I plan on putting 4 15" BTL's in the bed of a silverado with a blowthrough, not a wall. Out of curiosity, will there be any type of loss in pressure and sound by doin this? Also, if I make a small wall around the hole with sound deadener all under it, will that make a improvement on the loss if there will be any in the first place. I know that it will help with road noise, so i am doing it anyway, but am just curious.

I plan on buying 2 SSD 12's and I don't know much about Amps. I was wonder if anyone could recommend one or a pair of amps I should get too power them.

Hello, im new here and had a question. I will be running about 1700watts rms per channel(2 channels) here pretty soon.I'm looking for louder and more bass "air flow", but also don't want to risk blown subs either... So i'm interested in purchasing one 12" BL subwoofer but don't know what to select for the options. It will be going into a 2008 Nissan Altima and being powered by a Clarion DPX1001.2 and the specs are: 250 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms 450 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms 500 watts RMS x 2 at 1 ohm 1,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms in bridged mode i am just wondering if someone could help me figure out what i would need to select for Hyper Pole, Cooling, Flatwind etc. This would be a daily driver and not spl, and pleas correct me if i'm wrong but would i need a dvc 2 ohm sub wired to 4 ohms and bridging it at the amp would bring it down to 2 ohms right? need anymore information, just let me kn…

I have been building boxes for sometime and I notice that a lot of boxes have the same concept but are built a little different. When I build a ported box for two subs I normally direct the air out of the front (depending on the application) of the enclosure with a divider between both chambers. I have seen some enclosures with no divider coming out of the front, just a big hole. Does adding or taking away a divider give off a different sound? I also add one in the middle just to make the box more rigid. I am building two ported boxes for a van. Would it be better to port it in the front like I have been doing or to go another way. I would think that by porting it …

So I have been sittin here planning out my next system almost to a T, when the thought pops in my head, maybe I should find out the competition rules and types of competitions there are before I do any major planning. Does anyone have any ideas or sites I can hit up to find out the various competitions and rules regarding these comps? My last plan was a F150 with shell on the bed. I was gonna do a wall with 4 18" BTLs, allowing the box to take up some room in the bed. I was probably gonna port front as well, but have some templates and planning to do first. Hey im selling my 15 Fi Q with BP Power in a 4 cubic ft. box and (4) 3" aero ports wrapped in ultra suede and tuned to 32hz. I wasn't selling on here unless someone desperately wants it but i was asking how much do you think i should ask for? I've had the stuff since march and never abused. How much to change a fully loaded BTL 18 to a 12 or 15? I need a much smaller box for my new truck.

So I recently just ordered my two powermaster 925's 220amp alt and 0 gauge wiring kit. My question is how do I wire the new alt to the current bat I have now and from the one under the hood to the rear 2 Powermasters then into the amp? Reply's will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dover

I know this amp does not do rated power but I have ran it at half-ohm bridged before just fine but will it be enough to power two 15'' Q's sufficiently? I plan on using a 2.2 (before displacement) cubic foot per chamber sealed fully stuffed enclosure. Thanks Chris
