Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums here; first post. Let's see, I have a 1986 Camaro Iroc. I'm building a box to fit in the well of the hatch(if anyone is familiar with these cars). I do not think I have room for a ported box, the design for the box yields a little over two cubic feet. So basically I just need help on what subs to buy. I've heard, and it seems like, that Fi is a quality brand so I'm pretty sure I want to go with them. Anyway, I'm looking between two SSD12s or one Q15. Whats with people always bashin on sealed boxes, when subs like SSDs and RE SEs do so well in them for daily pounders? Its seems people are so narrow minded and think the ONLY thing that is important about the box that if its ported or not. These people need to hear some loud sealed groundpounders!

I have a 12 inch 04 model re xxx and need a recone for it. i want to make it into a 15 inch sub though. i will need a basket for it to. the amp being used does 1600 watts at 4 ohms. how much will a recone and basket cost? thanks

just wondering if anyone knows an aproximate shipping time to canada at all i understand it takes time to build and thier backed up at the moment too just want to estimate my wait time to plan things to do and i know the wait will be worth it

Hey, I am new to the forums and car audio and general and have a couple of questions. Firstly I have a budget of about $1000.00 for a sub/amp/amp kit/box. I am planing to pick up either a Fi Audio BL12 or the Q12. I understand the Q has superior SQ, and the BL has superior SPL. Which sub would be ideal for my listening needs?? Friend of mind is looking hard at ordering a single 12" Q (dual 2 ohm) and running them on Leviathan in a sealed enclosure. He wants to run channel 5 & 6 on the Zed at 2 ohm giving the Q 500watts. Should he order any of the options (apart from high qts) or will just a plain Fi Q be enough? He's running a set of MLK's up front in his 2007 Caddy CTS Suggestions? Thanks

if installed properly..what would get off louder? 18 inch ssd with a hifonics 1200 or 12 inch bl with a hifonics 1600 i finally got a little bit of money to spend so i wanted another system. used to have a ssd 15 on a hifonics 1200..it sounded great!

i didnt know that Fi and Ascendant Audio were even related comapnies... what are the differences in the drivers you designed for each company and why both?? also which came first? i find it very interesting that i just now found this out, when ever since i got big into car audio, Fi has been my favorite company by far.

Ok, so after talking to others, it has come down to these two. I want to compete, probably only ever gonna be local comps. I've been waiting forever to hear back from PSI with an invoice for a recone and I'm starting to lean toward just buying one straight from Fi. I have a 12" UFO BTL that has been reconed once already. Is the Xmax coil option an option that you can add regardless, or do you have to originally have an Xmax coil to get it? I'm not sure what the sub has/had. I just don't want to order a recone and it not work.

Hi i will be buying 2 fully loaded bl 15's and i have a 2001 blazer extreme i plan on making the box around 8 cubic feet and about 32 hertz and a 200 amp alternator with 0 guage wire and i was wondering which amp to go with ehtier 2 of the Hifonics BXi 2008D or 1 Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000SPL so if some one could help me out or tell me which amp would go good. my price range for amps is about 400 to about 800 max so i would greatly apperiate it if some one could help me out thanks
