hello everyone i am new to the forum and i come from SLOVENIA(europe) i just love MUSIC and good sound (BASS) and i would like to have a 18" subwoofer ....i cant find any good 18" in my country (only some CHINA piece of SH!T).. i read some reviews and saw videos of FI subwoofers ...and i just fell in LOVE in them ... but now the problem ...where to get one ?? hm (www.bladeice.com from UK sells them ..but wait ?? Fi SSD 18" = 229 GBP = 327 EUR = 425 USD = WTF ???..and either way i have to pay +20%tax+shipping) my question to guys from Fi would Fi send the sub(SSD 18) to Slovenia (with UPS) ...how long would it take and COST ??? you would make a VERY HAPPY BASS ADDICT …

So I've been doing a lot of reading and looking around and now I'm kind of geared towards one or two Fi Q 12"s. If I go with two I was looking at the Audioque 2200D, but I haven't really looked for an amp if I only go with one, so I'm kind of set on two but I'm worried about it being too loud. What kind of electrical upgrades would I have to do for two of them? Now I was thinking of building my box, I'm debating between ported or sealed, haven't really decided which one I want to go with yet. My max trunk space is 36" wide, 15" high. I can go kind of deep, can't remember the exact measurement right now but how deep would I have to go for a box with that width and height?…

I'm desperately seeking a recone kit for my Avalanche 15. I've had several people suggest that Fi Audio might be able to help me. Scott is a name that has been mentioned on a few occasions as well. Can anyone get me in contact with Scott, or help me find a recone kit? TIA!!!

good set up? im not ready for a ho alt or second battery

so my fi bl 18 is on the way along with my 2400watt amp,,,my cars alt only puts out 105 amps so ill be needing a 2nd battery...i dont wanna do the big 3 tom uch money so how can i hook up a battery??? -can i put the 2nd battery in my trunk??? -if so am i supposed to hook it up to the alt or do i just once in awhile recharge it??? -wtf?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I know nothing outside of Rockford amps. I am getting some BTL's fully loaded and am curious, what would be better to put on each one. The Kicker 2500.1 or the Sundown 3000D? This is for daily driving. Would the extra $400 be worth the extra 500 watts per sub? How good are Sundown, heard Kicker were good. Thanks in Advance

does anyone know the rms of a 12" ssd with bp and fw, d1 ? would it be able to handle a hifonics 1608d amp?

The reason why i ask is i currently have 4 RE SE 15" running off of a T40001bd,, they sound great but im only hitting a 148.3 with them so since i want to brake into the 150's I want to get a second T40001bd and some stronger subs,, thing is i like the way these SE's sound so Im trying to get something strong but that can sound atleast as nice as these SE's..

Hey all, wanted to say thanks for anyone who's helped me out in the past few months. I sold my Xplods and ordered 2 Fi Q 15's moments ago. I'm going to be building a 7cuft ported box tuned to 32Hz and I'm ordering the wiring and amplifier within the next few weeks. So excited I can hardly stand it Meanwhile I am bassless but I think it is worth the wait!

So I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars I was looking at a hifonics bxi 2610d It's a 2600w amp But I'm not sure about hifonics ive had mixed feeling about them. Can anyone help me out?

Hey Fi Audio, I ordered the wrong subs. I wanted the SSD 12'' instead of the IB3 12'' can you guys please switch my order and let me know how to pay for it. Or just use the money i already paid and switch the subs and not worry about the 20$ i owe you . Alright just let me know what i need to do to switch out the orders. I really want the SSDs

Ok, ive been talked into a 18" BTL over the 15".. my price range isnt a ton for an amp to power it. So far the only thing that has caught my eye is a Sundown SAZ1500D, can get it used from a guy down the street from me for about $270 with a few minor scratches... Ive been told HIfonics CAN be good if you get the right one.. what is the right one? IS there any other brands of affordable amps out there? I want the Sundown 2000D or the 3500D but new price is over budget for me.. what do you guys suggest? I ordered a recone and found that i didnt have the money for shipping to the facility, I need to cancel my order for my recone kit and get a refund. I have full intentions to recone the subwoofer, just not right now.

ok i ordered two 12" black "Fi"day x series woofers. should i put them in a ported or sealed box? i can locate the recommended volume. if ported would be better what should i tune the box to. also what should i set my crossover frequency at. i will not use bass boost at all in fact my bass on my headunit will be -2 and 0 on my amp. depending on what i tune my box to i will set my subsonic filter 2hz less than that. i just want the most output possible from the woofers without risking damaging them

So back on 12/7 i received my two 12" Qs and one of them was damaged from UPS! Called up Fi and Scott answered the phone. He told me to just set the damaged sub outside for next day pick up and he would start making a new one. All I have to say is wow, because Fi has already shipped the new sub to me and its only been two days. Thanks Fi your customer service ROCKS!!

I just wanted to say thanks for the Fi apparel! I received the shirts days ago, Monday or Tuesday, but with my work schedule this week I haven't had a chance to get online to post the pictures yet. Scott- it's much appreciated, they fit great, and for the time being fits these guys as well

What size box do yall recommend

The competition at Indianapolis for DBDrag on February 26th had 5 competitors in the Street B class. Including myself, we all had trunk cars. I wasn't planning on running DBDrag (only bassrace) at first cause I found out I'd have to disconnect my rear two batteries for the Street B class. Well then I started watching the qualifying runs and saw three 137s, and one guy with a 140.1. I knew my N2s on my AQ 3500.1 would hit near the 142 range, so I ran to Ace Hardware, bought some bolts, and disconnected my rear batteries. Since I qualified so late, none of the Street B guys even knew I was in there class. I think my qualifying score was a 141.9. When it came time in …

so im thinking about getting a ssd 12 or 15 for christmas so i still got a few mouths to choose but my question is how much of a difference would i hear between a ssd 12 or 15 compared to my alpine type r 10 that i have right now. the amp i have now is a alpine mrp-m500 and idk what amp i would upgrade to. also would i need any upgrades to my electrical its stock right now? my car is a 1997 honda accord.

I know this is WAY out the question, but I would love to see some of Scott's prototypes. I bet their has been some cool looking stuff that just didn't make it to production. Maybe we can get a little peak of some? I could totally understand if its not possible. But maybe some older stuff that doesn't really matter anymore.
