im about to get a 18" btl on a hifonics brz2400 but i was thinking about getting 2 15" btls on a hifonics collusus 3200rms. Which would be louder?

What would be the best type of fi sub with 1000 rms in a 10 with little air space? I was thinking of haveing two 10s

how much port area should use for a 6cube box with pvc ports? is 4 4" ports enough?

the box is 6.5 cubes tuned to 36hz with 75sq in of port the box is behind the front seat of my civic sub facing up and port facing forward and it just seems like it isn't wangin...could it be you guys built it the SPL version rather than daily? (i sent an email saying i messed up and wanted it changed and got no update) i mean it could be something to do with the box and the port being forward...let me know thanks im not happy at all with it...we installed my brothers 15in BL and i was blown away its in 5 cubes at 35hz and mine seems like a single 8 compared to it

The cosmetics aren't quite done yet but I got the sub running and with what little (in comparison) power it's getting from that old Opti 50C off stock electrical I'm more than happy with it. Once upgrades are done and the 3000d is here, it will REALLY bang! to the guys at Fi- if it makes any difference i will be using this 12 sealed off of a US Amps AX600DE and per Flakko will push 800-850 at 13.6v. just wanted to give you a heads up if it makes a difference in the build if you set them up any differently. zac lampson

Okay... Just ordered my 12" BTL fully loaded dual 1 ohm the other day, im GEEKED!! First question, i have a Hifonics BXI2610D amp, i wanna wire my sub to 1ohm to get the most power... correct? how do i do this? second, i have a stock battery and alt in an 02 cougar... do i absolutely HAVE to upgrade? Third, i bought a ported box off of a buddy, he says its 2.7ft^3, is this going to sound good with the amp and sub i have? By the way, im running 0 gauge wires and a wimpy 4 farad cap. I'm kindof a car audio newb you could say so any help would be greatly appreciated

I just have a question guys. I e mailed fi last week and they said my fi btl should ship out no later than Thursday of last week. But I never recieved a tracking number or anything. I'm not like trippin or anything I just want to know cuz I want to be home or have somebody at my house to recieve it because I work a lot and am not always at my house. I know that fi is really busy so do they ship and just not send a tracking number? Or has my BTL not been shipped out yet? Thanks guys

I have a few questions about the Fi BTL sub" 1) What is the difference between choosing the options Dual 1 and Dual 2? Ex. Would i have to buy a certain amp if I chose Dual 1 or Dual 2? or if i get 2 subs would i need 1to be dual 1 the other to be 1 dual 2 ? 2) Is there a warranty for the Fi BTL sub, if so how long is the warranty for? Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on our shipping. We have changed from UPS to Fed Ex. Now when you place your order, you will not get a tracking number until your order actually ships. Previously with UPS you would get the tracker as soon as your order was processed, so customers thought that there order had already shipped, when that was not the case, as we still had to machine all the parts and get it put together. if installed properly..what would get off louder? 18 inch ssd with a hifonics 1200 or 12 inch bl with a hifonics 1600 i finally got a little bit of money to spend so i wanted another system. used to have a ssd 15 on a hifonics 1200..it sounded great!

i entered my first ever bass race comp with my new system. loaded 15" BTL on an MA Audio hk4000d in a 4 cubes box tuned to 34hz playing "air forces". i qualified with a 139.8 in the 130-139.9 class. i went over the 140 mark and hit 141 for a bit, but had to drop it down to avoid getting put in the 140 class. however, i got eliminated in the first round by someone with a lot more experience, i only lost by .2 db's because i was at 139.9 with a few seconds left and had to drop it down fast so not to break over the 140 mark and risk getting DQ'd. i ended with a 139.6. sad thing is that i had the guy beat the entire time until the last few seconds. there is another comp comi…

I know I will be going with a 12" BTL ported in my trunk. I am just curious about how the BTL compares to the MX. I heard a MX today and it was pretty cool, still hear better things about the BTL regardless. Both are super sexy subs.....and the BTL kills it in price. So, all in all, how do the two compare....SPL, SQ, or even LSQ?

I was wondering about daily RMS powerhandling. I know every sub has imp rise,. But lets say I have a 15 " ssd with flatwound coils. Could I put a 1200 watt rms amp on it daily? or 1400?;

im going to build my box today for my Fi BL 15" and i looked onlinw of what to use and it says to use Panhead sheet metal screws? shouldnt i use wood screws or are those wood screws?? and it also says to use drywall screws? why use drywall screws? whats the diffrence? and where do they go?
