Scott, I have seen that you sent out a couple of tinsel leads to someone else in the past and was wondering if you could send me some new ones for a 12" BTL fully loaded. I noticed a couple of other ones are almost broken. Also what is the best way to put in the new leads? Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi, I'm looking at picking up a Sundown Audio SAX-1200D to match it up with a single Fi Q 12" with plans to run a ported setup. Being new to car audio my question is, will these two work together? Everything I've read seems to put these as a perfect match up. For options on the speaker I'm assuming it will need Dual 2 Ohm and cooling options. Is the option for an extra "spider" needed? I'll be ordering the amp in the morning, should you guys give the OK, as there is an amazing deal on one of the internet retailers. Thanks for the help.

So, got the BTL all hooked up Running on a Hifonics BXI 2600D in a custom 3.3 cube box ported 33hz in a 2000 hyundai sonata And WOW WOW WOW One BEAST of a sub!!!! It keeps getting LOUDER and LOUDER!!!!!!! It moves EVERYTHING, Everyone is awestruck!!! My friend says that this ONE sub outdoes his 4 12"s by TWICE as much!! The Question(s): BP,Basket,and Send in sub are some of the options.. 1.Can i get the BP power option if mine didn't originally have it? 2.Basket? do i say yes or no? Hey guys before i get completely torn a new one the dimensions of this sub arent clearly listed on the website. I am working with very marginal clearance and i was hoping someone could help me out her. first off im looking to do 2 SSD10s under the back seat of my truck so space is tight to say the least. Does anyone have a picture of these or could help me with dimensions? Things that i know, the mounting depth is 6 inches. the only pictures that i saw had the mounting depth closer to 7 inches. so i noticed last week that my lows were not making my heart beat off tune... i thought perhaps i am just getting used to my subs and it was time to upgread today me and my sister went to the store, i was on the way back and i turned it up.. and the low end was there.. but not like it used to be.. to i whipped in behind a big box store and poped my trunk.. and what did i see my subs jumping out of the box at me! i broke, a buncha screws... and there were a buncha screws that pulled out of the wood. its maybe time to build a new box. im very glad that the cone had the tensil pad otherwise im sure it would have rubbed thru no sprider crackage no other sign …

Well this past week i finally finished up my install so i thought i would post a few pics now and ill upload the rest later on. I'm looking to try a new driver in my home theater and after hearing nothing but good stuff about Fi I think its time to give them a try. I am considring the Q15 or Q18. The enclosure is sealed with a net volume around 7 cubic feet. The amp is a Face F1200TS and I will run the sub off of one channel leaving the other channel free for a second sub in the near future. I have a dcx2496 in the chain between my Marantz 7002 and the Face amp. I am open to suggestions if anyone has an opinion of a different Fi driver to try.

Maybe even a direct link to a picture of what i need. I also want something that will take a thief along time to unscrew if the little bastards go for my system. I fried the coils on my Crossfire BMF XT15 and cant seem to find a place to get a crossfire re-cone.... I was wondering if Fi could/would recone it. Please let me know if someone can help. Thanks, Cody

I just have a question guys. I e mailed fi last week and they said my fi btl should ship out no later than Thursday of last week. But I never recieved a tracking number or anything. I'm not like trippin or anything I just want to know cuz I want to be home or have somebody at my house to recieve it because I work a lot and am not always at my house. I know that fi is really busy so do they ship and just not send a tracking number? Or has my BTL not been shipped out yet? Thanks guys

Friend of mind is looking hard at ordering a single 12" Q (dual 2 ohm) and running them on Leviathan in a sealed enclosure. He wants to run channel 5 & 6 on the Zed at 2 ohm giving the Q 500watts. Should he order any of the options (apart from high qts) or will just a plain Fi Q be enough? He's running a set of MLK's up front in his 2007 Caddy CTS Suggestions? Thanks

hi today i was playing deep bass for like 20 minutes and after i gave the sub a break i touched the fi cap and it was pretty warm is this ok?? if i had played it for a lil longer would the sub had blown up???or do i have to break in my sub???im running a rockford fosgate p8002 amp and its sopuse to put out like 950 rms only. I tought a fi could take more than that if i got all the options thanks.

Hello, I am having some problems with my Fi Q 12" and I dont know what happened. The other day I was listening to some music and then suddenly my sub stopped working completely. I tested the resistance from both the coils and only one side is working, what should I do? Do I need a recone? Ive sent some emails to scott nick and the sales emails and called and left a few messages but havent heard from anyone yet. Is there any way the sub could be fixed?

So my budd is worried about his electrical in his 2000 Toyota 4Runner and wonders if he needs to upgrade his Alternator and/or battery. He's running I think a yellow top under the hood, and we'll be running an AQ1200D on my 18 soon enough. Thanks guys
