i remember there being talk a while ago, about some 22" BTLs and i think the BLs too. are those still coming soon or are they out of the picture now? i havent heard anything about them in a long while...

I am currently running a 10" Alpine type R off an Alpine M450 Amp. The type R is in a large ported enclosure. It sounds terrible with the type of music i listen to (hard rock). It will play pretty low and get loud while listening to rap, but I hardly ever listen to rap. I only put this in my Jeep as a quick fix (paid 100 for amp, sub, and box) and now I finally have the money to do a whole new system. My local shop keeps trying to get me to do a JL 12W6 in a sealed enclosure running off a 500/1. He says "It will hit hard (tight) and be loud enough for me". I do not want to go with JL especially since he wants 650 for a 12W6 and a box. I would like to go with (1) 15" in …

Hi i will be buying 2 fully loaded bl 15's and i have a 2001 blazer extreme i plan on making the box around 8 cubic feet and about 32 hertz and a 200 amp alternator with 0 guage wire and i was wondering which amp to go with ehtier 2 of the Hifonics BXi 2008D or 1 Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000SPL so if some one could help me out or tell me which amp would go good. my price range for amps is about 400 to about 800 max so i would greatly apperiate it if some one could help me out thanks

Hi, is anyone running Fi products going to be at either Texas Heat Wave shows in San Antonio or Austin?

I'm very happy with the quality of this subwoofer. Right now its in a sealed enclosure ~ 2.5 ft^3 after displacement. My old subwoofer was a 12" Infinity Perfect VQ in a sealed box as well. I was basically looking for more output, but still wanting it to sound just as good as my old sub. The Q fit perfectly, and it sounds just as good as the infinity i had before, only louder. I haven't tested it on alot of music, but their are some rock songs i have found that i actually prefer the sound of the Q over the infinity on lower volumes as well. Overall, I am very satisfied. I am thinking of trying a ported box (~3.5 @ 31hz) for the hell of it, since i have only had experienc…

im going to build my box today for my Fi BL 15" and i looked onlinw of what to use and it says to use Panhead sheet metal screws? shouldnt i use wood screws or are those wood screws?? and it also says to use drywall screws? why use drywall screws? whats the diffrence? and where do they go?

I have 2 Memphis 1000 Watt amps and was wondering if they were enough to push 4 15" BTL's. THey say 2000rms so im not sure if 500 watts would be good enough for 1

I know I will be going with a 12" BTL ported in my trunk. I am just curious about how the BTL compares to the MX. I heard a MX today and it was pretty cool, still hear better things about the BTL regardless. Both are super sexy subs.....and the BTL kills it in price. So, all in all, how do the two compare....SPL, SQ, or even LSQ?

I was wondering about daily RMS powerhandling. I know every sub has imp rise,. But lets say I have a 15 " ssd with flatwound coils. Could I put a 1200 watt rms amp on it daily? or 1400?;

I have a brand new Hifonics GLX1400.1D and all new 2 gauge wire ran. I should have my ssd 18 sometime in the next couple weeks. Does anyone know what i should tune my box too? its all going in a 01 eclipse(hatchback). I also would like to know what i should run my subsonic filter and everything as. I have a few questions about the Fi BTL sub" 1) What is the difference between choosing the options Dual 1 and Dual 2? Ex. Would i have to buy a certain amp if I chose Dual 1 or Dual 2? or if i get 2 subs would i need 1to be dual 1 the other to be 1 dual 2 ? 2) Is there a warranty for the Fi BTL sub, if so how long is the warranty for? hey i have a couple last minute questions! i need to cut a hole for the sub to fit in! On the Fi web site i have a Bl 15" does the CUT ID: 14.125" mean thats the size of the hole across i cut?? and for the port i should screw those into the box on the top and bottom not just glue right?? i entered my first ever bass race comp with my new system. loaded 15" BTL on an MA Audio hk4000d in a 4 cubes box tuned to 34hz playing "air forces". i qualified with a 139.8 in the 130-139.9 class. i went over the 140 mark and hit 141 for a bit, but had to drop it down to avoid getting put in the 140 class. however, i got eliminated in the first round by someone with a lot more experience, i only lost by .2 db's because i was at 139.9 with a few seconds left and had to drop it down fast so not to break over the 140 mark and risk getting DQ'd. i ended with a 139.6. sad thing is that i had the guy beat the entire time until the last few seconds. there is another comp comi…

Looking at NEW (not used) vehicles that would be good to put a huge system in. It needs to be under $17,500. So far the only ones that I have like are the 2008 Scion XB, and the Jeep Patriot. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks guys. Dan

So, i put a temp amp in with my BTL. I put a hifonics 1610 in and OMFG. No words can explain how happy i am with this sub woofer. I just cant imagine what it will is going to sound like with my t 30001bd on it, it is going to be just NASTY. I am going to hook up a t10001bd up to it tomorrow to hear what it sound likes with REAL clean power not Rockford poop. Just letting you guys know i am a verry satisfied customer.

Alright so I have had my system in for a couple of months now and I have finally had some time to really get to know it. Now that the hype of having a new system is over I am starting to listen to my normal music and not just rap, so thats stuff like 311, Eve 6, and Modest Mouse. And i have to say is that, it sounds amazing for being a 15. It keeps up with the fastest drum kicks and its clean and crisp. I could not be happier with the SQ of this sub. Before i had 2 10's and those were amazing for rock but this is just as good if not better, I got the benefit of being much louder and having lower notes but did not give up any accuracy! Well this past week i finally finished up my install so i thought i would post a few pics now and ill upload the rest later on.
