Just wanted to drop a line about the guys at Fi Audio. I ordered my Q12 on April 4. I just recieved an email that FedEx picked my package up today and should be delivered to me at the latest by Friday. Not a bad turn around time, took exactly 16 business days for it to go through the build process. I got an email last Thursday that they finished all the steel and were waiting for the motor to dry. I wasn't expecting the assembly to go that quickly. I had excellent customer service since day 1 and I would tell anyone contemplating like I was doing to just buy it already, you won't regret it. I just tried to get a recone for a BL and it wouldn't go through, it goes to a blank page and has the price for the shipping and thats it. It didn't connect to paypal yet. Is it just me?

Hello everyone, ok so i had just bought a 2005 honda civic a few days ago and want to put my 12" bl and my aq2200 in it. The honda civic has a 70a alt (terrible yes i know) and a 500 cca 85m reserve battery in it. what im wanting to do is the big 3 which i have my 0g on its way to my house and then upgrade the battery for now because i need to save up for a 170a dc alt. I purchased my first 18" fully-loaded BTL in August I believe... waited for my 20.1 to come in. Got the 20.1... and we built a 10 cube ported box, tuned to 30hz in the trunk of my 1996 Chrysler LHS. I gained close to 6 decibels going from an 18" SX and an Orion 1200D to an 18" BTL and a 20.1. So when I first got my 2 12" btl's they got low and loud. I have had them almost a month and now they don't sound the same. It's late so I havent put a dmm on the so I don't know if something happened with the coils but I never smelt anything. One day they were hitting real low and I thought I heard a pop but they still sounded great, may I have over done it? Any ideas???

Okay so i went to Freemans Audio today to give the guy my idea of what i wanted to do with the box. I arrived with the intention of sealing off the trunk and having the sub faced towards the cabin.... the guy said that it would be better to have it in the trunk facing the trunk becuase it would resonant off the trunk, if it fired into the cabin, i would be the first thing it hit... For "my way" wouldnt there be less trunk rattle and it be louder to there ear? versus "his way" would have more trunk rattle and some of the sound would be sealed in the trunk??? My BTL is fully functional; however the cone is horribly dusty and dirty from the previous owner. Any ideas on how to clean it? Didn't wanna wipe it, as moisture seems like a dangerous thing to apply to a paper cone.

Today I met a guy (goes buy oldschool on termpro) who does like 155.9 with two twelves in db drag. Well personally I wouldnt want to compete with him *street b* so i was looking at doing a street a setup but i have heard that the 10" btl's are not musical that they are just for burps only. So a few questions: 1> How musical are they??? 2> How much power can they handle??? (looking @ 2000 watts right now) 3>Would doing one 12, or 3 8" be better???

i was reffered to you my "Black00" i am looking for subs that do StreetBeat/BassRace for a wall i prefer 15" but am open to doing 12" i have heard people discussing Fi @ Spl competitions in Dallas & Ft Worth Tx but have never seen an Fi sub go live... seems to be a killer looking sub . what do you recomend... i am in a 1996 Chevy X-cab w/rear seat removed. amps are mounted to the rear wall bass amp is a Massive P3000.1 1ohm per ch 2ohm bridged

Is there any time frame on these to be available? As in a month. Two months. Longer? Just been looking around and can't find any estimates in the past few months.

why is ther such a difference in the motor strenght=bl between the d1 and d2 version of the bl subs

I havent been on this forum in months so I did a lil update I am currently running 2 btls on 2 audioque 2200's. The subs are D/2 fully loaded. I have a 220 iraggi alt. The big 3, 4 kinetik 2400 batts and 1 yellow top under the hood. Here is a couple pics of the equip stripped from the car getting ready to upgrade. Now the question I was going to run the subs just 1 sundown 3500 wired to .5 ohms (just til I get the money to buy a second amp).But I read in another thread that it is hard on the subs. I didnt know that i thought it was only hard on the amps if your electrical couldnt back it up.

Since the X series has been discontinued, are you guys going to make another line of subs which take less power than the ssd's? i really want to pick up some X's but cant right at this moment.

Sorry to say that there will be email and "some" order delays from today through Monday 10-16 due to several of the Fi staff attending the 3 dB Drag world finals shows through the US. We will have 2 people on staff running some production but the balance of the shop will be "closed" through then. We will resume normal production and emails on Tuesday and get things back up to speed and make sure that all orders are filled ASAP. Hi there i have an 18" BTL the older style one with the tripple magnet and while taking out the whole system so i could design a new box i pulled out the sub from the old box and spotted that the spider on the btl was ripped in about 2-3 places 1 of them being a noticeable rip and the other 2 look like there about to rip and also i found out that where the spider is glued to the cone the spider was coming unglued in a few places. I wanted to know does this mean that i need a re-cone or is it salvageable, pictures are below, the pictures below are of the major rip one Thanks
