Hello, im new here and had a question. I will be running about 1700watts rms per channel(2 channels) here pretty soon.I'm looking for louder and more bass "air flow", but also don't want to risk blown subs either... Am I better off getting 2 fully loaded 15" BL's, or 2 BTL's? any specific options for either? Much appreciated guys, Josh

Hello, I have a PT cruiser and I am looking at the Q12s or Q15s (4 of each) I have the back seats removed and have about 17.875 cuft to work with, the box would be: WIDTH is 39 in. HEIGHT is 24 in. DEPTH is 33 in. Would there be enough room in that box for (4) Q15s sealed? Maybe able to add 2 more inches to the Depth! I will running about 1500 watts rms to each subwoofer, will the Q12s or 15s without the power opt. handle that much power in a sealed box? thanks.....Brian

i guess ill go with the single 15" btl in a 5cft ported box instead of an 18" in a 6.5cft box i wish i had the air space for 1 18 btl but one of the members on this forum said by having 1 15 in its correct encloser v.s having a 18" in a 6.5 encloser which is recommend to have 5-8 cft per sub the 15 would be better to get the most bass. i hope everything work out right just seeing what you guys think. So ive done a lot of searching around here at the forums looking for a good daily sub. I finally stumbled across FI's BL series and tried to do some research but just couldnt find the information that i was looking for. So i was looking into buying a BL15 with the pole chanfer and cooling options. So heres my questions. What would be a good size box and tuning frequency for higher output? Amp? And most importantly its output capabilities with spl oriented setup. everything will be going into a 93 Lincoln Town Car. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Im am trying to get my box for a 18" Bl made before i order so that when it comes in i can just drop it in and go. Here are the specs and a couple of scketches. I also have a coulple of questions since i dont have the sub in yet. My main concern is i am wondering if the subwoofer is going to fit between the edge of the box and the L port. The distance between the two is 19.5 " is this enough room to fit the sub and the outside of the basket where the screws are. Also what do u think about the dimensions and the design. Lookin gor constructive critisism and ideas. I designed it with the re box builder. Its going in an 04 Jeep Cherokee Limited. does this design have too m…

I know this amp does not do rated power but I have ran it at half-ohm bridged before just fine but will it be enough to power two 15'' Q's sufficiently? I plan on using a 2.2 (before displacement) cubic foot per chamber sealed fully stuffed enclosure. Thanks Chris

Would like to buy a Q motor and a 15" basket so I could throw the extra soft parts I have in it. I am using Fi soft parts for the recone. I have an extra Q Fc D1 I would like to build this sub for myself and give my pre-09 to my buddy for xmas. What would the pricing and shipping look like for this motor, basket, and some glue? =/

Ok quick comparison. I need to buy an alternator very soon and here's probably the best ones i've found so far. http://powerbastards.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Fitzall%2D220 I think this is a ledgit site and product, input? I think this one needs to be custom mounted which will a pain in the balls and will cost a good amount to do. or there's this one that after looking at my current alternator looks to be one that will fit without fabrication... http://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/hiampalrefor.html Any one with a maxima also? Between the two which should I go with? I am going to be running a SAZ-2000D in a '03 Nissan Maxima 3.5L...ummm 15" BTL...no other electrical up…

Ok, so I am going infinite baffle in my e28 and have a pair of Fi X 12's. Does anyone know how well they may perform in tis type of setup? Just a little info, stock the trunk is sealed from the cabin in an e28 BMW and therefore it is good for this type of setup. I will mount the subs on the rear deck. I am definitely an SQ guy so lower spl is fine with me. However, I cannot go bigger than 12" because there is only 13" of rear deck space. I would have to cut the wall all up just to get some air moving into the cabin in a regular box setup anyway. Any tips, questions, info is appreciated.

Ladies/Gents, I can't keep up with private messages. I had them turned off a while back and then some how or another they got turned on again and we've magically got space for 500 private messages...that I don't want to have in the first place. Please just email me. Nick " at " ficaraudio.com Thanks!

Hey hopefully this isn't too bad a thing to ask for, but is there any way to ge a recone for a RE SX 12 via Fi? And if so, would it be possible to just pick it up instead of having it shipped? I might be in Vegas in the near future and it would be cool to skip the shipping. thx, Ash aka Rob

I am not trying to ask "when can I expect my package, it has been 2 months", simply asking if everything is being built on time. If I can expect what the website says, then I will be patient and wait. If anyone knows if the factory is behind with the holidays coming up or anything, please let me know. Thanks.
