hi ive owned a fi bl 15 fully loaded for like 5 or six months I love it. last week I notice a weird noise coming from the sub and today it stop playing, im running a fosgate p8002 amp witch is around 900 rms and a pioneer head unit gain is set half way , well I took the sub out of the enclosure and one of the tinsel leads broke I have a soldering gun and I fixed it back but the problems from the noise is the spider that came loose from the cone so since I have a one year warranty on the sub what do I need to get it repair,,, please help I love the my bl a lot better than my other Rockford fosgate t215d2 right now i have Extreme Leads on the sub and thats was eating …

This might seem really horrible to start a forum about, but I feel like it is needed. I emailed FI through there contact tap asking questions about the Subwoofer I wanted to order. I waited a couple days and got no response(still nothing today). So I figured maybe it didn't send, or you know something happened and they didn't receive it. how many hertz should i tune fi n3 12 subs box to the fs around 50 i was thinking around 46 hertz any suggestions cubit feet? oh and its going to be in a back seat of a toyota celica gt 90 not a hatchback so limited on space fi doest say frequency and the fi 's cubic recomendation seems low for the n3s?

I don't understand what is happening with my order ? People receive their subs after just one month. I know Shawn has some health issues, Fi is moving (or has moved),...etc It's the third order I make from Fi. But this one is the longest. How can ther be a Fi dealer in Guadeloupe? They sell Team Fi subs, SP4's,...It's a French Caribbean island, near mine. We have a few people buyin Fi subs now. The installs are coming. I don't know the pricing yet, though.

Im going to get a Fi Q 12 dual 2 and was curious what options I should go for. I am powering it with a Sundown SAX-1200D parallel. Thinking about doing the big 3 upgrade I already have the 1/0 hyperflex but I have a new 2010 A4. Runing 8g from the battery to the trunk in the amp. Again, What options should I go for with a ported enclosure about 2.3 cubes.

I'm wondering how long does it take to get a refund for an order. I want the driver but I can't wait any longer for it. As I have out of town business to attend to. So how long. Has any one ever had to wait to get a refund from FI before? So far that is the only part of my build missing and I already missed a local show because my driver is late. Here is my install of 4 Fi X12's. Not any pics ome building the box, I was kinda in a hury but I have the finished product. Installed in a 1990 GMC Sierra ext cab long box, KnuKonseptz 1/0 gauge wire from batt to dis block, 4 gauge from dis block to amp. All 8 gauge inside sub box (I know, it's over kill.), Box is 8.2 cu ft after all displacements, port is 6.5"x16.5"x19.5" deep, tuned to 33 hertz. I will be installing Pioneer 6x9's and a Kenwood amp that I have. The head unit is Kenwwod. The amp is Power Acoustiks "4000.1". All stock speakers for now.

ok so today i just recieved my brand new FI BL 15! i was so excited to see the box from FI, unable to contain my excitement i opened it up instantly and what i found was some great packing! wood bottom and top and 2x4's and some nice foam but once that top board came off i found that the dustcap wasnt the color i ordered(not a big deal to me at all).... but the thing that worries me is.. is it actually my sub? or did they just mess up the dust cap color? i ordered ice blue and got red(once again no big deal) just worried its not the right one, i ordered a fully loaded BL and the invoice is correct i know that. just worried it might be the wrong sub...

800w @1ohm and the sub would be sealed, flatwind doesn't seem neccessary. also thinking about a Q10 ported because i've always had a thing for single ported 10's. going behind the seat of a reg cab Ram, would have around 1-1.25ft sealed, or up to 1.25 net ported.

I emailed Scott@Fi for the box dimensions. Is it true that if i use those dimensions, its a prefab box? Someone told me. If i use FI's box dimensions, is that like buying a box right off the shelf?

Ok i just installed my system yesterday... Its not hitting at all. They guy at the shop said that it needs to break in a little bit before he adjusts it? I have a sundown sae 1200d and all 0 gauge wiring. Is it not hitting becuase its not adjusted right? I know that 1500 watts rms is ALOT of bass and should be LOUD, but its not hitting. So is it because the adjustment on the amp?

I ordered the glue from Fi with my recone kits and it arrived with some sort of activator. Any ideas on how to use this in the recone method? Thanks

I have a Rockford 1000bd, and I'm getting a box made 2.0cu ft tuned to 33hz. What sub will have a better output as far as SPL. 12" Fi Bl or (underpowered) Btl? The reason that I ask is because I don't want to spend the money to get a HO alt for this particular car. Volvo 1996 960. I currently have a 120 amp alt. I have a Pioneer Premier w3001 1000rms. and before I got the Rockford P1000, I had a Trash ass sony Xplod amp 400rms, which was from my last set up. the trash ass xplod amp and my old Kenwood 3012 400rms, sound completely better than the xplod and Pioneer Premier set up. well thanks to my homies at ups for dropping my 05 xxx. 15. the bottom mag slug has been split all the way around and then shifted over to lock up the vc. sobasically the sub is fudgeed. well i was wondering if you guys can replace the slug, but also take the top assy off in one piece.(the xxx dc is almost priceless)
