i am new to FI audio and ive been searching and watching videos. i have become very interested in this brand now. i want to probably just get one of the new 18" btl's and i didn't know what options to get for this sub. it will be used daily but i still want to know how many db's this thing will put out with just having one of them. and also what is the best amp for one? thanks

I made the box for 2 bl's I made the cut ID 11.375 I know it should be 11.125 Will that 1/4" be okay? Will the sub screw in?

Well my avalanche is officially done. The suspension was getting loose as it was and I apparently smoked the coils. I was listening to white girl when my car suddenly started to fill with smoke. It kept playing after that believe it or not but it was alot quieter and now it's cutting in and out. I know on the main site it says you guys recone other companies subs and considering the fi and AA connection I know this is where to go. However I didn't see any links to follow. Who do I get in contact with to get a recone kit sent to me? Can I get a cool new dustcap? (i'd like a new AA one, but whatever, just sick of the plain black)

so i got the Re SX with the extra power mods you guys added back from ups today it looks and sounds awesome. i was really blown away by how much stiffer the suspension was than the sx suspension, and those tinsels are out of this world thanks so much for the help guys, it really wangs hard! ill definitely throw some vids up when i get the chance, got the sub 45 min ago and it's in and tested already.

Hey Scott, I sent you an email about this but figured I might as well post here. I got some recones a few months backs and someone forgot to put gaskets in the package. I need those asap, three 12" gaskets. Thanks

got a 15 Q with bp option and a sundown saz 1000d....can't wait for them to show up. Had a 15 bl with all options and hifonix 1606....had to sell it cus I needed money at the time. Went with a q cus I love sealed a lot more. CAN'T WAIT!!!

does anyone know if turning my sub around and mounting it to the box upsidedown harm the sub does it affect the sub sound?

The previous BL weight was about 34pds IIRC... How much weight are they up to now with the new driver for the 15inch?

I hate to ask this, but I have hit a crossroad. I am looking for some real good output and have around 2k watts of power to play with. I have about 3 to 4 cubic feet of room to play with in the trunk of my car. What would probably work best, 1 15" BL or 2 10" BL's. I thought the 2 10's due to sheer cone area, but any other input would be cool. I am fearful I will not have enough room for a BTL, so that is why that is not in the running.

would this be a good subwoofer enclosure for 2 fi bl's??? is the port fine?>?? and should i close each subwoofer in its own box..with its own port???/

ok here's what i got...99 mustang rear seat delete wanna do a 15 bl d1 sub up port back in a 4.36cf box@33hz(that's internal)...i was told on here that fi's specs for cf are after speaker displacement...internal dimesions for box are 15x15x33.5...as for the port i got 4x15x25.66....does this sound cool...btw that 4.36cf is before port/bracing deplacement..as i stated earlier i was told that the fi specs for speaker displacement are already included....if someone can confirm that this is all good i would greatly appreciate it

Hey guys do you have a single X series 10" laying around somewhere? I am planning a build and would love to have one. Dual 2 would be the best but I would not complain an ounce if you could dig up a dual 4. Just checking If not I guess I will wait and do it with a single Q when the time comes.

hi. anyone ever used a wall for 2 Fi Q 15's? i have a box thats tuned to 9 cu ft. right now but i wanted to see if i could use a wall for these. i was thinking like 12-15 cu ft. too much??? any suggestions? thanks.

I have a high output alternator being built, then Ill install 0 gauge power and ground wires,rebuild subwoofer box so all 4 subs will be facing up. Front door panels will be rebuilt installing an E8 sub as midbass, powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, and soundstream RF-60 component set for mids and highs also powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, the E8s will be bandpass at 60 herts to 200 herts, then the RF-60 comp set will play 200 herts and up. Today as i was listening to my music, my bass shut off. i turned off all power and parked my car at the house. I came out about half an hour later to find my car filling up with smoke and when i opened my trunk i found my port spewing smoke. After i was finally able to get the box out of the trunk, i examined the damage. The voice coil is pretty messed up along with the spider. I was curious if anyone had any clue what would cause that damage? today was an extremely hot day but i wouldn't think that would be enough to push my sub over the edge.. I've also been listening at that volume since i got the sub in september of last year. Also, will the BL recone kit on you…
