I sent my subs out to get reconed by Fi. I bought the 2 reconing kits and what not but my question is do i have to pay for the sub to get returned to me or did they add that into the price. I did select the option to send my sub in.

I have a fi bl 18 dual 2 fully loaded. Just wondering what amps u guys run on urs and can they be made to sound decent in a really well built box?

Well i got my first 18in btl and all i can say is wow. definitely impressed with this baby and cant wait to order the second. so i have a 15" dual 2 ohm Fi Q, my sundown sae-1200d is gonna get repaired. i picked up a memphis mojo 2000 that is a 2 ohm amp. i currently have the Q wired up to a 4 ohm load and is hooked up. im just wondering why it does not get that loud? is it because it's wired to 4ohms? am i not getting the full power of the sub?.or is it because the sub is new and it's the first time it's seen power?. it's just weird becuase i can turn my kenwood deck up quite a bit., and it wont get as loud as i thought it would. some songs it will sound loud...maybe just wait it off and let the sub break in first? any help is appreciated, especially if you been down this road with the same sub…

Hi all, I'm new to this and been going by what my friend and his dad tell me but as their taste in music is different than mine I wanted to ask around. I drive a 03 s-10 xtrme ext cab and have 2 12's currently but they are horrid and was looking for something better. I list to alot of rock, metal but i also listen to quite a bit of hiphop/rap. I have a hifonics 2000watt amp and was wondering what size/series of speaker would work good for my taste in music and size of the truck that also work with the amp I already have.

Hey guys, just wanted a little input on which sub will suit me best. I have a 2003 Buick Lesabre, stock alt for now, 0 gauge throughout, optima yellow top, and a SAZ1500D. I like to listen to mostly rap. I currently have a sundown z15 v.1 in a 3 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz. I like the sundown sub, but I want something that pounds harder and louder! I am looking at 3 different 12" subs. FI BTL fully loaded, Sundown Nightshade, or SSA XCON. Now keep in mind whichever one I choose now, I will be getting a second one down the road for a total of 2. Ok, ive been talked into a 18" BTL over the 15".. my price range isnt a ton for an amp to power it. So far the only thing that has caught my eye is a Sundown SAZ1500D, can get it used from a guy down the street from me for about $270 with a few minor scratches... Ive been told HIfonics CAN be good if you get the right one.. what is the right one? IS there any other brands of affordable amps out there? I want the Sundown 2000D or the 3500D but new price is over budget for me.. what do you guys suggest? ordered two fi btl 18 fully loaded on the 6th of febuary 2010 .... lead time then was at 3 to 10 days.... its now the 11th now lead time says all btls wont be shipped till march 2nd and the cooling option will be free... i have already paid and pay pal been accepted ..... wondering if my subs were in the first batch of shipping..... or the march 2nd batch.... i fully understand that you guys build subs upon reciving order so i know it takes time just wondering if i can expect mine this month or next month...tried emailing scott no replies maybe on here i can get some answers thanks

I just bought a 02' lincoln LS and would like 2 Fi subs and new amp and im looking to spend around 800. Im looking for a LOUDDDD set up with somewhat good sound quality. any advice?

Im looking to buy a FI 15". The sub will be in a jeep. Which application would be the best? I was thinking about the BTL. For the most SPL which options should I add? Also what type of amp should I be looking at? Im not trying to spend a ton on an amp. I found a nice Planet Audio thats 3000@1ohm. Me and a buddy will build the enclosure. Let me know! Hey FI... I am looking to order a recone kit for my RE SX 12, and I have a couple questions... How long does it take to make/ship a Dual 1 ohm recone kit with a red FI logo? Does it matter what coils are in it right now, because I don't know what they are, neither of them are any good so I can't test them? Thank you

I placed the order for my 15" BL on the 28th of last month and they accepted my money that night, on the 2nd of this month i received my ups tracking number however when i check it as i have been like every day multiple times it say billing information received. my order is supposed to be here on the 8th according to ups. how come i can't track it, and should i really expect it to be here on the 8th?

I hate to start a post like this. I have already emailed you regarding my order. I ordered an fi btl 18in. and i got the dual2. I need it changed to the dual1 considering the amps i picked up only do full power a 2ohms. Once again sorry for the hassle, but i figured since it hasnt started being made it shouldnt be to big of a deal.

Maybe even a direct link to a picture of what i need. I also want something that will take a thief along time to unscrew if the little bastards go for my system. What the hell does this thing weight??? If I had to guess I guess from between 70-80 LBS.... Mine came today and I had it shipped to my Mom and Dad's house as I knew someone would be home to sign for it and take it in vs @ my house the UPS guy would leave it on the front porch for the neighbors to carry off.... Or tow away, with the weight of this thing... LOL... I must say, very nice on the packing job... If one of these comes damaged it was from the shippers neglect, not FIs.... Just a few more things (head unit, rest of the wire and some sound deadener) and I'll have everything... Still hoping for March or early April to have everything...

Well Tuesday I was very happy to order my first Fi, The btl 18 fully loaded daily. In paypal it say that the payment is still unclaimed. Im just wondering if this is a normal process and all. On the BTL/BL..etc.. The terminal posts are to accommodate size 12 gauge speaker wire, and if you want to run it from a 1ohm load in parallel. Then you would have to cut the amount of strands in half per wire, so basically you have 24AWG of each going into the terminals. Just seems small. Since my amp (2500RMS) has 0AWG inputs for power, and 4AWG for speaker wire hookups. Other subs with equal power handling I have seen have way larger terminals. Is there a reason to the small terminals? What do you guys do to ensure you able to put the most amount of power to the sub?
