Im am trying to get my box for a 18" Bl made before i order so that when it comes in i can just drop it in and go. Here are the specs and a couple of scketches. I also have a coulple of questions since i dont have the sub in yet. My main concern is i am wondering if the subwoofer is going to fit between the edge of the box and the L port. The distance between the two is 19.5 " is this enough room to fit the sub and the outside of the basket where the screws are. Also what do u think about the dimensions and the design. would this be a good subwoofer enclosure for 2 fi bl's??? is the port fine?>?? and should i close each subwoofer in its own box..with its own port???/

does anyone know if turning my sub around and mounting it to the box upsidedown harm the sub does it affect the sub sound?

i am new to FI audio and ive been searching and watching videos. i have become very interested in this brand now. i want to probably just get one of the new 18" btl's and i didn't know what options to get for this sub. it will be used daily but i still want to know how many db's this thing will put out with just having one of them. and also what is the best amp for one? thanks

I'm putting my first system in the backseat of my 2004 Ford F150. What I would like to do is put 2 BL12's back there and run them off of either a Kicker ZX2500.1 or 2 ZX1000.1's, but I have several questions. I want to wire them to 2ohms to get the full potential out of my amps, so will I need to get the subs with dual 1 or dual 2 ohm voice coils? As far as a box goes, I plan on getting a custom slot ported box made. I ran my measurements through a program and it came back with these specs: Net Airspace- 2.5 cu. ft. per sub Port Volume- 1.586 cu. ft. Port Area- 80.39 sq. in. Tuning- 32 Hz Will these specs satisfy these subs? Also as far electrical goes, I plan on doing th…

I just picked up the subs I bought my brother for xmas 2 years. Still brand new in the box, x series(12's). I was contemplating buying a saz 1500d. I looked at the specs for it and it said that its 400w at 4 ohms. I have also read this amp is under rated in terms of power. So will this amp run these 2 subs? The alterior motive behind this amp is I will probably upgrade to q's in the next 6 months or so as well. Any help would be appreciated....

ok so i ordered a used fi btl and i got it and the postal serviced busted it and i got my money back and got to keep the sub. so i was wondering if thier was anything i could do to save it. thnks

ok here's what i got...99 mustang rear seat delete wanna do a 15 bl d1 sub up port back in a 4.36cf box@33hz(that's internal)...i was told on here that fi's specs for cf are after speaker displacement...internal dimesions for box are 15x15x33.5...as for the port i got 4x15x25.66....does this sound cool...btw that 4.36cf is before port/bracing deplacement..as i stated earlier i was told that the fi specs for speaker displacement are already included....if someone can confirm that this is all good i would greatly appreciate it

I have a high output alternator being built, then Ill install 0 gauge power and ground wires,rebuild subwoofer box so all 4 subs will be facing up. Front door panels will be rebuilt installing an E8 sub as midbass, powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, and soundstream RF-60 component set for mids and highs also powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, the E8s will be bandpass at 60 herts to 200 herts, then the RF-60 comp set will play 200 herts and up. hi. anyone ever used a wall for 2 Fi Q 15's? i have a box thats tuned to 9 cu ft. right now but i wanted to see if i could use a wall for these. i was thinking like 12-15 cu ft. too much??? any suggestions? thanks.

nick.. i called scott and spoke with him for just a second.. he said he thinks he may have a VC stilling around some where.. but wasnt sure.. so i figured i would ask you to see if you had an idea>? also that would be the cone and surround aswell correct? with a dustcap? im sure it wont be the OEM but just a cap. im not sure how this works but it has the adjutable coils on it?? im not too sure i need that if there is another option anyway thanks for your time in advance.

Well there are so many "Where is my sub!" threads I figured I should change it up a little I ordered my 15 inch ssd about 2 weeks ago and it came today! Faster then I expected and it looks like a great sub. Just wanted to say thanks!
