I have a Blueprint 1503 from several years back. Someone told me that Fi's owners used to build these, and may be able to do a recone. Any info on this? Thanks.

Ok Ive been designing my new system Ill be putting in this summer and for the amp I have chosen the Rockford Power T10001Bd to power a Fi Audio BL 15 and build a nice large ported box tuned low for it, but then I got bored and looked at the SSD 15 and saw it required less cu. ft. for a ported box and I could fit 2 of those 15s ported but would have to build seperate boxes for them because my trunk aint that big too put one big box in at once and I dont want to partialy build the box and have to finish it in the trunk, but another thing I dont know the final load of 2 Dual 1ohm subs are and if it did have a 1ohm load shuldnt the T10001Bd amp have enough power for both of t…

ok I hate to sound like a noob but I've never delt with restricted space and a sealed box before so the box I've had built for my 03 silverado ex cab is for 2 10's firing forward under rear seat it has a total of 2.4 cu. ft. so after displacement wich is 0.12, cu. inches per that should give me about 1.08 cu.ft of airspace per sub right. The box was originaly going to have 2 RE se 10's but have since decided to try the ssd's since they have similar specs and recomended airspace, and I dont want to F*** up so thanks in advance for any help

What does rescheduled to 3/7/2007 mean? Is that when I can expect it. UPS is showing my sub as rescheduled to 3/7/2007.

I am thinking about running 3 Q 12's in a boat. I had already made boxes that are .95 cubes a piece when I ordered some Brahmas. Due to Adires current situation the brahmas will not be coming. Anyway, can anyone tell me how the Q works in a sealed box, and if possible how it compares to the brahma. I have not ordered an amp yet, but was hoping to give each sub about 800 watts. Is this enough or do I need to find a larger amp? Right now the only other line I am looking at is TC. I am between the TC-2000, TC-3000, or Q. I also thought about a SSD, but it seems the Q puts out more spl as well as better sq, which would be perfect as I am looking for a LSQ install. Th…

In order to get a ported box just perfect could you just punch in your cubic feet what you are needing in your box, then get the port dimensions and figure up the displacement of this inside of your box and add in sub woofer displacement. After I add these up could I enter my Height, Top and Bottom depth, then using my length as my variable to figure up how many cubic feet I need? In other words say that I have a sub woofer that has a displacement of .11. Then i figure up a port that would displace .2 cubic feet in a box. I'm needing 1.2 cubic feet after sub and port displacement. So the box should be 1.31 cubic feet inside? Here are my two designs http://img.photobucket.…

I want to purchase 2 of the Q18's for an attic mounted IB line array in my home theater. I am a member of the "IB cult" and AVS forums and I understand you guys can do some custom mods on these to gear them specifically for IB installations. I will be running them on a Behringer EP2500 amp and using the DSP1124p feeback destroyer pro. For 2 of these in an array config, what ohm rating, voice coil type, and wiring config would you guys suggest I use? I sent a few emails over the last 7-10 days, but cannot get a response so I thought I would post here. Any feedback or help would be much appreciated. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks in adv…

800w @1ohm and the sub would be sealed, flatwind doesn't seem neccessary. also thinking about a Q10 ported because i've always had a thing for single ported 10's. going behind the seat of a reg cab Ram, would have around 1-1.25ft sealed, or up to 1.25 net ported.

I have an 18'' Q and I saw that you recomend 6 to 10 cubic feet. What would be the difference in having a box that was 6 cubic feet rather than 10 cubic feet. I was going to tune to 28hz and I listen to country, rock, and rap about all equally. Will the smaller box change on how the sub performs and sounds? Also what's a good idea on how much port area to have. I always get told different answers. Some say 10 inches per cubic foot than some say 12, 15, 16, etc. Thanks

Alright, so tonight i was planning to sit down and order all my wiring, connectors and terminals for my upcoming install. I plan to finish the big3 as im installing my alt, thats no problem. Then run my 1/0 runs to the trunk where my 2 kinetiks will be. Here is where im confused... i know i need to run the batteries in parallel. This is as far as i got... Should i use dual battery term…

I'm torn between the 2 really great reviews currently for the SSD and the Q. Primarily, I want an SQ setup as I think it'll get plenty loud in my Suby wagon. Been running 750w bridged to my 2 Diamond Audio 12s sealed and while I would go with the copper coil config with the SSD, the price difference in going to the Q is really not that much. If 750w to the SSD would be pretty loud, I don't think I would upgrade my amp any time soon. But since the Q is touted so heavily, many are happy with their SSD with around 500w but 1000w seems ideal for it. Thanks!

Okay here is the setup. 10 inch SSD in a 1.7ft^3 enclosure w/ 6" Aero ~26" Effective The goal is to peak around 48 - 52hz. I have a 20.1 for power (D2 SSD). Vehicle is a 1998 Explorer TWO QUESTIONS 1 - Do you think it will be effective? Or a GOOD place to start? 2 - Do you think it will take the 20.1 for burps?

So I went through the elaboration of the two and am still confused. I will be running a DD Z1 on 2 - 12" BTL's...... I will be using them for daily street beating, and competing on the weekends. I will not be changing anything around (besides port frequency).... Options that I have chosen thus far: 3rd Magnet HiXmCoil So, do I want the cooling or P chamfer??? in advance
