I plan on doing a 4th order build for 2 SSD 10's and was wondering if I should go with the high QTS option? I plan to have them in a 3^ft @47hz(50^in port),1^ft sealed BP box,sound good?

if I got a tracking number does that mean my woofer shipped out?

I went outside this morning to work on my alternator that has been giving me problems and when the garage door opened up the was a fedex guy digging through his truck. Since he was on the other side of the road I just didn't think anything of it. When he dug out a box, struggled to pick it up and then started walking to my house I freaked out. Without any shipping info or warning at all my BL 15 came in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!! I am order #1624 ordered on April 2nd and got my sub in perfect condition today April 26th. Don't even have a box made... Thought it would take a lot longer to get it here.

I ordered my ssd 18 on the 18th of march. Revieved it today. april 18th. And when I opened my box the sub was sitting sideways. I have read forums on here about peoples subs arriving messed up and fi not fixing it so I decided to take pictures for proof. Will fi fix this or am I just screwed? I have a feeling its revenge for me complaining about build time. I have pictures on my computer, I just don't know how to put them on here, could anyone help me?

Just received my FedEx information for order number 1471/1472 on order 1471 is says as follows Reference information includes: Department number: (1)BL15D2 FC Ice On order number 1472 it says, Reference information includes: Department number: (1)BL12D2 FC Ice I order 2 BL12s not a 15 and a 12 Also both say there 51lbs which is what the 12's weigh, the 15's are 54lbs so I hope its just a typo error n my order is correct

I've sent my sub in to get reconed over a month ago and on n the 2nd of this month I sent an email wondering the status on my sub and when it should be shipping. All I'm wanting is an update or status of my sub because I have not gotten any response since the 2nd and I have sent 2 more emails since then and still no reply. I've seen many other posts about how Fi is always busy and they'll respond, but I need a little more communication than this. Order number is #1259 Thanks.

It looks as if we have reached the end of an era. The BTL is no longer on the Fi website. Yes, Fi has a website. Lets take a moment and share our favorite BTL experience. My first BTLs were/are the N2 version. I've still yet to try them out in a car, but I have re-coned one of them. It was my first re-cone. Unlike other Fi re-cone stories. My re-cone showed up unexpectedly a week after the order was placed. The glue, which I order after the re-cone, took 2 months to arrive. I did run them in my home theater for a while. The got the job done, no problem. I cant wait to see what they do in my car. Farewell BTL, you will be missed.

Ive been in contact with FI and they barely respond to me. I shipped my sub to them 2 months ago and i have confirmation that it was received and signed for by them from UPS. They said they never received it and were questioning me if i sent it. the address is correct btw. They lost my package and have not contacted me back about it after emailing them.... IF....i get my subwoofer back fixed, i wont be doing business with them again....ssa only for now on. Thought id share this with everyone incase this has happened before, or maybe an FI employee might see this and email me.....

I've been waiting forever to hear back from PSI with an invoice for a recone and I'm starting to lean toward just buying one straight from Fi. I have a 12" UFO BTL that has been reconed once already. Is the Xmax coil option an option that you can add regardless, or do you have to originally have an Xmax coil to get it? I'm not sure what the sub has/had. I just don't want to order a recone and it not work.

Has anyone received there subs within the last 2 weeks n not receive a tracking number? And/or shows awaiting fulfilment still??

I have a single BTL N2 18 that i am upgrading from a planet audio 5000.1D to an amp that can put out real power numbers and has 1/0 power and ground. I was thinking of the Crescendo 3500 or sundown 3500 as i hear the BTL N2 can easilly take 3500 RMS. Are those 2 amps one of my better, if not the best options and if not which would you suggest in a daily driver? I should probably include this is a dual 2 ohm that i will be wiring to 1 ohm. Basically if you had the choice what is the perfect amp to pair with this sub? **Also i would like to know if i have been misinformed of the btl handling that much power before i just go and blow this sub.**

I have a 4cu box tuned to 33 hz and a sp4 15 in it. if i were to get the hole cut bigger for a sp4 18..what would happen? and is the box too small for the sp4 18 to sound good. btw im in a pontiac g6

ok so today i just recieved my brand new FI BL 15! i was so excited to see the box from FI, unable to contain my excitement i opened it up instantly and what i found was some great packing! wood bottom and top and 2x4's and some nice foam but once that top board came off i found that the dustcap wasnt the color i ordered(not a big deal to me at all).... but the thing that worries me is.. is it actually my sub? or did they just mess up the dust cap color? i ordered ice blue and got red(once again no big deal) just worried its not the right one, i ordered a fully loaded BL and the invoice is correct i know that. just worried it might be the wrong sub...

I currently have two 1ohm stable amps, soon to have my two dual 1ohm subs, I wanna strap my amps to have a final 1ohm load per amp, I understand that that when strapping final load is split in half, so when I wire it, would I wire each sub individually series/parallel so each sub is 2ohm? Just wanna make sure I got this right first time strapping So basically Step 1= series/parallel Step 2= + of each sub to + on master Step 3= - of each sub to + on slave Final ohm per amp 1ohm.........I think??

I have a brand new Hifonics GLX1400.1D and all new 2 gauge wire ran. I should have my ssd 18 sometime in the next couple weeks. Does anyone know what i should tune my box too? its all going in a 01 eclipse(hatchback). I also would like to know what i should run my subsonic filter and everything as. I sent my FI BL12 fully loaded out to be reconed over a month and a half ago and it hasnt been sent back to me yet. Ive been in contact with FI and they said they thought it was shipped out already....Where is my subwoofer? This might seem really horrible to start a forum about, but I feel like it is needed. I emailed FI through there contact tap asking questions about the Subwoofer I wanted to order. I waited a couple days and got no response(still nothing today). So I figured maybe it didn't send, or you know something happened and they didn't receive it. How much room do I need to have between bottom of box to the floor of truck? I am building a downfiring sealed box (may go ported with 10's) for crewcab chevy. I have just right at 3.0 ft^3 airspace after displacement which is exactly what is called for for the 12" Fi Q (x2) if I have the legs on the box at 1.75". I just needed to know how much room to clear sub. Thanks in Advance!

Is there a Fi worker that's able to give us a close estimate of how long/backed up u guys are??
