Hey guys, Just wanted to say thank you before I start all this out. I have been looking for a good subwoofer now for a few weeks and came to Fi's website and started looking at posts / subs. These seem to be one of the top subs out there for the price. Anyway, just a quick reason for why I am here. My sister died in a car accident about two and a half weeks ago (May 15th) and in her name I would like to build a competition / everyday car. Now I am not saying this for pity or anything like it. I am just trying to start off the reason why I am here. She loved car audio, I was not into it that much. But I would like to get into it. Simply put, I know almost nothing about su…

Hey guys, Well as expected, when I got home from school there was a present waiting for me from Fi. Customer Service First off, I would like to thank Scott, Nick, and all the guys "behinde the sceens" at Fi. They helped me from the day I wanted an Fi, untill the day it as on my doorstep. Although they are very busy, they still make sure you get your questions answered. 10/10 A+ Shipping/Packaging As expected, Fi is very busy with their evergrowing popularity. My 2-3 day rated build time took about 7 days. When it did come, the packaging was great. The sub was not going anywhere with the blue hard foam (see pics), and it was very secure. Box was not damaged at all, and o…

I am really thinking about purchasing a FI BL 15" by this winter. I currently only have a Lanzar Vibe 250 amp. It pushes 1000watts max. 2 ohm stable and 2 channel. I was wondering if it would be ok to power the driver with this amp. I am not looking to spend a lot of money on another amp, i am satisfied with what I have currently. I'd like a BL, because I hear nothing but good things about them, and sounds like something I would like to have. I love loud bass, and my current sub (Cerwin Vega Vmax) isn't doing the work for me. So good choice or not to get a BL? It would be in a 2000 Cavalier, and I would have someone build me a ported box for it.

Hi, guys I just had a quick question. I am in the market for a used 15 in BTL. I was wondering what the differences of the UFO style magnet are vs the newer ones. Is the UFO style 2000w RMS like the current? Also does it still have 28mm of xmax. And can it handle a little bit of overpowering (2400w) like the new style can. Thanks, I really appreciate your help!!!

Just as the title says. Should it be "F.I.", or pronounced "fye" (as in rhyming with pie)? Don't wanna sound stupid when I'm showing off my system. Won't believe anyone until nick responds

Ladies/Gents... I talked Scott into doing a Black Friday sale!!! This Friday (midnight to midnight)! We are offering BL's with FREE cooling and flat wound coils!!!! (60 dollars worth of options per sub!) We also found a pallet of the old X series 12's as well in the midst of moving stuff around in one of the warehouses. We're pricing these at $65 each plus shipping until they are gone. They are only available in Dual 4's as they are already built. Parameters and everything will be back on the site tomorrow. 'Bomb' stickers are going to be $1 'Gear' stickers are going to be $2 Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm a true FI fanatic. Amazing products, and well worth the money. But the customer Service has just been so bad lately that I don't even know if I want to place an order with you guys again.. I just ordered CA glue from your store, JUST to support the brand, because I love your products and I want you guys to continue coming out with great products... I just want to ask... How hard is it to put some CA glue and accelerator in a box and ship it? seriously....

Edit: The option is up on the site. It is an extra $50 to go to the 4" coil. Brings RMS power handling up to 1500W per sub. We were sitting on this one until after the new year, but have decided to release it now given the amount of inquiries we have had regarding 4" coiled subs. We will be adding a 4" coil option to the BL Series by the end of the week. This allows for more thermal capacity over the standard 3" coil. Spec wise it does change things some, but enclosure recommendations will remain the same. In testing (about 9 months back and again last week) we saw some solid gains in the mid band with similar output near tuning to the 3" coiled version. The midban…

I recently sold my two Alpine type X 12's and now I want to "upgrade" to a single Fi woofer, 15 inches. I have a string of questions for you all expierienced with Fi products: I have a single Alpine MRD-M1005 to power whatever driver I end up choosing. This amp puts out 1000 watts @ 2 ohms RMS cleanly (amp birthsheet actually states closer to 1100 watts). I see THE the SSD would almost be a perfect match for this power rating, but I feel like im selling myself short. Id really like to get either the Fi BL or the FiQ. If I understand the specs correctly though, these are 1500 watt rms subs. So assuming I dont get any extra upgrades done to the subs, do you think im askin…

Sad that the windshield imploded before I could get a full burp out of it and show what it can really do maybe next time. So far I have had a IASCA and now a USACi SQ judge say they have never heard music so loud and so clean. Makes me smile all this hard work and tweeking is coming around. Also you will notice I did closed up scores Next time I will do it the official USACi way. Look at the scope below, I was just getting it starting to ramp up when I noticed the window let go.
