i need help making a box for a fi bl 12. i have 97 honda accord so not that much room in the trunk. i would like it to be ported but i dont know what to tune it to or how big to make it. if i could get some plans that would be lovely

So ive done the big 3 and upgraded alternaters. The big 3 is done in 1/0 awg. Its pretty dern strong. No more dim lights, Voltage drop isnt bad at all. im sittin at about 14.7 when the bass hits itll drop to about 13.9 But does anyone have any advice on how i can get some highs outta my speaker? ive got a jvc kdr 300. is there any settings on there that would help?

i have a s10 standard cab and was wondering if i will hear alot of motor noise from the 2 10in ssds if i mount them in between the seats inverted or should i just mount them behind the seats

So I recently just ordered my two powermaster 925's 220amp alt and 0 gauge wiring kit. My question is how do I wire the new alt to the current bat I have now and from the one under the hood to the rear 2 Powermasters then into the amp? Reply's will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dover

Alright hoping someone could help me out I need some measurements on a 10" Q. I need total height from bottom of magnet to top of surround and I see the mount depth is listed as 6.5". Is that depth listed the actual depth of the sub or does it include airflow room. If so about how much clearance do I need behind the magnet. I need to know because I plan on building some custom enclosures in my new magnum. I want to fit them in the rear pockets and still leave room for the lower tray to open. Anyone done these on here before and have any tips? Thanks guys.

Hello, im new here and had a question. I will be running about 1700watts rms per channel(2 channels) here pretty soon.I'm looking for louder and more bass "air flow", but also don't want to risk blown subs either... Am I better off getting 2 fully loaded 15" BL's, or 2 BTL's? any specific options for either? Much appreciated guys, Josh

I plan on putting 4 15" BTL's in the bed of a silverado with a blowthrough, not a wall. Out of curiosity, will there be any type of loss in pressure and sound by doin this? Also, if I make a small wall around the hole with sound deadener all under it, will that make a improvement on the loss if there will be any in the first place. I know that it will help with road noise, so i am doing it anyway, but am just curious.

i guess ill go with the single 15" btl in a 5cft ported box instead of an 18" in a 6.5cft box i wish i had the air space for 1 18 btl but one of the members on this forum said by having 1 15 in its correct encloser v.s having a 18" in a 6.5 encloser which is recommend to have 5-8 cft per sub the 15 would be better to get the most bass. i hope everything work out right just seeing what you guys think. well if someone could pm me with a price on reconeing a 18 to a 15 and part two is it possiable to fit 2 btl15's in a box 36wx30 or less deepx20h with a interchangeable port one at around 45-50hz and one at low to mid 30hz. So ive done a lot of searching around here at the forums looking for a good daily sub. I finally stumbled across FI's BL series and tried to do some research but just couldnt find the information that i was looking for. So i was looking into buying a BL15 with the pole chanfer and cooling options. So heres my questions. What would be a good size box and tuning frequency for higher output? Amp? And most importantly its output capabilities with spl oriented setup. everything will be going into a 93 Lincoln Town Car. any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know this amp does not do rated power but I have ran it at half-ohm bridged before just fine but will it be enough to power two 15'' Q's sufficiently? I plan on using a 2.2 (before displacement) cubic foot per chamber sealed fully stuffed enclosure. Thanks Chris
