I just looked at my woofers, and noticed the "Chrome Red Fi" is coming off the cone. It isn't peeling from the edge (like at tip of the F or I as if something peeled it back) It is coming from the middle part of the logo as it bends over the dust cap. It almost seems like the foil-ish vinyl is flexible enough to follow the curve of the dust cap? I think standard vinyl would have been fine? Anyway, anyone else have any issues like this? Is it possible to get replacement logo stickers for the dust caps?

here's a small vid since I never got around to it before http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u175/ha...igherresvid.flv ok, I have no IDEA where to start, 1st I'd like to thank Scott and the guys at FI for helping me while in a helpless situation! OK, these weren't your average recone, they had to machine adapter plates to get the 12 spoke baskets even compatible with my motors because the bolt patterns aren't the same... they had to tap them so the 12 spoke basket could be screwed into the spacer/adapter and drill through holes so I could bolt the adapter to the top plate of my motors.... THEN, there was a mishap in shipping and the original recones/basket/parts and my FI…

Since this is where I usually get replied to(I've only ever gotten one reply to an email) I figured I'd put this here. I know you guys are busy putting out the new BTL line, so I'm not faulting you here I just want to know: What is the status of my recone? It's been a month and I havn't gotten any word. And as far as I can tell your normal turn around is 2 weeks on recones. I packaged my motor well and included what I wanted done printed on a slip of paper, and even emailed you the same info. Name on the package/paper is Richard McCraw and it was from Pittsboro NC. Any info would be helpful, thanks guys.

So I went through the elaboration of the two and am still confused. I will be running a DD Z1 on 2 - 12" BTL's...... I will be using them for daily street beating, and competing on the weekends. I will not be changing anything around (besides port frequency).... Options that I have chosen thus far: 3rd Magnet HiXmCoil So, do I want the cooling or P chamfer??? in advance

Went to lunch today and when I got back to the office there are 2 big boxes on the doorstep. I didnt realise anything until I saw the USPS logo on the boxes and I know that is may package. As I carried it onto my desk I realised that the sub nearly fell off. After opening it I saw the packaging was terrible. I'm not sure whether it was originally packed that way or the someone else opened it to have a look as there were signs that the box was already opened. Well I am just grateful that the sub make it without any cosmetics defect though. Anyway thanks Scott for the subs and I cant wait to built a home for it. I'll post pics tommorow. This sub will go into a 3.5 cu. ft. a…

Sorry for all of the NooB questions lately. I'm just undecisive right now. I do know I want to go with the BTL drivers, but not sure which combination. I have the budget, I have the space required. I'm not sure if I want 2 15" BTLs with 2k each or 1 18" btl with 3000-3500 to it. How do the Btl's compare to the MTX 9500 and the JL W7? Personally, I dont care for the JL, but I love the 9500s. Vehicle we're looking at is a big ol expedition. Plenty of room for something nice and loud. Not to sound childish, but I want something so loud, i can barely sit in the vehicle with it at max - if at all. i put a 15" 9500 in the back of a prelude once, and it was plenty loud then. - …

Title says it all...I have a Crunch GP3000D and would love to move up to an 18" Fully Loaded BTL but I'm concerned it may not be able to handle the power...box is still up in the air, I have MORE than enough space to work with (almost 9 cubes) Right now the electrical is a 235A DC Power alt, big 3, and yellowtop under the hood. So before I proceed with any plans, with an 18" Fully loaded take 3kw daily without problems?

From left to right: Standard pole cut out of bar stock prior to being turned down. Middle is a pole with a Pchamfer on it. Right is the 'Hyper pole' option on the new BL's. We do all of this here in house on either one of the CNC's or Lathes depending on the part...just an infinite amount of flexibility of what we 'can' do .

I am going to purchase some FI subs. I am looking at 2 15's. I have been looking at the Sp415's but have been seeing alot of people have been going with the BL series. Now the BL N series is the neo mags which increase the cost. this is for my daily driver. I like my music loud. Here is some back story to where I am at. I went to a shop that took good care of me 10 years ago but all they wanted to sell me was JL audio. I think that is great equipment. Just not wanting to follow the heard. He sold me an alpine HD-137BT Head unit, 4 gauge amp wiring kit, JL 500/1, Arc Audio ARC 12d4 sub in sealed 1.25 cuft box. I have added polyfill, and had to turn up bass boost to …

Im looking into buying 2 15''s from Fi, the BL or the BTL. The only problem is since BTL is regarded somewhat as a SPL sub, Im curious if sound quality is lost in the process. So my real question is, do the BTLs have decent sound quality (in a well built box of course) and also how do the BL's sound?

Right now I am planning on running 3 10" BL or Q's in a ported enclosure at about 3.2cuft or so after displacement and such, ran off a Sundown 3000. I am not entirely sure which to use, BL's or Q's and would like to know the major differences between the two in order to help my decision. Thanks

I was hoping to get this resolved in a different manner. I sent my FI Q 12 in for repair at the beginning of June. Mr Shawn said he would fix it because it was under warranty. I emailed him in the beginning, and he said they were going to ship it back soon. Then I started getting no email responses. Long story short, it has been 5 months since I sent it in. This is a bit ridiculous. I paid good money for a good product. I JUST WANT MY PROPERTY BACK.

Customer service > 10/10 (Scott and Nick, thanks for being so helpfull, they will reply to your emails when they have time, remember their really hard all day and dont have time replying to 50 emails a day from people that have no patience and want to know where their sub is every second of the day) Shipping time > 9/10 (It wasnt Fi's fault but I guess no one should use USPS, they claimed the package was something like 8 ounces over weight.....uhhhh ahhhhhh.... so it got sent back to Fi, I was tempted to email Fi and ask them where my sub is haha, but I pulled myself out of doing it so many times, because I didnt want to seem like those people that complain every s…
