 cubes net crx style with about 150 sq inches of port if this helps at all.

Here's the deal. I live in a small eastern Montana town where the most exotic subs you see are the one or two people with a few Eclipses. Everyone here is running either Pioneer or Kicker (with almost no exception). I will give you a small rundown of what I have used most recently (and currently), along with what I am trying to achieve. My favorite setup I have ran recently was a pair of 12" Cerwin Vega "Vega Series" in a large prefab ported box powered by a Rockford 250a2. It hit hard and I got it for pennies. Also curious about this one. I have had some cheap subs in the past with horrible bass response. How do the BTLs stand up for bass response. I have a friend with RF P3's in their "special" enclosure (the plastic ported box) and I have noticed that a lot of the bass notes are jumbled together and don't stand out from one another. Since the BTL's are some big SPL subs, do they do this as well or are they a little better and letting the notes stand out.

I ordered an SSD and a BTL on the same order. The SSD showed up today and man is it beefy...but there is no BTL. UPS said there were two packages...but only one showed up. Do the subs ship when theyre done, or do you hold one to wait on another that takes longer? Thanks,

About how much excursion does a fi ssd 10 have? Im thinking about getting 2 and really need to know so ill be sure if their going to hit the back of my seat or not. Thanks

Alright plan on re-building the box and I may try this. Remember my trunk is extremely sealed off, I have computers and what not all on behind the rear seat and with the panel off it doesn't let much air intot he car. Anyways, I want to face the subs the same way, towards the back and have the port facing up and into the car. It would be built so the port goes directly into the rear deck. How you guys think that will work?

What is the reccomened size sealed box for a 18inch SSD w/ Copper coil?

I was just wondering if you shipping calculator is messed up on the Fi site as it wants to charge me $40.60 to ship 7 teeshirts to 15936? Thats seems like alot considering its not even 10lbs with the box. Now I ordered from them before and got 6 teeshirts and 2 hoodies and the shipping was like half the cost it wants this time. I want to buy/make a Fi polo. I didnt see one on the site has anyone done it before i want the design. I cant figure out how to get just a black Fi logo on a dark grey one. I would do it if i had photoshop but i dont.
