i need some help with my system. should i get 2 18in. qs.... or 2 18in bls? ilisten to rap. it will be daily to. also i was wondering if a hifonics bxi2608d would work well with them, at 2600rms or a bxi2008d at 2000rms. any help will be appreciated greatly,

I decided to sell my old 12's and go with a single 12 inch install. Im looking at the 12" SSD dual 2 ohm. IM looking to build a single ported box to replace my dual 12 ported box in my civic. I have a memphis mono 1000D for an amp. I decided to not go with a man stream name like i have in the past and try something new and have heard nothing but good things about FI. So any help on this subject would be aprreciated. I mainly listen to rap and metal. Also i was wondering if my 1000D memphis would be a good match for this sub and also i was curious about about how much does a 12 inch SSD weigh? total or magnet weight? Thanks

Does anyone know if FI got their internet back up and running? I talked to Nick on Wednesday or Thursday and he said the internet had been down all week so they couldn't ship anything out. I am waiting on 2 btl's to ship out so I was going to see if they ever got it running again

About how much excursion does a fi ssd 10 have? Im thinking about getting 2 and really need to know so ill be sure if their going to hit the back of my seat or not. Thanks

Is it possible to have some pics of the compression plug & axial cooling channels?

So I'm looking to get a 15" TC9 reconed by Fi right now, and possibly a Shocker Sig in the near future. I have sent a few emails to the recone address, but I got no response. Is there a better way to get this done? I would like to get this thing reconed ASAP, so any help at all would be appreciated.

thanks man they look great just kinda sucks they don't have anything on the cone, im going have to find 2 small shocker stickers or something to put on there :-D. how bad where the old one's i had each hooked up to a viper 2500D and it was clippin a little. im going to do bass race/street max 1-2 then upgrade to bl's or btl's by the end of the year. what box do you think i should go with? this is going in the trunk/back seat of a 2002 sunfire so i have around 10cf max to work with. i was thinking about tunin it to 35hz's or an adjustabule port but i never did one before and im not to sure how. what do you think i should do? if anyone wants to know i sent 2 se 12's to get…

well got a BTL today. and when installing it i couldn't decide whether to take the logo off the bottom or leave it.. i left it.. should i take off the logo on the bottom of the magnet? i have the cooling option and the hixmcoil option. it didn't seem like sticker i should've taken off.. i just played it for like 5+ hours and it was fine. then i looked at some BTL pics and none have it that aren't already used.. only just unboxed ones have it.. should i take it off or what? thanks.

Alright, So I Have a couple of questions. Currently I am running 1/0 to a saz-1500d and a 15" Fi BL with p chamfer. My question is i'm considering buying my friends 15" BL so I can run them both, his sub does not have a p chamfer, Is that going to be a huge difference in power or sound? My friend sugested that with the right electrical set up I could possible run my 1500d at .5 ohm. I'm not sure about that. Any suggestions and Info would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the reccomened size sealed box for a 18inch SSD w/ Copper coil?

Also curious about this one. I have had some cheap subs in the past with horrible bass response. How do the BTLs stand up for bass response. I have a friend with RF P3's in their "special" enclosure (the plastic ported box) and I have noticed that a lot of the bass notes are jumbled together and don't stand out from one another. Since the BTL's are some big SPL subs, do they do this as well or are they a little better and letting the notes stand out.

I plan to finish the big3 as im installing my alt, thats no problem. Then run my 1/0 runs to the trunk where my 2 kinetiks will be. Here is where im confused... i know i need to run the batteries in parallel. This is as far as i got... Should i use dual battery term…

i am looking for demtions for an fi btl subwoofer box i have a 1995 chevy blazer and the room i have to use is 22 inches high 25 inches deep and 38 inches wide the recomendation is 5-10cuft so could anyone tell me what dimentions to make my box and how big the port should be

I want to buy a fi Q 12 from a friend and he claims it to be fully loaded(only without spider) Is there any way i can check if the sub actually have all that options. It's the new version of fi q.

I don't exactly know what this statement means on the BTL ordering page: "Current lead time is 30 days as of 11/30/09. Free cooling and sticker pack for all that order during this period." As I recall, cooling is usually a $40 option. And I would like to take advantage of it, but would like some clarification first, thanks!

I'm a beginner and I'm thinking of putting a competition capable system in. More interested in SPL.

I have a 12'' BL in a 2.25 or so cu. ft. box ported at 32 hz, and a Kicker ZX1000.1 running at 2 ohms and it doesnt seem loud enough, and i dont want to clip it to death. im wondering if a different amp can help? its a fully loaded bl so im sure it can take 1500 rms, what do you guys suggest? right now for electrical i have 1/0 for the amp and battery, ive done the wire upgrades for the grounding in the engine compartment, except for the alternator because of it being mounted by my chassis rather than near the hood. any suggestions there besides the alt positve wire?

hey all, i just can back from my first db drags bass race that was held in hayward, ca. i might say, i had a blast. my car install is still in the works. 18" BL walled. i met some cool guys there and they had no problem giving me tips. BIGGG ups to Christian with the 2 15" RE MT'S. 147.9 db. nice!

I ordered an SSD and a BTL on the same order. The SSD showed up today and man is it beefy...but there is no BTL. UPS said there were two packages...but only one showed up. Do the subs ship when theyre done, or do you hold one to wait on another that takes longer? Thanks,

do you guys think the 4 10 x series subs will handle 1500 watts???i was going to do the ssds but if i can get more cone erea that would be cool
