its so stiff right now i can barely move it with my hand, the coils on the dmm read .7 ohm's and .5 ohm's. regardless of how i wire the VC's it ends up at .5 ohm's, not sure if its my dmm failing or if i just fail at life, any help? final ohm load should be 2ohms FI says .7 ohm's for D1 set so it should be ~1.4-1.5 ohm's

Hi all.. im new @ the FI forums and need some help.. Ok, so i MOSTLY listen to Rap & RnB.. I was thinkin about getting [ONE] Q series 12inch (I drive a 05 Nissan Altima, so limited on space in the back of the trunk) w/ BP power and 1 Ohm.. I talked to you about a month ago about my tinsel leads being snapped in half on my 12" ssd and you asked for pictures, and then for me to send it in along with all my contact info and what coil i want in it. I sent it off on 5/29 and the tracking info said it got to you at 6/3 and mike signed for it. I sent you a reply email asking if you wanted the tracking # before hand, and didn't get a email back. I'm just hoping to hear some sort of update on this. Thanks

Just curious why I am being jump all over for the situation. No where did I talk down about FI. I did make a neg comment about the forum after I was attacked, for which I will apologize for. I went outside this morning to work on my alternator that has been giving me problems and when the garage door opened up the was a fedex guy digging through his truck. Since he was on the other side of the road I just didn't think anything of it. When he dug out a box, struggled to pick it up and then started walking to my house I freaked out. Without any shipping info or warning at all my BL 15 came in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!! I am order #1624 ordered on April 2nd and got my sub in perfect condition today April 26th. Don't even have a box made... Thought it would take a lot longer to get it here.

i just have one 1 18 btl and im hugely satisfied with it. it plays the lows so hard compared to the 2 12 l7s i had before. i think the btl isnt louder in the higher freq but the lows oh my god thats awesome! now i have the chance to sell my btl and im thinking of getting 2 18 Qs in a sealed 9 cft. box because im very impressed by the sq of the btl (although the box i have is crap, less than 5 cft after displacement). is there a comparable sub to the Q? like alpines type x? amp is a bxi 2610. the Qs would run at 1 ohm (2,6 kw rms).

soo i have looked all over and i cant figure out how i should wire my sub to my amp.. i have a rockford fosgate t3001bd and a fi btl 18 fully loaded.... should i do it one ohm and how would i wire my sub and amps down to one ohm.. ohms are extremly confusing to me edit- and my sub is dual 2 ohm

Hi, I am completely inexperienced with electrical stuff and have a question about which amp would be better. I have a F-150 extended cab and am planning on getting rid of the back seat to open up a whole lot of a room for a box because I am tired of little systems and am looking to go "all out" this time around. Q 12" next an Alpine Type-E 12" HA I'm 21, never done much wood/mdf work, and this is the first time I've ever attempted building an enclosure. Fortunately, it's going in that narrow little trunk hole in the rear of my 4th gen Camaro, so the shape of the enclosure is pretty simple. I am currently beginning an installation for my 2002 Ranger super cab. I will be running two BTL 12's in this install. I would like some opinions on this setup. Some people may think im crazy for putting this into a small space. But I live by the rule get loud or go home. Let me know what you all think about how this will turn out and how hard it will be hitting.

I purchased a new pair of 10" RE MT recones and the surround is about a full inch from the surround landing on my 12 spoke baskets. I've only seen RE MT subs built with 12 spokes so my question is are the recones faulty or are there different size 12 spoke baskets? Mine are just black 10" 12 spokes with the correct size spider landing (8.25 I believe) I e-mailed about this on wednesday and haven't received any response. Just want to know if i need new baskets or if i need to return the recones.

hi today i was playing deep bass for like 20 minutes and after i gave the sub a break i touched the fi cap and it was pretty warm is this ok?? if i had played it for a lil longer would the sub had blown up???or do i have to break in my sub???im running a rockford fosgate p8002 amp and its sopuse to put out like 950 rms only. I tought a fi could take more than that if i got all the options thanks.

Thought I would share some of my install pics on my Chrysler 300. This was built to be a SQ car and the whole theme was to make the car to appear as factory as possible and able to return the car back to factory when that need arrises. There are only 2 factory pieces that will need to be replaced to return it to that form. the dash bezel, A pillars are the only thing modified that cannot be returned to house the factory equipment. the doors were not cut into, actually the factory speaker grills were plastic welded in place and we can simpliy remove the buildouts and reweld them back into place. I currently have two 1ohm stable amps, soon to have my two dual 1ohm subs, I wanna strap my amps to have a final 1ohm load per amp, I understand that that when strapping final load is split in half, so when I wire it, would I wire each sub individually series/parallel so each sub is 2ohm? Just wanna make sure I got this right first time strapping So basically Step 1= series/parallel Step 2= + of each sub to + on master Step 3= - of each sub to + on slave Final ohm per amp 1ohm.........I think??
