scott, i took my sub apart today and when i looked at the coil i found that my voice coil was really scratched up on one side, i dont know if its from me taking it apart or wut. i really doubt its from me taking it apart. i dont know how to put the pic up here so im just gonna email the pic to you. if its something with the magnet or motor i dont want this to happen to my new coils. please let me know wut u think.

I placed order dec 11 its been 5 weeks waiting fulfillment on my status,#757, i know fi's off hollidays, i sent email on fi site no reply i just want to know how much longer i have to wait?

Since the X series has been discontinued, are you guys going to make another line of subs which take less power than the ssd's? i really want to pick up some X's but cant right at this moment.

can i have this two subs in my trunk?/ each one on its own box, and both boxes tuned at 35 hz i was told that two different subs have what its called wave cancellation and that they wont sound good even though they are both great subs, please help help.

Are there any numbers? Street Classes, Street Max, Super Street and maybe Extreme? For example: Competitor name, vehicle, number and models of subs, electrical system and THE SCORE

Is there any time frame on these to be available? As in a month. Two months. Longer? Just been looking around and can't find any estimates in the past few months.

My BTL is fully functional; however the cone is horribly dusty and dirty from the previous owner. Any ideas on how to clean it? Didn't wanna wipe it, as moisture seems like a dangerous thing to apply to a paper cone.

Just purchased my sp4 15 from Fi on November 15 and recieved it on December 7! They even slapped on a carbon fiber dustcap for free!! Terrific customer service, and I will be buying from them in the future! Keep up the great work guys!

I havent been on this forum in months so I did a lil update I am currently running 2 btls on 2 audioque 2200's. The subs are D/2 fully loaded. I have a 220 iraggi alt. The big 3, 4 kinetik 2400 batts and 1 yellow top under the hood. Here is a couple pics of the equip stripped from the car getting ready to upgrade. Now the question I was going to run the subs just 1 sundown 3500 wired to .5 ohms (just til I get the money to buy a second amp).But I read in another thread that it is hard on the subs. I didnt know that i thought it was only hard on the amps if your electrical couldnt back it up.

I just tried to get a recone for a BL and it wouldn't go through, it goes to a blank page and has the price for the shipping and thats it. It didn't connect to paypal yet. Is it just me?

Driving home from work today minding my own business, turning onto another road. Went to give it some gas....hmmm car not moving, look down at gauges ok well everything is at zero....hmmmkay. Stereo still running, ac fan still running. Ahhh tried to start the car while moving but it didn't start......Stop the car, looked around puzzled, looked back in my mirror I see a little smoke, look at the hood oh there is more smoke. First thing that popped to my mind I have no fire extinguisher, and second thing that popped into my mind is that I have no more warranty!!!!! Its been 1 month since I placed my order and sent payment and have not recived the shipping tracking number or my order

I decided to change my set-up. I want to build a forth order bandpass for my two FI SSD 12"s. I think they are the 2008 model. I am putting in my 1995 Impala SS. I plan on porting it through the back deck. Can anyone help me with the numbers I need. Such as the air space volume for the sealed and ported areas. Also for the port (@ 35 hz). I wanted the box to be tuned to 35 hz. I'm trying to get the MOST out of these subs but with All the sound pushed into the cab and not rattling everything aound in my trunk By the way I will be powering them with a Audiopipe AP18001. And if anyone has done any thing similar in my same type car please post pics. Thanks in advance!…

Hi I know that fi only works on recones once a week but I sent my sub in 3 weeks ago and still no news. Just curious as to how long a recone takes on average. Thanks!

I see you have the option for coil, standard, copper, flatwound, exc. How many spiders come with the recone and is this pricing with integrated leads?

Hi there i have an 18" BTL the older style one with the tripple magnet and while taking out the whole system so i could design a new box i pulled out the sub from the old box and spotted that the spider on the btl was ripped in about 2-3 places 1 of them being a noticeable rip and the other 2 look like there about to rip and also i found out that where the spider is glued to the cone the spider was coming unglued in a few places. I wanted to know does this mean that i need a re-cone or is it salvageable, pictures are below, the pictures below are of the major rip one Thanks

What size box do yall recommend

Im looking to buy a FI 15". The sub will be in a jeep. Which application would be the best? I was thinking about the BTL. For the most SPL which options should I add? Also what type of amp should I be looking at? Im not trying to spend a ton on an amp. I found a nice Planet Audio thats 3000@1ohm. Me and a buddy will build the enclosure. Let me know! Also...is the BTL alotttt louder than the BL?

Today I met a guy (goes buy oldschool on termpro) who does like 155.9 with two twelves in db drag. Well personally I wouldnt want to compete with him *street b* so i was looking at doing a street a setup but i have heard that the 10" btl's are not musical that they are just for burps only. So a few questions: 1> How musical are they??? 2> How much power can they handle??? (looking @ 2000 watts right now) 3>Would doing one 12, or 3 8" be better???
