Alright guys i have an old box for 2 15's. Its 10 cu.ft tuned to like 33 hz. Im wanting to get some new Btl N2's. But im not sure if i want to stick to 15's or cut the holes out bigger to hold 2 18's. What do you think i should do? Never had 18's. So Im trying to squeeze the most spl's out of it as i can. Also i will be using my Memphis Mojo 4kw amp.

Hello Everyone, First, I need to give a special thanks to Nick @ Fi for helping me choose my first Fi Audio Subwoofer (Q12) and making the experience one of a kind. I just receieved 3 out of 4 of my BTL N2 15s. First, I'd like to say they're super sexy! (even if they do look small next to my BTL 18s lol) I'm just wondering if there is a delay or if I can get at ETA on my fourth sub?

So i got my FI Q back from a recone like 2 weeks ago. and since it's been hooked up i hear like a rattling type of sound when the bass hits during the majority of songs (some sound fine usually the loud bass songs) i went next to the sub to hear where it was coming from and it sounds like it's coming from the sub itself any idea as why this would be happening? Also if i put my back seats up (my box sits flush with the back seats so the sub faces the cabin while i drive so with the seats up the sub is touching the back seats limiting it's excursion) the sound dissapears and it sounds like clean bass on any song but since it is limiting it's excursion it is noticeably quiet…

Will the 10" FI X be ok in about .80ft^3, or is that too large for sealed? I bought a prefabbed subthump box for another sub and have decided I would rather use the FI X. This is going under the rear seat of my CC Sierra. I don't mind cutting an end off the box and closing the box up a little bit if necessary! Or would I be better off opening up the sub hole and putting an FI X 12" instead? I only have 6.5" of mount depth before the magnet touches the bottom of the box. Thoughts or opinions on this?

hey just recently got my btl 12 (quite the beast lol) and everything was all good until i got this dude to build my box...he "supposedly" contacted fi and got the box layout for my car which is a 92 camaro but i have my doubts...so its hooked up and the car shakes a lil bit but i can barely hear any bass...not sure if that makes sense but its kinda like its free airing even though its in the box...another thing is when i turned my amp up (aq2200) it made a like tapping noise like it wuz bottoming out or something, not really sure thats why i posted this also but is that another affect of the box cuz the impression i got from all the reviews was that the btl would take the…

Just noticed they are up, but why no 18?

I don't know if this has been talked about on here or not, so I apologize in advance if it has. I was doing a little research on what sub(s) I would like to put in my new car. I was thinking about going with a SSD and when I got on the fi site I saw that it says neo ssd's coming soon or something along those lines. I'm pretty interested, so I figured I'd post here to find out more about it. Besides weight, will switching to neo magnets change the ssd's performance much?(if so how?) Do you guys have an idea when it will be available for purchase? And lastly how will the change effect pricing?

Hi guys, I installed my 12" BTL N2 2 days ago. The box is ported to 32 Hz, 2.1 ft3. I run a Sundown saz 1500 at 1 ohm. Last night I took time to test this setup and I was surprised to hear a strange sound at the highest volume. I kept the exact same settings than with my previous setup (1 ssa xcon 15" on the same amp). On a certain note on a song from Mike Jones a weird sound is coming from the sub, and not in the port. On low bass notes there is no problem, but on a higher note the sub reacts badly : how can I describe it ? Like a sheet of paper moving ! It's scarry. I need to turn down the gain on the amplifier. I am currently in the process of building my dream system in my dream car (1970 olds). My experience with sound systems is limited to small amps and subs, never anything as big or expensive as I am attempting now. I am purchasing 2 12'' dual 1 ohm BTLs (as an spl driver) with all the trimmings and the option in the recommended enclosure shown in the cut sheets that are provided in the Tech forum.
