So my grandfather comes down for a visit in his new car, one of those two seater fast driving Caddy's, nice car. He sits and listens to my system, seems to love it. Out of no where this 72 yr old throws me in his car and cranks up his radio. He has an SQ setup using 3 10" eclipse subs (not sure what type, but nice), and two sets of Rainbow Germaniums. That stuff sounded nice. For the first time I was listening to something that didn't just throw out so much bass that is almost all you could hear. Been a member since I ordered my 2 stock spec SSD 12's a couple of weeks ago. I have noticed most people tend to go for BL's and BTL's. So all you fellow SSD owners let's see what you got and how you like them. Pics and videos would be nice too! Info on spl numbers, what kinda box you're running, auto make and model, etc.... Anything you wanna share. Mine come tomorrow so I won't have them in the car for a couple of weeks while I run new power wire and build the box. Def taking some pics though. ok well i accidentally sent scott an email about this, my bad, but ill post it on here for you all to read. can you recone a soundstream T4 15. its D2 coils right now, and i think they are 3 inch coils. one seems to be shorting out and smoking up the trunk. if so, how much for a kit shipped to me and how much to send to sub to you to do it? thanks.

I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000-1bd amplifier and I am looking for a good quality subwoofer. What would be the best 12" subwoofer for me to get for around 1000 watts rms if I am looking for sound quality with decent spl? I have a bassworx 12" ported subwoofer enclosure that is tuned at 42hz and is about 1.65 cu ft. I want to get an Fi Q 12" subwoofer but the recommended tuned frequency on it is between 28 and 33hz with a recommended minimum volume of 1.75 cu ft. I was wondering how much this would affect my subwoofers performance and its quality?

i have one ssd 10 and i was wondering if a 2cubic foot box would be too big if the recommended size is 0.6-1.2 cubic feet

Alright, tore out my 4.8cuft ported box for the Q and stripped out amps and all. I am now going to start the new build. In this build will be a pair, maybe two, of Hybrid audio legatia L1 tweets, a pair of hybrid's L4 mids, a 15" Q, 3-4 amps, and a pair of 8" mid-bass, not yet determined from who though. System will be setup actively using my alpine HU feeding the awesome fosgate 3sixty.2 processor. Im ordering 2 18" Bls running off my one kicker 2500.1 i already have one order and i m about to get my second one ordered. i want to know who is Also Running 2 18's of any series of Fi audio. and how does it sounds. ive never ran 18's before and im very curious on how they perform.

Hey guys, I was out at a local SPL 2x Show here and ran my Q 18's Off my JBL BP1200.1 in a 16.8CuFt box Tuned to 25Hz (Its made for LSQ not SPL My highest was a 143.7dB @ 36Hz !! Taking 1st in Street Max 1-2 NW And in bass Race I was competing in the semi finals and finished in 3rd with an average of 134.7 in the 139.9 runs It was awesome, i love these subs they are bottom end beasts... Next show in sept im gonna try an SPL box for em to see how they do tuned higher with more power.. I cooked my JBL on the Last run hehehhehe

Alright guys i have an old box for 2 15's. Its 10 cu.ft tuned to like 33 hz. Im wanting to get some new Btl N2's. But im not sure if i want to stick to 15's or cut the holes out bigger to hold 2 18's. What do you think i should do? Never had 18's. So Im trying to squeeze the most spl's out of it as i can. Also i will be using my Memphis Mojo 4kw amp.

Need some help, I have an 09 Silverado ext cab truck, and currently I have 2 type r 10's and a PA BAMF 2000/1 amp, the box is tiny, fits under the back seat and down fires (sealed .6cuft each sub) . My buddy with the exact same truck, just put in the same box with JL 10w3's and a JL Slash 500/1 amp. His system KILLS mine!! My type r's sound terrible. I thought it was the small box but a local shop told me it was most likely the crappy amp that I have. So, I have decided to throw my current set up in the trash and do it right this time. Alright.. first of all excuse my terminology.. probably use some 'wrong' terms in this post, bare with me here is some backround.. 1 18"BTL, 1 SAZ1500D, 2 Kinetik HC2000's, all 1/0 knu wire.
