if you are going to use 2 10" FI subs in 1 box with 1 port does the port still use 16 sq in per cf? or does it double to 32 sq in? what would be optimal for 2 10" BL's Also would 2 10" BL's @ 1500 rms each be louder than 1 10" BTL @ 3000 rms? Thank you! i am trying to get my research done before i purchase.

I know this is a car audio forum so please excuse the HT question. I tried to get an answer out on the main forum but I wasn't getting any responses. I've heard great things about Fi and want to get a pair of 18s for my HT setup. I was told over on the Cult that some tweaks can be made to make the drivers IB friendly. So, the question I have is, what diffence could I expect between the SSD series and the Q series? I expect it to be loud, but I'm looking to hit the bottom octave with some authority. Opinions?

Hi guys, Im looking into adding a sub to my 2008 altima (with Bose) Im not looking for anything extreme in RMS liike when I had my RE HC a few years back in my older car. The sub I am looking at is either a 10 or 12' X. I have to admit im confused with the BP option. How much RMS does this add to the sub? The amp I was considering was a Diamond 300.2 that I can get at a very good price. Can someone also recommend a box for this sub? Preferably ported and if someone can let me know how this sub compares to something like a Diamond D3. I know its a lot of questions, but I do appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

  5. Ok so as you can hopefully tell I have a Dodge Charger. I have some trunk room to work with. I have 2 12 inch fully loaded SSD's being built right now I just got my 1200d Sundown amp. I know Chargers have a pretty good alt but I will of course still do the big 3 and maybe another battery. I would just like to be around 13v or a little higher. I read on Fi's website; "Ported box we recommend using 1.8-2.5 cubic feet @ 33Hz (this is optimal in our eyes and to our ears, you can tune 31-35hz fine if you so please)" So is that easy? Should I just go with a 5 cuft box ported and tuned at 33Hz???? What do you guys recommend? Thanks!!!!!!!!
