I don't understand ohms at all. But I'm ordering a 15'' BTL with an audioque 2200 watt amp. So it will just be 1 sub, 1 amp. What ohm should I run? and can somone maybe explain what it means to me?

Hey all im from northeast PA, and I would really like to hit up some competitions soon. I won my last one in Oct with my BTL hit 143.3 on tl at the dash. Loudest of every car there. It was on music. hi i was wondering if i can buy just some parts from you mainly just two 15" cones with surrounds attached, and some spiders. i have frames and thread rod assemblies made for the application. and would like to make a couple of passive radiators. i would imagine i would need cones that are on the stronger end of the spectrum considering i have up to a pound and a half to add to each threaded rod. and i am not sure as far as spiders go. the one passive i do have uses just one spider, and it is most defiantly not very stiff.

I got my 2 BL's a while ago, back in September. I just got around to getting my amps, so I take everything out of the box to hook it all up, and I noticed one of the cones is rock rock solid. Thats when I really started to worry, I hooked everything up running them at 1 ohm, and played a quick sweep to see if it would unlodge the coil. Nope, just a bad scratching noise, so I quickly turned off the head unit and unhooked everything. So now I am curious what to do. Does the warranty cover this defect? It really sucks that I haven't even been able to jam this sub and its already broken. I sent an email to scott, but I really dont know what he will do.

I would like to get a sub to Canada, and was wondering if it is possible to ship one out to Canada directly. The only options I see in checkout are UPS to the lower 48. I would prefer FedEx or USPS. I currently have two Kicker L7 10's vented running off of a KX 1200.1 in an Extended cab 2000 Silverado. I am loking to upgrade to something a little louder, so I recently did a cut through into the bed and am looking at putting a BL 18" back there. My question is would this one 18" be louder than my current setup? I plan on porting the box and running it off of the same amp. If anybody has a similar setup to the one I am looking at, if you have gotten it metered and could post the numbers that would be great. Thanks.

i have the last generation BTL (15inch). and i am thinking about buying a second 15inch btl. will it be a problem if i have the new btl, and the old one in the same box?

Few questions before I go ordering my 15 BL .5ohm with options. 1. Will ordering online yield prompt service or should I contact directly? 2. What is the current wait time. I want to know before I order. Not worried about the overall time but if it's a month after expected build time then that will be unacceptable. 3. Which shipping company do you guys use if not UPS? So i got my FI Q back from a recone like 2 weeks ago. and since it's been hooked up i hear like a rattling type of sound when the bass hits during the majority of songs (some sound fine usually the loud bass songs) i went next to the sub to hear where it was coming from and it sounds like it's coming from the sub itself any idea as why this would be happening? Also if i put my back seats up (my box sits flush with the back seats so the sub faces the cabin while i drive so with the seats up the sub is touching the back seats limiting it's excursion) the sound dissapears and it sounds like clean bass on any song but since it is limiting it's excursion it is noticeably quiet…

I just bought a 15" BL and was wondering if the T1500-1bd would be a good match for the BL.

how much would it be for a recone on a bl 15? i want a 2 ohm with flatwind. when i ordered my sub i got a 1 ohm and i have a saz 1500d so i need a 2 ohm. i didnt get universal so can they make it a 2 ohm? and whats the ELW option? oh and im gona send it to fi.
