hello everyone i am new to the forum and i come from SLOVENIA(europe) i just love MUSIC and good sound (BASS) and i would like to have a 18" subwoofer ....i cant find any good 18" in my country (only some CHINA piece of SH!T).. i read some reviews and saw videos of FI subwoofers ...and i just fell in LOVE in them ... but now the problem ...where to get one ?? hm (www.bladeice.com from UK sells them ..but wait ?? Fi SSD 18" = 229 GBP = 327 EUR = 425 USD = WTF ???..and either way i have to pay +20%tax+shipping) my question to guys from Fi would Fi send the sub(SSD 18) to Slovenia (with UPS) ...how long would it take and COST ??? you would make a VERY HAPPY BASS ADDICT …

Hello all, I've always been a fan of Fi since it came out just from reading the forums and when I first started wanting a system. That was about 3 years ago now I think. I would like to put together a system now but I'm shipping off to college so money is tight at this point in my life. I'm sure this is QUITE impossible but I'de like to not spend more than $500 on either 1-15 or 2-12s including the Amp. I am having the hardest time deciding on a sub/amp combo for my new car. I am putting this in a trunk so space is a factor. I'd like to retain some space. The poll lists some of my top choices. I'm also considering porting a Q 15 with one of the amps listed or even porting the SSDs if I decide I can live without a little less trunk space. So my question to you would be if you were looking for LSQ, which of these setups would you choose? If you would do something else, please tell me what that would be. Just FYI, the electrical you would be working with is a stock electrical featuring a 130 amp alternator.

I'm desperately seeking a recone kit for my Avalanche 15. I've had several people suggest that Fi Audio might be able to help me. Scott is a name that has been mentioned on a few occasions as well. Can anyone get me in contact with Scott, or help me find a recone kit? TIA!!!

So back on 12/7 i received my two 12" Qs and one of them was damaged from UPS! Called up Fi and Scott answered the phone. He told me to just set the damaged sub outside for next day pick up and he would start making a new one. All I have to say is wow, because Fi has already shipped the new sub to me and its only been two days. Thanks Fi your customer service ROCKS!!

So I've searched this subject just can't seem to find an answer. I have a 15" SSD basket and motor(double stack), how can I tell what coil was in it before? I don't want to buy the wrong coil and it not fit as FI says the flatwind coil option has an upgraded motor. Thanks in advance!

I have an older XXX that needs a recone. I sent an email a week or so ago to get paying details for a recone, but I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. It's a 12 inch, and my zip is 33155. But I also have no idea how to ship it without it getting damaged, was wondering if I can just pay to have you ship a box + the wooden crate or however you guys pack it, since I have no idea how to pack this thing myself.

what size box should i build for two 18's the BL's with 1600 rms each going to them. i want to do i square port and subs facing up. dose anyone have any box plans i could use or ideas. it is in the back without rear seats so i have room can go up to 48 wide. thanks for any help

I went from 4 alpine type R 12"s in a sealed box with a Hifonics 2008d Now i have a 15" FI BL with a sundown SAZ-1500d in a ported box tuned to 32hz and it kicks alpines ass, no question. From 4 subs to 1 now its louder, clearer, and has more low end. VERY VERY VERY satisfied!!! thanks! My rear view mirror wont stop slappin, and my doors are all flexing not to mention the roof, quarter panels, and hatch.

I recently clamped my amp for my two BTL N2s, impedance started at .7 (no box rise ftw) and ended up at 4.5 ohms!! That's a huge jump. Dr. Boom also has bad impedance rise, he's only getting 5k out of his 6 SAZ-3500s. Maybe it's just coincidence but I was comparing the BTLs specs to other subwoofers specs and BTLs have a much lower Qes that any other I seen. They still get extremely loud on low power so maybe they are very efficient due to low Qes. Can anyone chime in? Oh, box for mine is 4.2 cubes, 33hz, single 6" aero. Dr Booms, dont know volume, but tuned to 33hz also.

Sorry for the noobness of the question, but I really don't know???? Does it go on top of the rubber rim or inside the rubber rim against the metal frame that the surround attachs to?

So I'm new to this forum, but hoped I could get a little bit of help on an upcoming build I'll be helping a friend out with. He bought an 18" Fi BL which the seller claimed was "fully loaded". And he wants some help building a box for it. My 1st question is there a way to insure what options it was built with, like is there a serial number that can be looked up to see what it was originally bought with or a way you can tell what options it was built with? My next question is what is the optimal enclosure for these assuming it is fully loaded? Well first off I'd like to thank FI for their amazing service up to this point (only been a customer for a few weeks and haven't used your product yet but amazing at answering customer questions and FAST!). I have asked a few times on her about updates of the BTL backorder but what I as a customer would like to see is a thread posted with daily or even weekly updates of different backorder or any other subwoofer issues. Maybe this is a dumb suggestion and you don't have time please don't bash me just wanted to through some input out there for you guys. Would love to know an update as of 8/10. so im thinking about getting a ssd 12 or 15 for christmas so i still got a few mouths to choose but my question is how much of a difference would i hear between a ssd 12 or 15 compared to my alpine type r 10 that i have right now. the amp i have now is a alpine mrp-m500 and idk what amp i would upgrade to. also would i need any upgrades to my electrical its stock right now? my car is a 1997 honda accord.

hey scott or nick or anyone that knows.. when ordering a sub is it possible to have the terminals on the sub swapped out with ones that have a bigger hole to fit a larger gauge of wire? cuz i wanted to use 8 gauge on my Q but it wont fit on the sub
