I purchased my first 18" fully-loaded BTL in August I believe... waited for my 20.1 to come in. Got the 20.1... and we built a 10 cube ported box, tuned to 30hz in the trunk of my 1996 Chrysler LHS. I want the sub to hit pretty hard but I prefer SQ over SPL. My idea is to build a sealed enclosure in the 1.2 cu Ft range for one 12" Fi Q w/ the BP option but the dilemma I have is that I have …

What the hell does this thing weight??? If I had to guess I guess from between 70-80 LBS.... Mine came today and I had it shipped to my Mom and Dad's house as I knew someone would be home to sign for it and take it in vs @ my house the UPS guy would leave it on the front porch for the neighbors to carry off.... Or tow away, with the weight of this thing... LOL... I must say, very nice on the packing job... If one of these comes damaged it was from the shippers neglect, not FIs.... Just a few more things (head unit, rest of the wire and some sound deadener) and I'll have everything... Still hoping for March or early April to have everything...

Hi all, I have built two 120 L cabinets two drivers per box in a dual opposed configuration (drivers facing out) I have been told that the std Qts drivers can sound peaky ? Can someone explains to me the term PEAKY. I have four Fi Q 15" first two orderd was dual 1 ohm but the second set I orderd later was dual 2 ohm so I will be having these changed back to dual 1 ohm as this suits my inuke amps. So it it worth having all my drivers changed to High Qts or is there not much difference between them ?? Thanks for any input

Alright. We all know i am always proposing new ideas for my future car. But I think I have my heart set on this. I just want to thank Fi car audio for all the help they have given me. For those that dont know the story here it is.... At WF 06, I needed my atomics reconed and didnt have the materials to do it, so Scott and the guys said that they would no problem. I dropped off my sub at their room/workshop. Hello everyone, ok so i had just bought a 2005 honda civic a few days ago and want to put my 12" bl and my aq2200 in it. The honda civic has a 70a alt (terrible yes i know) and a 500 cca 85m reserve battery in it. what im wanting to do is the big 3 which i have my 0g on its way to my house and then upgrade the battery for now because i need to save up for a 170a dc alt. Just wanted to drop a line about the guys at Fi Audio. I ordered my Q12 on April 4. I just recieved an email that FedEx picked my package up today and should be delivered to me at the latest by Friday. Not a bad turn around time, took exactly 16 business days for it to go through the build process. I got an email last Thursday that they finished all the steel and were waiting for the motor to dry. Since the X series has been discontinued, are you guys going to make another line of subs which take less power than the ssd's? i really want to pick up some X's but cant right at this moment.

I went from 4 alpine type R 12"s in a sealed box with a Hifonics 2008d Now i have a 15" FI BL with a sundown SAZ-1500d in a ported box tuned to 32hz and it kicks alpines ass, no question. From 4 subs to 1 now its louder, clearer, and has more low end. VERY VERY VERY satisfied!!! thanks! My rear view mirror wont stop slappin, and my doors are all flexing not to mention the roof, quarter panels, and hatch.

My BTL is fully functional; however the cone is horribly dusty and dirty from the previous owner. Any ideas on how to clean it? Didn't wanna wipe it, as moisture seems like a dangerous thing to apply to a paper cone.

Just purchased my sp4 15 from Fi on November 15 and recieved it on December 7! They even slapped on a carbon fiber dustcap for free!! Terrific customer service, and I will be buying from them in the future! Keep up the great work guys!
