I got my BTL 18 yesterday!! Funny thing is, I never got a tracking number.. As a matter of fact, I checked the invoice page on Fi's website yesterday morning and it still said "Your order is being processed." It still says that now that I've got it haha. Pictures coming up later today! If I wasn't at school I'd put em up right now. So to all people waiting for their Fi sub, don't be too discouraged. It could be at your doorstep when you get home today!

I have a motor from an older eclipse titanium (88120ti), which I believe is a 3hp. It has a 6 bolt pattern, which fi uses, and I want to buy a 15" recone kit from them. I want the sub to be able to have flat freq. response from about 25hz up. I want to use a ported box tuned to about 3cu@28hz. I want the sub to pound on the bass tracks (rap), but also groove on tracks with a bass guitar (r&b,jazz, some rock). If I can get the money, I plan on powering it with an eclipse da7232. So my question, can this be accomplished with this motor and fi soft parts? Also, how big of a difference is there between a ported 15 and a sealed 18?

i was wondering would the Fi Bl 15 in a tuned box be louder in bass then two type r 10's? hmm and what is a good tuning for the Bl 15? 35hz? 32 hz? or 30hz? i was planed on hitting the low lows. were people can here me a block away.. thats why im goin with Fi

I have a bl " running off of a T1000 1bd amp at 1 Ohm my ? is how much more can I through at it and would it hit any harder if I did also would it be worth buying another amp

I recently sold my two Alpine type X 12's and now I want to "upgrade" to a single Fi woofer, 15 inches. I have a string of questions for you all expierienced with Fi products: I have a single Alpine MRD-M1005 to power whatever driver I end up choosing. This amp puts out 1000 watts @ 2 ohms RMS cleanly (amp birthsheet actually states closer to 1100 watts). I see THE the SSD would almost be a perfect match for this power rating, but I feel like im selling myself short. Id really like to get either the Fi BL or the FiQ. If I understand the specs correctly though, these are 1500 watt rms subs. So assuming I dont get any extra upgrades done to the subs, do you think im askin…

I've had a number of people make comments here recently that there are "Others" that "Make speakers in the states"..and it does not take them anywhere near as long as it does us.... Well..they do drop soft parts in the motors, however all of the motors are machined and pre-built (sometimes even pre magnetized) in China..and they get Chinese soft parts dropped into them with an American coil. There are no worth while viable options that can be put in here or any way of giving you a choice to have things how they should be for your installation. If you do not need a dual magneto setup for your top fuel funny car, but just a regular single pro mag..then only pay for the regu…

got a little somethin in the mail today.......im missing my idler pullys but im sure they will come soon or i will scour sacramento tomorrow morning for them!! these are 3 350+ amp alts and one 240........the 240 is to help my "at idle" while the others are for when im rollin Powder Coated black with texture......machined off in certain spots..... Bracket and belt....... ill post more pics after i install.........hopfully i can find some idler pullys so i dont have to wait on them to be shipped! oh did i mention that is almost 1300 amps worth of alt there stay tuned

I made an order on Feb 24 for a long sleeve tee and a hat, and I still havnt recieved the order. The tracking info still says "pre shipment info recieved" or whatever, still in Los Vegas Nevada, and hasn't update at all. Can any Fi people help me out? Would be much appreciated

Hey guys, Im brand new to this forum and hope to be around here for awhile. Now im getting a car very soon and i love sound! So now i need your advice. I dont want to spend as much as the BTL and dont need THAT much power and the amps would cost more. So i would really love to just get the SSD if i knew there wasnt a huge difference between it then the BL. I dont want the Q as there the same price as the BL.. As stated in the other threads, I'll just condense it to this one. We have had an issue with one of our suppliers in either ordering or receiving the wrong size material for the 'side blocks' of the N2 motors. Long story short, we are having to machine down all of these surfaces, which simply takes 1-2 hours per speaker. We did not plan on this happening, but it happened and we have to deal with it. We'll be calling everybody as we have time and are able to and let everybody know the scenario in-between changing parts in the CNC's. We are trying to get them finish machined, in paint and assembled every day. We are hoping to have quite a few more going out by Thursday, Fri…

i 'am new here and i'am i want to know the use and meaning of the additional features of the fi subwoofers the flatwindcoil??? what is it for? coppercoil???? and the BP??? i think the bp is for cooling and increasing the power handling right?? if i will buy an fi do i need to upgrade these stuffs? thanks alot
