So.....I just installed the 4 Q15's in a sealed enclosure (8.6ft^3 after displacement) running on a IA 40.1. The car is a '07 Dodge Magnum, a 140amp Alt, and a 2nd NSB90 Battery. The meter was an AC, but it was recently calibrated and actually metering about 3 db lower then the other one I was previously metered on...(not that that reallly means anything) anyways, I hit 163.5db outlaw and 162.1db legal. I am competing tomorrow on another AC, and I'll let you know how I score there.

I want a lot of SPL in my vehicle. Not to sure what I want to do here. Should I go with 2 15" BTL's or 4 15" BL's??? Why?? Please help me decide on this question, thanks very much in advance.

I am about to order a recone for one of my 2005' XXXs and had a few questions about the recone itself. I know you have reconed alot of these woofers over the years and was wondering if you change the recone composition at all(besides your cone) when compared to the stock XXX composition? Will the woofer still have it's 1500-1600rms capability? Will the recommended enclosure change at all? I was able to effectively salvage the original XXX full face dust cap. Can it be re-used with your recone? In addition to the woofer I am about to recone, I received another misaligned 2005' XXX motor in the purchase. Do you have the ability to re-align the motor and would you be willing…

ok so today i just recieved my brand new FI BL 15! i was so excited to see the box from FI, unable to contain my excitement i opened it up instantly and what i found was some great packing! wood bottom and top and 2x4's and some nice foam but once that top board came off i found that the dustcap wasnt the color i ordered(not a big deal to me at all).... but the thing that worries me is.. is it actually my sub? or did they just mess up the dust cap color? i ordered ice blue and got red(once again no big deal) just worried its not the right one, i ordered a fully loaded BL and the invoice is correct i know that. just worried it might be the wrong sub...

Well, first post here. I'm a long time member of caraudio.com/forums, but browse here frequently. So basically, I just bought a BTL off ca.com and want to know if it'll still be able to use it. It has a snapped tinsel lead and some holes burnt in the spider (see pics below). I was wondering if you guys think i'll be able to just replace the tinsel leads and use it like it is. I asked quite a few people over at ca.com about it, and most seemed to think I would be able to get away with just doing that. Obviously, i don't know much about recones/repairing subs. how many hertz should i tune fi n3 12 subs box to the fs around 50 i was thinking around 46 hertz any suggestions cubit feet? oh and its going to be in a back seat of a toyota celica gt 90 not a hatchback so limited on space fi doest say frequency and the fi 's cubic recomendation seems low for the n3s?

I don't understand what is happening with my order ? People receive their subs after just one month. I know Shawn has some health issues, Fi is moving (or has moved),...etc It's the third order I make from Fi. But this one is the longest. hi ive owned a fi bl 15 fully loaded for like 5 or six months I love it. last week I notice a weird noise coming from the sub and today it stop playing, im running a fosgate p8002 amp witch is around 900 rms and a pioneer head unit gain is set half way , well I took the sub out of the enclosure and one of the tinsel leads broke I have a soldering gun and I fixed it back but the problems from the noise is the spider that came loose from the cone so since I have a one year warranty on the sub what do I need to get it repair,,, please help I love the my bl a lot better than my other Rockford fosgate t215d2 right now i have Extreme Leads on the sub and thats was eating …

ok so my order status has changed to awaiting fullfillment. I may be a dumbass for asking this but does this mean my sub is in the process of being built?!? Just want some clarity on the subject.

I'm wondering how long does it take to get a refund for an order. I want the driver but I can't wait any longer for it. As I have out of town business to attend to. So how long. Has any one ever had to wait to get a refund from FI before? So far that is the only part of my build missing and I already missed a local show because my driver is late. I ordered the glue from Fi with my recone kits and it arrived with some sort of activator. Any ideas on how to use this in the recone method? Thanks

First my brothers now mine and I've read of several others... So of course I had to go about fixing it... Alright pair of fi bl 12's just came in. Just showing some sweet pics and one question about the subs. I ordered them with cooling and the flatwind option. How can ther be a Fi dealer in Guadeloupe? They sell Team Fi subs, SP4's,...It's a French Caribbean island, near mine. We have a few people buyin Fi subs now. The installs are coming. I don't know the pricing yet, though.

Is it comparable to the Q or BL? i just want 1 12" sub that will sound nice and still get loud in a ported box. this is my first option. Or i would get 2 12" CV vmax. either would be powered by a kicker zx750.1(900rms) Opinions?

Was thinking of inverting my BTL UFO 12" as the cutout diameter is the same size as the motor. Should I compensate box volume for this action? I may want to revert it normally in the future, but I have a show on the 17th that I will be attending and would like to show this beast motor off. Space is not an issue, as I am downsizing from my previous enclosure for my zcon. Is there an audible motor noise that comes with this? downsides?

i have a btl 15 last years model just ordered this years model (n2) trying to get a box build for both the subs but dont know if all the measurements are the same just need some info thanks........
