Recently bought a 15" bl and a fosgate 1000bd and am getting the big 3 done on thursday. Is one battery enough if its a yellow top?? Or should I just keep my regular battery and add a second cell in back. I would rather just have the one but not if its not gonna be good enough... Please help

I ordered a recone kit w/ basket for a Q. Wondering what all is included with this recone kit--push terminals, bolts for basket to motor, shim, CA glue, etc.? I'd like to have everything on hand when kit comes in.

running 900rms to it, should i get the bp power option? should i get it just in case i ever run more power to it?

I am planing to pick up either a Fi Audio BL12 or the Q12. So I'm new to this forum, but hoped I could get a little bit of help on an upcoming build I'll be helping a friend out with. He bought an 18" Fi BL which the seller claimed was "fully loaded". And he wants some help building a box for it. My 1st question is there a way to insure what options it was built with, like is there a serial number that can be looked up to see what it was originally bought with or a way you can tell what options it was built with? My next question is what is the optimal enclosure for these assuming it is fully loaded? well i have a 18" btl dual 1 ohm fully loaded daily sub. i know this sub will rattle the hell out of my 86 Monte but how will it do with music sound quality. she will be in about 5-6 cubes at 32hz. and powered at 2300 rms. now would i be better of switching out my 2 of my 6.5's on the doors for a set of components and then the other to 6.5's for a mid bass. i also have 3.5's in the dash 4x10's in the rear deck and a set of 6.5's in the rear interior panel. so i would think with those speakers i could get a good sounding system and turn the bass down low. if my thinking is flawed sorry.

Hello everyone. I'm in the process of building a small budget system and I want to get the Fi X 12" as my sub in a sealed enclosure. It will get power from Crescendo 1000C4(~500W bridged). I know that the recommended enclosure size ranges from 0.6-1.1 cuft but I don't know if I should go with a larger(1.158 cu ft.) sealed box or a smaller one(0.749 cu ft.). I listen to dubstep, rap(eminem) and rock. I want the sub to have good amount of output and produce good lows. i think that this question will mostly be aimed at Scott....i recently purchased a "damaged" brahma mark II 12"(i think, no idea which is which but i am tol the mark II) that wasn't damaged at all really...just had to fix a bad glue joint and it works perfect now... 30 bucks and a 2 dollar tube of adhesive isn't too bad, but for my real question i bought it with the intentions of re-coning it to an 18" Fi Brahma Hybrid of some sort.... i was wondering if it could be done...or has it been done? i was thinking a dual 2 ohm coil with at least 1100 watts power handling... i still want to retain good sound quality also...not sure if i would want to do it ported or sealed thou…

i didnt realize when i orderd my sub that if you have a dual voice coil sub that you cant wire it to be 1ohm , it will be higher or lower. i did get the universal option so i guess i can send it back and get it redone. how much does this cost to do. and does anyone from fi know if i would be able to maybe just send it back and get a replacement for a fee or somthing. thanks guys. kevin

Hi all! Finally came to the decision to go with Fi but not sure what model or size to go with. Just trying to get a little input. I'm a daily driver and listen mainly to rap. In the past I've entered in a few local SPL competitions when I had four 12" Diamonds but nothing serious. I'm trying to keep the price around the $300 range. Currently I have two 12" Kappa Perfect VQ's, each in its own 1.75 cu ft slot port box and each powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1505D. 0 awg power wire. 5 farad cap. Exide orbital battery. There is roughly 9 cu ft to work with in the back of my '97 S-10 ext cab and I'm willing to devote both amps to powering one sub. Right now its a toss up betw…

Pretty much decided on Fi for my next sub. Going for a single 12 in the trunk of a saab. The amp I have is an Elemental Designs Nine.1 with 1200 rms @ 1ohm or 900 rms @ 2ohm. Question is whether I should go with a BL and push the limits or underpower a BTL? I listen to mostly rap btw. Thanks for any insight!

i have two fully loaded fi btl 18 dual 1 ohm subs cant decide on wich amp/amps 1 rockford fosgate t4000.1 bd 1 sundown audio saz-4500d or two rockford 2500.1 ANY Ideas???

i have 2 fi bl 12's running on a crescendo audio 3k and the fi's are getting real warm...not hot.....just real warm....and i was wondering if this was normal?? also would a crescendo 3k be over powering them?.... im hitting around 140 db. and it sounds great in a 5 cft box tuned at 32 hz...its just getting warm and it worries me...

If I have 4 BTL N218's with 2 amps with 3500rms will the amps blow the subs? Because the subs have 2000rms?

best options for SQ and i wanna hit some lows. the amp will be a SAZ-1000D dual 1 or dual 2? hyper pole yes or no? cooling yes or no? flatwind yes or no? daily of spl? universal yes or no?
