Hello everyone, new to posting on this site. I just ordered a ssd 12" and a AQ1200d. I can't wait! My last setup was a pioneer champion pro 12" and i have read so much great stuff about Fi. I hope you guys are right! I drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma ext. cab so it should be pretty sweet. I'll be running it in a sealed box due to tight space and i like quick hits. I got it fully loaded with the H-Qts sealed option. I'm really looking forward to using Fi!

Hey guys, I've got a 1200w Diamond Audio amp to work with, and was wondering what would sound best at that wattage - the Fi SSD or the Fi Q? Thanks!

Its looking like a bunch of SSD's or the Ascendant equivalent for the new bass race system, with the amps I will have each sub will be getting about 400-500 watts each (most likely 12 x 15's sealed)....i know thats below the rms rating for the ssd's but the idea is that I'll be able to demo and bang on the system a lot longer, plus i like having a 3in coil woofer. Just wondering if anyone has ever used SSD's with this kind of power? Results?

I ordered a 2 ohm DVC sub but I need a 1 ohm DVC sub. My invoice # I-17666/00. I sent an email, but I know it takes a couple days to read them and I placed the order 2 days ago. I hope I'm lucky and it's still early enough to change. I apologize for my stupidity :/

I've already seen the tracking information on UPS about the BTL18 and BTL15 that my Aunt ordered for me. I was kinda worried when I saw the shipping weight on both packages. One package weighed at 69lbs which i assumed was the BTL18, while the other weighed in at 55lbs. I was expecting the BTL18 to have a 72lb weight considering that its fully loaded and packaged with wood reinforcements as to having wood reinforcement is very important because im gonna have it shipped to the Philippines together with the BTL15. Im just too concerned about their weight because I was informed that the BTL18 should weigh around 72lbs while the BTL15 should weigh around 69lbs. and im startin…

***Attention Fi Car Audio Staffs!*** This is a notice regarding the future ordering of two Fi BTL Subs. one 15" BTL (dual 2, cooling option, daily, universal) and one 18" BTL (dual 2, cooling, 3rd magnet, HiXmCoil, Daily, universal). I asked my aunt from CA to order it for me because im from the Philippines. I believe she already sent an email to sales -at- ficaraudio.com but im worried that she might not get a reply like from what ive experienced.. Could somebody from Fi give her some assistance cause she doesnt know anything about car audio stuffs AFAIK. She'll be using the email add dancast -at- comcast.net. Hope this info helps. Thanks!

I need to know how to go about getting some Fi stickers. I have posted a review on the Q and several other threads on the Fi Q. I know there was something about posting reviews and whatnot to get a free sticker and shirt if I remember correctly. I dont normally do the sticker thing but I have my first show coming up next month and I am going to "label" up for it.

Hello, I am strongly considering getting some FI BLs. First, i have to say that i am very impressed with the videos I have seen of what these subs can do. I have not heard any in person, but i also hear the Sound quality is amazing. I have a good understanding of car audio and installs, im no expert. Here is some questions i have: looking at the FI BL 12" "Re: 0.75 Ohms/coil | 1.5 Ohms/coil" what is this? i thought the D1 and d2 options where ohms loads per voice coil? I have made one slight mistake on an ohm load and fried a very good sub, cause my calculations were less then 1/2ohm off. If i buy 2 FI BL 12"s can I safely run a D2 off a single channel amp? Run…

I am looking at setting up a sub in my car. I have had systems in the past, but I'm used to just running subs from Crutchfield or Best Buy - just choose your size, amount of coils, and throw it in the car. I am looking for a single sub that can handle a lot of power, but still be very clean. I'm not looking to go to any shows or SPL competitions, I just want to enjoy it in my daily driver. My problem is I'm ignorant on reading the specs for the subs on Fi's product page - I don't know what they mean by Fs, Re, Qms, Qes, etc. I have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp that I am going to use. It is rated 1200W x 1 @ 1 Ohm and 900W x 1 @ 2 Ohm. What sub would best fit my needs -…

I am installing a 2-way active + sub system in a 2007 Civic sedan. Power will be provided by a single 5 channel Kicker ZX700.5 (sub channel is rated at 280 @4ohm / 420 @ 2ohm - under rated per reviews and birth sheets). Head unit is 880PRS. I certainly have enough power to run a X12, but is this even remotely viable for an SSD in a sealed enclosure? As I would like to stick with 5ch amp, my pother choice is a Polk Audio PA1100.5 which is 1ohm stable and can produce 600 watts (not sure about actual output on this model). Keep in mind my goals are to have better than stock sound and my musical tasted run from jazz, to classic rock, punk, salsa, electronic, hip hop, etc. I …
