Hello Everyone, First, I need to give a special thanks to Nick @ Fi for helping me choose my first Fi Audio Subwoofer (Q12) and making the experience one of a kind. Now on to the sub...WOW, if this thing sounds half as good as it looks I am so in for a treat. I am so impressed with the build quality and down right size of this thing. I have always used Digital Designs for subs, but with my S2000 I needed something that would work in virtually NO space so I began surfing forum after forum for an answer. Needless to say, Nick was able to fit me into a perfect sub to match my build limitations. I am currently located in LA and we are obviously missing out on the Fi expe…

I don't understand what is happening with my order ? People receive their subs after just one month. I know Shawn has some health issues, Fi is moving (or has moved),...etc It's the third order I make from Fi. But this one is the longest. Everything has been paid and cleared on 06/15/2012 with Paypal. I received some emails since, and the last ones were like "they are done, now it's packaging time", "Fedex told me the adress is not valid" !!! (sent another one !),... But still nothing. I know / think they did not took the money and went away with it. I helped a friend for this order, he trusted me on this one even when I told him it would be very long (a little more than…

I was leaning towards getting the Sundown Audio 1200 for when I purchase two Fi Audio SSD12 subs. But came across the Audioque AQ1200D. Is the Audioque AQ1200D a suitable amp to run for the SSD12 subs? AQ1200D: 510X1 @ 4 ohm, 870X1 @ 2 ohm, 1200X1 @1 ohm SAX 1200D: RMS power, 1 ohm mono 1200W x 1CH RMS power, 2 ohm mono 720W x 1CH RMS power, 4 ohm mono 360W x 1CH

I'm desperately seeking a recone kit for my Avalanche 15. I've had several people suggest that Fi Audio might be able to help me. Scott is a name that has been mentioned on a few occasions as well. Can anyone get me in contact with Scott, or help me find a recone kit? TIA!!!

Alright.. first of all excuse my terminology.. probably use some 'wrong' terms in this post, bare with me here is some backround.. 1 18"BTL, 1 SAZ1500D, 2 Kinetik HC2000's, all 1/0 knu wire. Had some guy build a box for me.. thought he knew what he was doin.. i could have been wrong.. the box seems strong.. very huge. I dont know the exact Cu Ft of the box, he told me tuning was around 32hz. This is my first big system.. ive had tons of 12's but no 15's or 18's. Im going to set my voltage with a DMM here in a little while (post my math under for verification). 1) This BTL is insane.. the output blows me away.. hits so damn hard when it hits.. but as far as musical its j…

Thought I would share some of my install pics on my Chrysler 300. This was built to be a SQ car and the whole theme was to make the car to appear as factory as possible and able to return the car back to factory when that need arrises. There are only 2 factory pieces that will need to be replaced to return it to that form. the dash bezel, A pillars are the only thing modified that cannot be returned to house the factory equipment. the doors were not cut into, actually the factory speaker grills were plastic welded in place and we can simpliy remove the buildouts and reweld them back into place. There was not a single factory wire cut in the car, if one needed cut a n…

The reason way is that the sub just doesn't sound the same. Dont know why but its weird. Anyway thank you guys and have a good day. Im lookin for overall LSQ like the sub was intended to be. thanks Brian

Posting for a friend..he's had his BTL for week....and we are both kinda curious how this happens and if there is any type of warrenty, figuring the VC is still 100% fine, the sub still plays and all. P.S. I can't seem to get a response from Scott....I still need a shim to align the gap and one screw to mount the basket to the motor (had to use an easy out on one of them).

OK well i had this box i made in my single cab pick up for my single cab pickup and well atm its tuned pretty low....i hit lows real badass...but the highs suck. SOOooo i am going to go ahead and make a new box that will be tuned differntly. What do you all prefer i mean i want loud bass that can be felt and heard. THe lows can be felt nicely and i can do small window shakes but i was told if i tune the box higher it would hit harder but of course lose sq.... I was thinking of tuning my box to 36. The subs btw are 2 Fi Bl 12'. Well the question i am really asking i guess is what would i achieve if i tune the box low(30) compared to high(37) My videos here http://www.youtu…
