Hey guys, been awhile since I have been on here to pick your brains. I had my Charger SRT, got it set up nicely, and realized I really dislike cars so I sold it and got a F150, 4 door. Every truck I have had I put a fiberglass lid on the back and did a blowthrough going into the cab. I have always been happy with that, but could never haul anything. In keeping with a truck theme, I am planning on keeping the back open this time. To get a decent amount of bass I would like to rip out the back seat and put two individual seat in there and build a custom fiberglass console running up to the front seat, maybe a little further. I purchased a 15" Q back in 2009 and the cooling portion "blew" out of the sub, cracking/destroying the dustcap in the process. I have repaired the sub but still need a dustcap! Any help? I have tried to order one on the website but cannot find an option to do so... thanks for any help guys.

i want o ask some questions about Fi Car Audio

I hate to ask this, but I have hit a crossroad. I am looking for some real good output and have around 2k watts of power to play with. I have about 3 to 4 cubic feet of room to play with in the trunk of my car. What would probably work best, 1 15" BL or 2 10" BL's. I thought the 2 10's due to sheer cone area, but any other input would be cool. I am fearful I will not have enough room for a BTL, so that is why that is not in the running.

Alright so I have had my system in for a couple of months now and I have finally had some time to really get to know it. Now that the hype of having a new system is over I am starting to listen to my normal music and not just rap, so thats stuff like 311, Eve 6, and Modest Mouse. And i have to say is that, it sounds amazing for being a 15. It keeps up with the fastest drum kicks and its clean and crisp. I could not be happier with the SQ of this sub. Before i had 2 10's and those were amazing for rock but this is just as good if not better, I got the benefit of being much louder and having lower notes but did not give up any accuracy! Hey guys help me out here i just have a couple short questions. I just ordered a 15" BTL not too long ago and I'm still undecided on what amp what buy. The two I'm stuck on are a Rocford T20001BD or an AudioQ 2200D. What would be a better fit for the sub? Another major thing I was curious on was which one would be better on power? I heard the T2K is very power hungry. Also which amp has better quality over all? Another thing is that I can pick up the AQ2200D for almost $200 less which is a big deciding factor. Does anybody have either of these amps that can give me some feedback on them? I'd appreciate any response and advice. Thanks.

Okay, here it goes. Please dont flame me. I tried searching and read through a bunch of posts before making my own thread. I have 2 BTL 15" 3 stack that I bought used and they are supposed to be fully loaded. One is pretty beat up so I decided a recone was in order soon. I got them cheap so I wasnt concerned and I knew they could be reconed. I had these 2 subs in my 95 grand marquis on 2 mmats 2100.1. I have 220 amp alt. Big 3 0ga and an Optima yellow top. This is my first system. I'm not sure how many speakers to get to compliment my subwoofers. I was thinking four 6 1/2" component speakers for the doors (amplified of course). Is this enough or will the subwoofers over power the mids/highs? The speakers are Rockford Fosgate Power T1652-S.

Well, around december i received my 12" Fi Q from my uncle who knew me too well i guess. It was given as a gift. So im going to break down this topic into the reveiw first, then into my ?'s Packaging, First Impressions: Upon opening the box, the sub was wrapped well and contained in a nice packaged box. only one of the blue things were somewhat worn, so it was slopped down a little, but as i said it was a gift, and probably not handled the best. Just built my enclosure for my 12 that is going to arrive on tuesday. Vented box is 2.48 cu ft tuned to 32.2hz question is which side of the face should i place the sub in? furthest from the vent possible, in the middle, near the vent? I havent cut out the hole yet, so i figured ide ask while i have time also, how much volume will the sub consume so that i know exactly how much cu/ft i am working with? little interested to hear the sub, every thread i keep reading tells people to buy the BL if you want any kind of spl. hello, just trying to get some input, use to bass race a few years back, then "lost" all my stuff, so i'm now finally getting back into it. This will be strictly a dd set-up/bass racer. Tell me what you think, input is much appreciated. My set-up consists of the following: 2001 Chevy blazer Alpine 9857 200amp HO alt Big 3 done in 1/0 optima yellow top under the hood (3) kinetik 2400's in the back (2)Fully loaded BTL 15's (2)Audioque 2200d's strapped at 2 ohms 9.5 cubic ft. net crx style using 3 6" aero ports tuned around 34hz Does this sound like a good setup? I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. The fs of the Q kind of makes me nervous, as the MASS was around 25 and the q is 34. My front stage consist of a DLS up6i set, being powered by an amp that is 150x2. So i got my FI Q back from a recone like 2 weeks ago. and since it's been hooked up i hear like a rattling type of sound when the bass hits during the majority of songs (some sound fine usually the loud bass songs) i went next to the sub to hear where it was coming from and it sounds like it's coming from the sub itself any idea as why this would be happening? Also if i put my back seats up (my box sits flush with the back seats so the sub faces the cabin while i drive so with the seats up the sub is touching the back seats limiting it's excursion) the sound dissapears and it sounds like clean bass on any song but since it is limiting it's excursion it is noticeably quiet…
