Ok heres the story, my back window had major bubbles and i dont know why, its been perfect for 10 years. Well i got tired of it, plus when the sun gets in just a little you can totally see the ugly rear of the wall which is fairly "raw" . Sorta embarrassing to roll my honda out, hella slammin, tuckin 18's..........but the worlds ugliest tint and behind it a raw backside of a wall. Well today, i broke my back glass out for the glass guy and it only took one sub! Can you believe it! heres the vid: dPApRN97WRs

Curious as to what would get louder. Figure the 2 SSD's would get louder but I have always wanted a BTL. I have tons of space in my man van to use, if I remember, roughly 40 ish cubes for a box. Subs would be powered off a Crescendo 3k. My current electrical system is a stock 90 amp alt, which will be replaced with a 270 amp alt. Have a kinetik HC1400 for the front and a HC2400 for the back, probably pick up another HC2400. So, roughly with that information, and lets say that the BTL and the SSD's are in boxes tuned to 32ish hz, in there ideal space how much louder would the 2 15"s be? Thanks, Luke.

Ok, ive been talked into a 18" BTL over the 15".. my price range isnt a ton for an amp to power it. So far the only thing that has caught my eye is a Sundown SAZ1500D, can get it used from a guy down the street from me for about $270 with a few minor scratches... Ive been told HIfonics CAN be good if you get the right one.. what is the right one? IS there any other brands of affordable amps out there? I want the Sundown 2000D or the 3500D but new price is over budget for me.. what do you guys suggest? Hey, my first post on the board! I like it so far and I expect to be posting a lot more on this forum. I'm very new to car audio, I just got my first set up about 2 months ago. I hahve 2 12 Ultra Linear Subs and 1 1000 XA Eclipse amp, yeah nothing great ( All for sale) My new set up I wanna go with a 15 BTL. Hi all! Finally came to the decision to go with Fi but not sure what model or size to go with. Just trying to get a little input. I'm a daily driver and listen mainly to rap. In the past I've entered in a few local SPL competitions when I had four 12" Diamonds but nothing serious. I'm trying to keep the price around the $300 range. Currently I have two 12" Kappa Perfect VQ's, each in its own 1.75 cu ft slot port box and each powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1505D. 0 awg power wire. 5 farad cap. Exide orbital battery. There is roughly 9 cu ft to work with in the back of my '97 S-10 ext cab and I'm willing to devote both amps to powering one sub. Right now its a toss up betw…

Was thinking, and wondering if Fi has contemplated making some ear buds? I know myself, and many others i'm sure would be all over them. I have no doubt they would sell like hotcakes. I would love to see some high quality buds in the future. With awesome drivers, and a better cord then {others} with maybe a "Fi" logo built in anyways, those are my thoughts.

Just had my system installed yesterday the 26th. I finished my custom box, carpeted and everything. Its 2.3cuft tuned to 33hz and its ported. I have a stinger amp kit, all 0 gauge. I also have a 250amp fuse. My system includes one 12in fi bl fully loaded, and a sundown sae1200d, which is capable of producing 1500 watts rms at 1ohm. This is my first system. OHH and i also purchased a line driver from jl that was like 200 bucks. Anyway my system HITS HARDDD Aas HELLLL. It freaken vibrates the cars around me. I annoy people alott on the street. I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee and i am having a bit of trouble right now i have 1 Q15 pushin 1500w at 1 ohm and im wanting to throw in another 15 but i dont have the cubic feet i need cause of my spare tire and im not allowed to take it out cause of my parents and i cant find a rack or anything for it should i go with the 2 Q15s or go with 2 BL12's on 1500 watts a piece? i think that this question will mostly be aimed at Scott....i recently purchased a "damaged" brahma mark II 12"(i think, no idea which is which but i am tol the mark II) that wasn't damaged at all really...just had to fix a bad glue joint and it works perfect now... 30 bucks and a 2 dollar tube of adhesive isn't too bad, but for my real question i bought it with the intentions of re-coning it to an 18" Fi Brahma Hybrid of some sort.... i was wondering if it could be done...or has it been done? i was thinking a dual 2 ohm coil with at least 1100 watts power handling... i still want to retain good sound quality also...not sure if i would want to do it ported or sealed thou…

I am currently in the process of building my dream system in my dream car (1970 olds). My experience with sound systems is limited to small amps and subs, never anything as big or expensive as I am attempting now. I am purchasing 2 12'' dual 1 ohm BTLs (as an spl driver) with all the trimmings and the option in the recommended enclosure shown in the cut sheets that are provided in the Tech forum. Hey Fi Audio, I ordered the wrong subs. I wanted the SSD 12'' instead of the IB3 12'' can you guys please switch my order and let me know how to pay for it. Or just use the money i already paid and switch the subs and not worry about the 20$ i owe you . Alright just let me know what i need to do to switch out the orders. I really want the SSDs

I'm looking to buy some speakers but i'm a little stuck i'm looking at either one 15 BTL or 2 15 BL's. The thing is i really want to know which would be louder as far as bass and quality? What kind of setup should I use? I'm about to buy me a 2000- 2005 impala ls 3.8 v6 125amp alt. With the two Bls would i need to get a h.o. alt or would i be ok with just 1 optima yellow top in the trunk and a battery under the hood, of course the big 3 is going to be done but will 4 gauge wire be enough. also this is a daily system that i'm setting up I'm going to get 1 1500 watt brutus mono amp for now. a little help from everyone will be great thanks.

It's great that Ficaraudio is busy and prospering. That means they'll be around for a long time to come. The Foam surround ripped apart on my fi Q 10" After 6 months of play. I have no idea what would cause this. Fi customer service is lacking to say the least. Does anyone know how to get in touch with someone at fi? I have been e-mailing the [email protected]

Should I be taking it easy on my 2 brand new Bl's until they break in a little or does that not matter? My old setup seems like it put out more spl and it was less power.These do sound good I just need to tweak the settings more then before.I was running 2 RF T0 12's with 1000bdcp,Now I have the 2 fully loaded BL 12's dual 2 wired to 2 ohms at the 1500bdcp. If I bump the BL's like I was bumping my old subs is it going to hurt them since there stiff as shit? I don't wanna screw myself out of some new subs I just spent $800 on.

Did a revamp today of my pop's explorer. It had 3 RE XXX 15's. We swapped out for 3 Fi Q 15's with the BP Power Package, and he loves the new subs. Old Setup New Setup Please excuse the mess, I had a little grinding to do on one spot for the subs to fit normally, instead of inverted, and I really like it alot better, and so does Pop. do I have to worry about window damage with two 12" fi bls?

I got rid of my G35 and bought an Explorer which I decided not to keep, so I got myself an '07 Dodge magnum. I have a pair of Q15's and a US Amps MD2 running off of a hi-lo converter on the stock system, and it still sounds tremendous. In a couple weeks I am installing a new HU and some mids and highs, but mu question for you is....What subs would you run in a Magnum if you were going for a LOUD daily ground pounder that would meter well. Meaning, not an all out SPL setup. Stick with the Q's? Get a pair of 15" BTL's? A single 18" BTL? My new baby...

i had tried and tried to remove this dust cap on my other Q cuz i have one with a cracked dust cap but works fine and i have one that looks perfect but the tinsel lead is fried i wanna replace the cracked dc with the good one so when i send it in both are ready to roll when i gets it back.... i CANNOT for the life of me get it off its like freakin godzilla glued to the cone ....100% relentless swear to god any tips?
